Anya smiled, and stood. "That seems like a perfectly pleasant idea." She started moving toward a back exit to the rear courtyward, "The night air is always so cool on my skin."

Ryam caught Brandon's eye as they departed.
"Aye, a good brisk walk in the air is good for the heart, if you ask me," he said.

"That is not all that is good for the heart. The maester's say a man or woman should keep fit, and fatness and laziness lead to an early death." Anya replied. She stretched her arms wide, and high as if too embrace the cool night air. "That feels wonderful, this was a brilliant idea."

"Ah, the Wall. I deign to visit, though my boy won't stop talking about it," William smiles, pointing his thumb over to a boy of perhaps ten, sitting next to a middle aged knight with whiskers. "But certainly the North has much more wilderness to offer than the Riverlands." "Truly," Said Jon, sipping from his glass again. "I had not expected to see any none-northerners at this wedding. Makes for an interesting celebration at the least."

I would have thought myself the only southerner at the celebrations," he said, scanning his eyes across the room and across the Starks, "and I'm as north as south gets," he said raising his glass. "Though I'm sure a northern celebration does not need southerners to be interesting. I had thought we were dampening the mood," he grinned.

"The mood?" Jon asked with a grin. "Somber can only be so dull; look around. No one wants this." He pointed at the Flints, then the Dustins, then the Umbers. "Men of the mountains and the vast expanses of the North aren't exactly known as entertaining."

"Perhaps one accustomed," William noted, tipping his glass. "Though southerners will always have some interest in the rumours they hear. The nobles loves their rumours down south."

"And what rumours are those?" Lyanne asked, looking over with a raised eyebrow.

"Rumors that entertain the weak minded. That the Umbers have giants blood, and the Mountain Clans and Houses share a common breeding habit with the royal Targaryens. That no man dare poach on Bolton land," he said the last with a smirk, taking a bite out of a piece of meat.

"Such colourful tales," Jon commented, turning to his own food. "Interesting to think that rumours from the south rarely spread up here. Perhaps it is simply because we do not care." He turned to William, a slightly mocking grin on his face. "Does that make us ignorant?"

"As I said, these rumors are for the weak minded. Southern nobles are often fat, happy, and rich. They must gossip of something to pass the time," William shrugged. "I hear much at the Twins, with all the mouths passing through."

Jon chuckled. "See, now there is a certain amount of gossip that entertains those more North. Wildlings this, giants that, monsters and creepers from beyond the Wall." He tore off some bread and pointed it at his bastard cousin. "Benjen here would tell you it's all true."

"All true Northerners embrace a good cool night." Ryam said, "Its only them fool southerners who can't tell the difference between pleasantly cool, and bloody frozen." "I agree. These southern men are barely men at all." Anya replied, "More like girls in mail shirts."

Ryam chuckled, "Yer a true daughter of the North Lady Anya." he said, "Makes a man wonder why you'd see your sister married to a Reaver. I'd a thought you'd have twisted Lord Benjen's ear until he disposed of that notion."
