After speaking with his eldest son at their camp, Lord Edwyn Grandison leaves Ser Eldon in command of the men and rides to the castle.
Accompanied by his sons Ser Lyonel and Ser Jon, Lord Edwyn proceeds to the Great Hall. There it appears most of the Stormlords are assembled.
Edwyn nodded greetings to his brothers-in-law Lord Caron and Lord Swann as he entered, while his sons pointed out to him what other Marcher lords appeared to be present. The Trants, Lonmouths, Staedmons, Wagstaffs, Wensingtons, Selmys and Peasburys all were there.

Lord Rhodri stands in front of all the men, and says, "I have studied the situation closely, and I am sure of my plan, but I would like to hear what the men of the Stormlands have to say before making the final decision. Would any like to speak."
There was a great clamor as man spoke at once, and then just as suddenly silence fell as all stopped speaking. A moment of silence filled the hall.

Lord Edwyn had said nothing during the clamor, but he now stepped forward and spoke firmly but respectfully.
"If Lord Rhodri, you are referring to the Dornish threat, I have my own ideas on how we should proceed as I am sure many here do also. Perhaps this gathering might proceed more efficiently if you outline your plan to us first."

Rhodri frowned, "I do not want this to be an issue Edwyn, but I would appreciate if you would make your suggestions first. If you have any?"

Edwyn inclined his head in acknowledgment.
"All that we are aware of Lord Rhodri, is that some Dornish lords have raised their forces and have moved to their side of the passes. Why this has happened I do not know. My scouts tell me they have not crossed into the Stormlands. I have raised my troops as a precaution to combat any possible incursion. We're also informed that your cousin the Hand has called up banners in the Vale for war against Dorne.
"My son also informs me that the Dornish have been accused in regards to the recent murders of Erik Tyrell and Lord Dondarrion and that is the reason for war.
"If the Dornish are indeed responsible, then I suggest that the Stormlords be directed to raise their banners, An overall commander should be appointed to lead them. We strike hard and quickly at an appointed place. I suggest the Valesmen attack Manwoody, strike through Princes Pass towards Skyreach, while the Stormlands' host attacks Wyl, then moves through the Boneway towards Yronwood. At the same time the Royal Fleet lands troops on the Dornish north coast at Ghost Hill and strikes towards Sunspear.
"Of course this is all dependent on the amount of troops available to us and that I do not know."
Edwyn had been looking at Lord Rhodri while he had been speaking, but now he shifted his gaze to the other Stormlords.
"Rumor has suggested that the Dornish may not in fact have been responsible for the death of Lord Dondarrion. Can we be assured that we are actually moving against the right enemy?"
