Several rows back and to the right of the King's position, Lady Ellyn Celtigar sits with her son Bran and daughter Becca to watch the jousting.
Bran cheers as the first contest ends in a resounding victory for Ser Garlan Frey. "What a blow! Did you see the other knight as he flew from his horse?"
He is less impressed with the second joust and scowls at the Oldflower knight and whispers to his mother "That is no true knight! He shames the King and himself!"
The third match is by far the closest and the boy watches anxiously, biting his lip as the smash of lances splintering on shields is heard even at their back position. He applauds loudly as the Ironborn emerges victorious

Ser Patrek, who was making his way back through the stands toward the rest of the Freys, spots the Celtigars.
"Lady Ellyn," he says, stopping before where they sat. "What a pleasant encounter," he smiled.

Ser Kyle Stone watches from the stairs on the stands. Having just finished giving a last few words of advice to the young Lord.
Kyle looks nervous with the two hits but Alaric stays a horse and finally on the third tilt Kyle yelled triumphantly.

Myranda Allyrion was sitting with Lord Bettley during the Joust and was mostly smiling, except for when the Dornishman got defeated.
"A terrible lot of fuss is made over the Joust... I find the Melee to be far more exciting," She said, glancing at Piers whilst clapping enthusiastically as Ser Gerard Dayne won his matching.

Piers smiled, and replied, "I prefer the Joust. The melee is all chaos, and luck. I prefer the joust, it is about skill, precision, and timing." He raised her hand to his mouth, and kissed it, "Those are qualities I appreciate."
Tomas Clegane looked up to Piers, and barked a laughed, "Sometimes a man just needs to kill something." His gaze drifted knowingly to Myrandia, but he turned his attention back to the grounds below.

Myranda looked down at Clegane briefly and then round at Piers and smiled, "Of course you do," she said, squeezing his hand slightly, "Chaos and luck is more exciting to watch than precision and timing. The Joust has it's merits also, a larger prize being perhaps the one that springs foremost to mind."

Piers chuckled, "If you were so interested in the prize perhaps you should have competed. I could easily have arranged a suit of armor, and then you would have been a mystery knight from far off."

"I shall leave the precision pointing of sticks to those most capable, I doubt I could ever lift one of those lances, let alone aim it at another person whilst riding a horse." she paused a grinned a little, "Now that would be a fine example of true chaos."

Piers smiles, "I agree with your there. While I appreciate the skill, and training, I am more then content to let others practice." He squeezed her hand, "I have so many more intersting things to do with my time."

"Like filing expenses and... juggling?" she teased and laughed softly before turning and looking out to the joust again.

Piers nodded, "And I excel at both." He looked at her, as she looked at the Jousters, "So who do you favor?"

"Whoever looks the best and is also Dornish of course." she said, smiling but keeping her eyes on the field, "None of my family are in it, so it is not as if I am cheering for anyone in particular."

Summer stood and left her father and relatives, who were watching the joust with utter disinterest, and made her way up to the higher boxes.
"Lord Piers," she said with a curtsey, "I had no time to thank you for that dance the other evening. I'd meant to.. But I did not see you the rest of the 'eve...detained on business?" She smiled slyly.

Piers chuckled and leaned close to Myrandia to whisper, "So when ones are the best looking? I might have to have them killed." He chuckled, and then Summer approached. He listened to her, and then laughed, "I am afraid there was a misunderstanding, I only get detained for reasons of pleasure."
