Jon chuckled. "You obviously don't know my father," He said and Lyelle nodded. "Do I know your brother, Ser?"

"No, my lady, you can't possibly know my brother," Arthur replied. "I've only the one and he has never left Dorne. "

Lyelle giggled. "You remind of someone, but who..." "Maybe the man you dream about," Jon teased with a grin, holding out a hand to Arthur. "Jon Bolton, pleased to meet you."

"Well met, Jon Bolton. And my lady."
Arthur shook the offered hand with a warm, brisk gesture. and offered Lyelle a brief smile
"Even in Dorne we've heard of House Bolton, though I'll ask your forgivness for not knowing your sigil right off. I know the Dornish ones and a fair few of the Reach and Stormlands, but not many others. You're too remote from Dorne. But I know that House Bolton is one of the Starks' major bannerhouses."

"That we are," Jon said affirmatively. "Mark Toland!" Lyelle suddenly said. "That's who you remind me of!" Jon gave her a glance but she ignored him completely.

Arthur forced himself not to smile though he wanted to. Ther ewas bad blood between himself and Mark.
"I know Ser Mark," he said coolly. I wouldn't be too interested in him if I were you, my lady. He's not worth your time."

"Oh, I think he should great interest in me," Lyelle said with a giggle and it was obvious Jon was becoming uncomfortable. "Sister, please rejoin our parents. I shall speak with Ser Arthur," Lyelle was about to object but Jon gave her a firm look and she relented. When she was gone Jon sighed. "Do excuse my sister; if what I hear is true then she antagonized my brother into injuring your... cousin? Whatever Ser Mark is to you."

"My cousin," Arthur sighed. "But we both wish there was no relation between us, bruth be told. Mark is prone to jealousy of his close kin - with reason, I admit - and he has never forgiven me for being chosen as his mother's champion. But...wait...your sister prompted your brother into attacking Mark? He said something of the kind but I thought he might be exaggerating. How did that happen?"

"My sister possesses a certain charm, as you can no doubt tell," Jon stated with an apologetic smile. "And my brother... well, her is fiercely protective of her. Especially when drunk. Add to that the fact that your cousin kissed my sister and well..." He grinned. "Now you can tell why my father was so short with you."

"Indeed. But I was not a party to my cousin's misbehaviour. I was not even in the city. Your siter invited Mark to kiss her, mayhaps?" Or did he incite your brother to kiss her in some other way?"

"You have never met a northern lord before, have you?" Jon asked with a grin. "They are prickly men, especially my father. It would not surprise me if he gave your cousin a stern talking to." His grin became darker. "Ser Mark can be glad he lives far, far away."

"Oh, but he lives here in Kings Landing, at least for now," Arthur sighed. "It might be wise for him to leave the capital, if that is the case. Poor, foolish Mark. I almost pity him. Still, your brother punished him sufficiently, did he not?"

"No doubt Brandon has already forgotten about it," Jon replied. "Though perhaps this whole thing will blow over."

"Let's hope so, for all our sakes. I hope yolu will not tar us all with the same brush. I'm nothing like Mark, I promise you. I would not dream of making eyes at your sister, or kissing her. She's very lovely and I'm sure hshe'll make a lovely bride when the time comes, but I love my own wife very uch."

"Oh, I have few things in common with my brother," Jon answered. "A name, hair colour... well, that is about it." He chuckled.
