Theodore was born in Drumm Hall on a clear sunny day, his father Orillion was away in King's Landing at the time. He got back though and immediately gave his son a miniture wooden sword to have, even though he couldn't do anything but whine, cry, and shit himself all day. Over time he was given heavier and heavier swords and he grew better and better.
He had a typical Iron Born life and spent his time training, training, eating, growing, and training for a time when he was going to go to battle. He started out on Lord Saltcliffes skiff at age 12 as a cup barrer and all around servant. When he first saw battle is was in the middle of an ice storm at a Western camp near the Banefort.
He hid in the back until a wounded man came near, he suddenly jumped from his hiding place and plunged his sword into the mans neck, dropping him instantly. With his blood up he ran into battle, and got knocked out.
As he grew older he began having strange dreams which he took as nightmares. As his father shipped out to lead the strike force to the Salt Shores he had a bad feeling. He wanted to go but they said he was too young and so he just spent his time training.
One night he had another of those nightmares, this time where he was grown up and was with his father at the Salt Shores. He watched helplessly as hundreds of the undead came shuffling and crawling towards the fort that he was in. He watched as his father fought valiently until he came across a direwolf. He fought it till his dying breath, burying Red Rain up to the hilt in the thing before succumbing to the hordes of wights.
He awoke suddenly drenched in sweat, it was just a dream there was no way his father died, he was invincible right. His father had truly died, in just the way he say it, he told no one of the dream just waited for news to arrive hoping he was still alive.
When he finally got the chance to fight it was with Selwyn's army, he helped push back the hordes at Rosby, Duskendale, Maidenpool, Fairmarket, Seagard, all the way through the neck, which was hell. There was countless battles, all against hordes of the undying, he watched as friends were cut down and then turned against there living former comrades. It became a blur until finally he arrived at the wall. When he arrived he was finally head of a band of surviving Ironborn, mainly from Old Wyk, Saltcliffe, Blacktyde, and Harlaw. All the while he kept having those dreams which he started to interpret as some sort of way to tell the future, he learned of the Old Gods and converted to the Northern faith.
The place was a mess, parts had crumbled and there was giant holes in the once solid mass of stone and ice. By this time he had turned into a battle hardened veteran, more ornery then then the usual Iron born, especially after the hell he and the rest had gone through.
Character Physical Description: He is over six and a half feet tall, just like his father and his brothers. He has black hair and a black beard which he keeps tamed. He ways about 250 pounds of pure muscle with broad shoulders and bluish eyes.
Character Reputation: Known to be quiet but when he speaks its usually in a gruff manner. Known to be a great sea commander and an expert swordsmen, destroying enemies left and right with Red Rain. First Character Name: Lord Simon Tarly Character Age: 23 (b. 548) Character Nationality: Andal (Reachman) Character Skills:Legendary Battle Commander Grandmaster Swordsman (Greatsword) Master Horseman (Riding) Master Lancer Expert Leader Expert Tracker Noteworthy Faith (the Seven) Noteworthy Falconer Noteworthy Intrigue Apprentice Unarmed Fighter Novice Steward Novice Languages (High Valyrian) Beginner Archer (Longbow) Beginner Charm Character Personal History: Simon Tarly was born in the summer of 548, almost two years to the day after his grandfather was killed in the Trial of Seven that ended the Rabble's Rebellion, as the war had come to be known in the years since. He was his father's second son; the middle child for his brother Brandon was born two years later. He was raised for the first four years of his life in King's Landing, not seeing his family's fortress at Horn Hill until King Rodrick Baratheon allowed his lords to depart the capital, having forced them to remain at his court for nearly five full years. While his brother Justin was obviously the favored child, being his father's heir and by far the most clever of his brothers, Simon found a special place in his father's heart as he proved to be an adept warrior and quick to grasp the intricacies of tactics and strategy. His martial nature allowed him to bond with his father Samuel and the middle years of his childhood were spent in bliss in the Far Reach. Simon had a close relationship with his younger brother, Bran, although the pair grew apart slightly when Simon was sent to Oldtown to squire under Lord Robert Hightower. He earned his spurs at Robert's wedding tournament in 564, and returned to Horn Hill to serve his father and brother as a dutiful second son would. By this time, the realm had spent four years in the depths of winter, while the King drank himself into a stupor and the malcontent notions that had led to the Rabble's Rebellion were beginning to be resurrected in the minds of his lords. Before these notions could materialize into treason, disaster struck the North. An invasion of the dead shattered the Night's Watch at the Wall, and began to move south preceded by rumors and speculation. The Hand had been ruling the realm in all but name for seven years and when dozens of warriors and generals, including Simon's father Lord Samuel, were murdered in their beds in 567, along with the King and Queen and most of their children, and Thatcher remained firmly in control of the crownlands and claimed that the invasion that was ravaging the north was merely malcontent rumors. He declared the West as open traitors, and the Reach watched from afar as the Mandermen and Riverlands brutally put down the purported rebellion. By the time Thatcher was exposed as a member of the Cult of the Dead God and the new King fled from his assassins, the whole realm was in turmoil. Simon's brother, Justin, had assumed the lordship of Horn Hill, and since nearly all of the Great Lords of the Reach had been assassinated by the cult, he rallied the remaining Houses of the Reach and called their banners to Horn Hill. As xenophobic as ever, the armies of the Reach were reluctant to join with the meager forces of King Selwyn, until they learned that he had been cornered at Goldengrove