7) Character Personal History: Born the second son of Lord Eustace Baratheon, Yohn had, since his youngest years, one of the proudest and egocentric stag in all Storm's End 's herd. He also never had a good relation with his father, who had always turned his attention to the the perfect and promising heir, Sammael, for whom he also gave no love, yet no hate either.
At 10 he started squiring for one of his father's vassals, for seven years he lived away from home and his family. When Yohn came back, knighted and fully trained, something inside him told him he would be Lord Eustace's choice for Commander of the Baratheon's army. But no... Sammael, would get that, and he would have to quench his thirst for power with the cargo of Lord Admiral. Gods, he'd always hated ships... But he did as he was commanded, for that was his duty.
At 20 he found true love. He married Lady Catherine Grandison, and for six months they lived in pure harmony, some even said the iron heart of the Black Stag had melted. But that was before the fever came... It was quick, she only lasted a fortnight. Consumed by sorrow, Yohn found comfort on the raping of one of his servants. And that was it, the steaming molten iron solidified back, even harder than before.
When his father died, at least one sign of gratitude was given him by his brother, the place as Justiciar of the Sotrmlands. His iron fist dealing with peasants and nobles alike proved him to be the perfect choice. Twenty years ago, when ocurred the great marriage of the Targaryens, the whole family went to King's Landing, leaving Yohn as steward... Some minor Lord took offense when Yohn commanded him to disband his troops in a feud with other minor Lord... He didn't seem to have listened... And when the family came back, his whole family hung at the gates and no one heard again of House Pitt. That day he gained a nickname among the smallfolk, Lord Gallows.
And nine months later, the twins came... And in them Yohn saw a great opportunity. As they grew, he molded them under their personalities and his need. Dagon would make a great killer, he just needed to stay quieter, but there's nothing one good beating would not fix. And Harlan would make the perfect envoy, with his soft conquering voice.
Time passed, and Yohn got used with the idea of Admiral. Not that he liked it, but as he won in the battlefield he started know that was the place he was meant to be... He even ordered built a ship of his own, the strongest galley on the Stormfleet, "The Black Fawn", he called it... But some bold folk say it was named during one of his soft moments, and it's actually name is "The Fawn of Grandeview", but of course the don't do it on his face.
8) Character Physical Description: Yohn is a large man - tall, broad shouldered and sinewy, reaching almost 6’6’’. While he is not described as being particularly unattractive, he is also not considered as handsome. The long curly locks that fall over his shoulders are dark as a night without a moon, even with the weight of 53 years upon his shoulders. Although he’s got hard wrinkles across his forehead, due to his almost constant frowning, the rest of his face is soft, well treated and covered by a close cropped dark beard. He has deep dark blue eyes and thin, pale lips.
9) Character Reputation: He is well known among the other nobles as cold, ruthless and sometimes immoral, yet calm and controlled, man, who is willing to do anything for the best of the family. Among the peasants, he is feared for he makes sure that everyone sees what happens with those who go against him. Thus gaining the byname, The Black Stag.
