The Library of the Hightower is large and quite expansive.
A room off the library is used for tutoring lessons. All of the Fosterlings must attend. Maesters from the citadels take turns teaching lessons.

Gerold wandered the halls for a while. Though he hadn't yet eaten this evening, he eventually decided against going back to the ball. It was likely all ruined by now, anyway, and it had never been all that likely he'd get a dance in the first place. He was well aware he was not the most appealing of the young men, and he allowed himself a sigh. If only he were more like the athletic Hightowers, or charming like a Lannister. Or had the exotic appeal of a Dornishman.
In the intervening time he had obviously taken a moment to wipe the last of the stray cream from his boots. The boots that brought him to the Library with barely a conscious thought. He wandered the dull shelves, the dusty, musty smell familiar and soothing after the chaotic, busy, frustrating atmosphere at the 'ball'. With a candle in hand, he headed through the stacks to the section on fantastic beasts. He selected a slim tome about dragons, carried it over to a table, set down his candle and began to read.

William enters the room slowly and walks up to a Maester, "Um....Maester, c...can you tell me if there are any drawings or paintings of Seaguard?" He asks him shyly.

Maerys walks up," I can show you around", he looks at the boy a little closer,"you must be new. I'm Maerys Dayne, heir to Starfall."

Maerys smiles, then notices that the boy isn't looking at him."Well follow me." He leads the boy to a dusty part of the library,"This is historical, I'm usually the only person I see here, its a good place to come hide." He leads him down the row until they come to an extremely dusty part, he pulls out a book."This is an history of Seagard, which is your home and the place you were asking about." He pulls it down and opens it, dust flies everywhere. Maerys coughs for a second,"Here you go, its completely done in illustration. Seems an illuminator missed Seagard too."

"We could play some civasse in the meantime,"he didn't want to abandon the kid so quickly after crushing his hopes. He started walking towards one of the many civasse tables.
