"The Flints have many lands," Jon replied. "None of which are particularly close. They live in the mountains and by the sea, in the wilds and in castles. An interesting lot."

"I don't know them at all. You said they inhabit the mountains. Are they one of the Northern mountain clans then? i know there are some, but not their names."

"There are Flints all over the North," Jon replied. "Most likely brothers of the first Flints moving around and starting their own clans."

"Oh, most likely. So send your brother to them if it iwll help. I know I';d sd it. But I find it curious that your father would abandon his younger children to the care of the elder, and focus only upon one child. That hardly seems right."

Lady Ellyn Celtigar arrived with her brother-in-law Ser Jon Celtigar and her two children Bran & Becca, at the entrance to the Goldsmith's Manor. She tried not to show it, but Ellyn was stupified by the level of wealth and opulence on show. Her children were not nearly so discrete and nearly spun themselves silly trying to view everything at once. Lady Ellyn was dressed in a modest high-necked gown, crimson red for the colour of her house, with an elegant gold chain necklace formed from a series of crabs with their pincers forming the chain between them all, hung on her neck outside the gown. A more ornate king crab formed the centerpiece, with tiny rubies indented on the gold forming the shell and pincers. Though insignificant to the wealth on display at the Lannister's home, it's value was high for a minor house and obviously the lady had come dressed in her finest clothes. Bran wore a squire's doublet with his house sigil and his straw-blond hair was unusually neat and tidy. He had an onyx crab embossed on a small brooch as his only ornamentation and was obviously unused to wearing it as he kept anxiously checking to make sure it was still fastened on. Becca, by his side, wore a pale pink dress with lace around the bodice disguising the fact she had a slim build with little feminity yet blossomed. Her usually loose hair was up and elaborately styled with a series of pins holding it firmly in place and she wore a small necklace the mirror of her mother's but the king crab was enamalled red rather than encrusted with rubies. Ser Jon, by contrast, was very plainly dressed in a soldiers doublet and longsword, with knee high black leather boots and a red-bordered white cape decorated with tiny red crabs. Under one arm he carried a box with gifts for House Lannister. As they approached Lord Baldwin Lannister, Lady Ellyn gave a deep formal curtsy "Lord Baldwin, you honor us with an invitation to your feast" Lord Lannister greeted them with a small smile, "You do me honor by accepting. Welcome to my home." Servants step forward, and hand them goblets of crystal designed to represent Crabs. A paige walks them into the feast proper announcing their presence to all in the hall.

Lyonel and Lyanna, along with their escort arrive at the Lannister manse. Their father had thought it prudent that they attend, since their late mother was indeed a Lannister. "Finally, somewhere worth visiting in Kings Landing," Lyanna said as they approached. Lyanna wore a deep blue satin dress with silverwhite lining, with silver rings, bangles, necklace and earrings adorning her. She wore her hair in a tumble, a silver pin over her left ear. She wore silver heels. Behind them approaches Ser Patrek Frey, his other children on each side of him. He is dressed more exquisitely than either of his children. His dark goatee pointed down below his chin, his sharp blue eyes bright. The escort and other entourage followed shortly after. Lyonel was dressed much to the same fashion, though with high black and polished boots. He wore only rings. "May I introduce Ser Patrek of House Frey, son to Lord Rickard Frey, Lord of the Crossing. His youngest, Tytos Frey and Meradith Frey," their herald began. "My Lord of Lannister, I am most jubilant to see you again," Patrek greeted, having not seen the man since his wedding. The other children, Tytos and Meradith, simply bowed and curtsied, standing shyly at either side of Patrek. Tytos was almost a man grown now, silent and shy; though Meradith was still but a small girl, all smiles. "Ser Lyonel and Lyanna of House Frey, children to Ser Patrek Frey and Cerenna Lannister Frey," their herald continued. Lyonel gave a swift bow, while Lyanna curtsied with subtle grace. "A pleasure, Lord Baldwin," Lyanna smiled brilliantly. "At your service, Lord Baldwin," Lyonel said in step. The other handful of their entourage, the herald, and two knights bearing the Frey arms waited behind. Lord Lannister greeted them with a small smile, "You do me honor by accepting my invitation. Welcome to my home." Servants step forward, and hand them goblets of crystal designed to represent two identical boys on either side of a stream. A paige walks them into the feast proper announcing their presence to all in the hall.

Lord Harris Bolton arrives, dressed in his blackest clothes, the sigil of house Bolton on his chest. With him is his wife, wearing a grey and silver dress reminiscent of cobwebs, as well as their daughter Lyelle. The latter is wearing a pale blue dress of finest satin, cut to be modestly revealing at chest and back. At her throat is a pendant of a flayed man and from her ears dangle pink earrings in the shape of hearts. Jon Bolton arrives a few moments after his family, his tunic and breeches a darker blue. The Bolton group make their way to lord Lannister and each give him a bow or curtsy, as befitting custom. Lord Lannister greeted them with a small smile, "You do me honor by accepting my invitation. Welcome to my home." Servants step forward, and hand them goblets of crystal designed to represent a splayed man. A paige walks them into the feast proper announcing their presence to all in the hall.

Summer Snow entered the ballroom. She wore the white fur robe that she had worn for her first appearance at court. This time however, she wore it open, so that it fell upon her shoulders like a fur cloak. Beneath it was a silvery-white dress. A small stone carved with runes of the first men sat at her neck, held by the smallest of leather thongs. Escorting her was her half-brother Ramsay Flint, who'd been sent by Lord Wyman with two strict instructions. 1. Keep Summer safe. and 2. Don't say anything. She smiled as she entered, and was greeted by the Lord of Casterly Rock. "So... your Lord Baldwin..." she said with a pleasant smile, "Not at all what I expected." Lord Lannister greeted them with a small smile, "You do me honor by accepting my invitation. Welcome to my home." Servants step forward, and hand them goblets of crystal designed to represent a snarling lion. A paige walks them into the feast proper announcing their presence to all in the hall.

Summer sniffed the air around Lord Baldwin, and smiled as if she found the scent to her liking, "Milord," she said with a curtsey, as she took her gift. She wondered how much it would sell for later as she scanned the crowd, looking for the self-important and the overly-comfortable that suggested themselves as Lannister lackeys.

There were two men nearby, one an older man with grey mustaches waxed into a curly-q.
The other man was a wide man of about average height. He held a turkey leg in his hand, the he dipped into his ale before each bite.

Summer turned up her nose, and turned to her half-brother. "An interesting party is it not?" Ryk nodded, warned as he was to keep his damn mouth shut.

Summer turned up her nose, and turned to her half-brother. "An interesting party is it not?" Ryk nodded, warned as he was to keep his damn mouth shut. Ser Allard Lannister walked up to the woman, and offered her a charming smile. "My lady, welcome to our home. I am Ser Allard Lannister, and I welcome you to my home."

Lyelle Bolton had managed to get away from her parents again and, with a cup of wine in hand, wandered the party. Her eyes fell on Tomas Clegane and she approached him with a smile. "Good evening, ser." She gave him a curtsy.

Tomas eyed her, and continued to dip his turkey leg into his ale, "Evening." He looked around the room, and chewed slowly.

"You appeared a little lonely here so I thought I might say hello," Lyelle said with a winsome smile. "I am Lyelle Bolton."
