"And what of the wildlings?" Jon asked, his smile akin to that of William. "Though I do agree," He added, looking back over at Horas. "It's like kicking a man while he's already down. Or in this case, an entire room."

William followed his eyes. "It would do them well to remember that men return to their feet. I have no doubt some lessons need being taught." He considered them a moment longer before turning to the Bolton.
"I am William, of House Frey, son of Lord Rickard."

"I do not think the Lannisters take lessons from Freys," Jon replied, taking a sip of wine before he turned to William. "Jon, second son to lord Harri Bolton."

William chuckled. Two second sons, then.
"Mayhaps," he replied. "Though times of peace are not the time for strife and conflict. They are the time of finding friends." He regarded Jon quizzically.

"And here some would say friends are needed more in war than in peace," Jon answered with a shrug. "And what forges friendship better than a good, bloody battle?" He chuckled.

"That is precisely why one seeks friends in times of peace. They are far most costly to gain in times of war," he noted.

Jon looked at William and smiled, his gaze searching. "Jon, if you're going to be like that with everyone we meet then I'm going back home," Lyanne said from next to her brother. "You must excuse my sister," Jon said to William, his tone apologetic. "She is a little... wild, you see."

"She speaks her mind, much like my niece, Lyanna," he chuckled, tilting his head. "No... you are correct. She is far more wild. Perhaps akin to my brother, Garlan."

"Don't listen to my brother, he's an idiot," Lyanne said with a snort, to which Jon shook his head, grinning. "Look at the impression you are giving house Frey of us," He said, his voice half joking half chiding. "But while we are on the topic, if you want real wild then look no further than Benjen." He pointed to his bastard cousin, who sat with a straight back, his eyes taking in the whole room. "He's even been on a ranging above the Wall!"

"Ah, the Wall. I deign to visit, though my boy won't stop talking about it," William smiles, pointing his thumb over to a boy of perhaps ten, sitting next to a middle aged knight with whiskers.
"But certainly the North has much more wilderness to offer than the Riverlands."

Brandon takes the hand of Lord Dustin and shakes it, "And to you Lord Dustin. How faired your journey north?" Mors smiled. "Well enough, well enough. I had the opportunity to come north with my cousin, one of the Flints crowding the hall. Lord Benjen Flint of Flint's Finger." His smile faded a bit, "I seem to hear about trouble with wildlings?" Lady Bethany Dustin nee Blackwood waited for the attention being paid her great cousin to fade before making her way to greet him.

Anya smile tightens, "As soon as I find a man as worthy as my brother." "Aye, now there's a tricky thing to answer. I disagree, and you may take it as a slight on his lordship, and if I agree, You'll curse me fer dooming ya to a life of celibacy." Ryam said.

Ryam bowed his head, "Too quick-witted for the likes of me," He nodded fervently. "Nice thing this here wedding party attracted so many high and mighty from down South." He smiled, "Enough to keep a lady like yourself entertained, not like us Mountain dullards."

Anya raised an eyebrow, "I had not noticed. I am afraid you were far too entertaining a distraction." Her eyes twinkled in the light of the torches for just a moment.
