Mariya entered the training yard. She was dressed in her usual tunic and breeches with the padded leather overtunic. She looked around for an opponent.

Finn entered. He wore a padded gambeson beneath a jerkin of boiled black leather which matched his black breeches and leather boots. Over his shoulder lay a white half-cape. He smiled politely, "Funny meeting you here." He said.

She turned and smiled at him.
"Hello, Finn. You're feeling better then? Care to have a few rounds with me?"

"I thought it about time I got my legs back underneath me," he agreed. "I've no desire to survive a lion only to be slaughtered by you Mariya, but I wouldn't mind some practice."

"I don't think Lord Hightower would be very pleased if I hurt you. I'll be gentle, I promise. As long as you're sure you don't mind being spotted sparring with a girl?"