by the armies of the Others. The Far Reach armies marched north arriving at Goldengrove in time to join Selwyn in battle, until Lord Justin Tarly was killed. Since he had died childless, the Lordship of Horn Hill passed to Simon, who attempted to rally his countrymen before their forces were thrown back by the might of the dead. Salvation arrived soon after, in the form of five Targaryen women and three dragons, who obliterated the Others with dragonfire and accepted the homage of King Selwyn, who saw that he had no choice but to kneel. The Lords of the Reach followed suit, silently chafing under the obvious preference that the Targaryens showered on the Dornish. Under Saella the armies of Westeros were united and fought for three bloody years as they pushed north eventually throwing the others back beyond the Wall itself. Three years spent in the saddle surrounded by blood and death had changed Simon from a hopeful and ambitious young man into a grim soldier, still idealistic at heart, but his faith in honor and chivalry had been irrevocably shaken. Character Physical Description: Lord Simon is the spitting image of his father, Samuel Tarly, with tangled brown hair falling to his shoulders. His eyes are a dark brown, almost black, shadowed under a heavy brow. High pronounced cheekbones give Simon a somewhat regal bearing and he wears a beard, though he tends to keep it neatly trimmed although having been on campaign for several years he has not generally had access to servants or a barber. He is of an average height, standing about six feet, and built heavily as most men who spend their lives training for battle are. His favored weapon is the Greatsword of his House, Heartsbane, which he inherited with his lordship in the Battle of Goldengrove. Character Reputation: Those who know Simon from childhood would say he was a cunning trickster, quick to laugh and always ready to play practical jokes on those around him, however this description is not even close to accurate, since the death of his older brother. The survivors from the Battle at the Wall know Simon as a deadly competent warrior, a fantastic commander of soldiers, and a grim, mostly silent man. He is known widely for his candor, and his willingness to speak the truth regardless of tact or circumstances, as well as for his fiery temper that can be ignited at a moment's notice. He is prone to destructive rages when he dwells too long on the injustices that seem to surround all honorable men, but he wisely does his best to keep these outbursts away from prying eyes. He is deeply religious, in his devotion to the Seven, and was known as a powerful tourney jouster and horseman, before war broke out. Followers Ser Brandon TarlyCharacter Age: 21, b. 550 Character Nationality: Andal (Reachman) Character Personal History: The third and youngest son of the Lord of Horn Hill, Bran grew up overshadowed by both of his brothers. He was neither as cunning and wise as Justin, nor was he as powerful a warrior as Simon, so the youngest Tarly son had to carve out his own place in the world. He point blank refused to become a Maester at the Citadel when his mother broached the subject at his ninth name-day, and from that day forth he was the family's Black Sheep, so to speak. He squired for one of his father's household knights and, though he never progressed beyond a middling skill with a blade. He scorned hand-to-hand combat, preferring to practice his archery at the fortresses butts, and by age fifteen he was winning tournaments all across the Reach. When his father was murdered, Bran rode to war with his brothers, following Justin and then Simon all the way north to the Wall before the battles were over. The gruesome things that he witnessed in combat did little to daunt his carefree and joking nature and he still remains a trickster who excels at making others laugh, even under the grimmest of circumstances. It is rumored among the soldiers of the Far Reach that Bran could shoot a sparrow out of the air, from a hundred yards away, and he has long since been betrothed to a daughter of House Hightower, who lived at Horn Hill as a child ward. Character Physical Description: Bran is a man of average height, standing a few inches shorter than his brother Simon, with coal black hair that he keeps closely cropped. His eyes are a startling green, which surprised both of his parents as neither of them had ancestors possessing that trait. Ser Danwell CostayneCharacter Age: 40, b. 531 Character Nationality: Andal (Reachman) Character Personal History: Ser Danwell Costayne was born of a minor branch of his family's House, so after earning his spurs he entered the service of Lord Samuel Tarly as the Master-of-Horse in Horn Hill. He is a decent warrior, but a fantastic horseman and likes to boast that Lord Simon Tarly's skills on horseback are due solely to his tutelage, which is not an entirely untrue statement. When he rode north with Lord Tarly it was discovered that he was a great scout, so his abilities were relied on heavily by his superiors and more than once saved the Far Reach army from being flanked by a subversive attack. Character Physical Description: Danwell is an uncommonly tall man, standing almost seven feet tall, but he is stick-thin and his skin has the brown weathered look of a man who spends much of his time outside being exposed to the elements. Ser Peytr RedwyneCharacter Age: 23, b. 548 Character Nationality: Andal (Reachman) Character Personal History: Peytr was born the second son of his father, Lord Paxter Redwyne, the greatest admiral in the Reach. He was born within a week of his cousin, Simon Tarly, whose mother was sister to Lord Paxter. While his older brother was taught the ways of seaborne command, Peytr was sent to Horn Hill to be fostered at a young age, where he would eventually be trained in the ways of the sword. He squired for Lord Samuel Tarly and was raised very close with Simon. Petyr returned to the Arbor after earning his spurs in Lord Robert Hightower's wedding tournament in 564 and spent the next three years studying the ways of the sea under his father and brother. He proved to be a fantastic sailor and navigator, and had the showings of being a great sea commander, albeit being a young and headstrong man. He is not quite his brother's equal at commanding a ship, but he is a far better swordsman, and jouster. When their father was murdered in 567, Peytr's older brother assumed the Lordship, as well as command of the Flagship of the Arbor Fleet, the Grapes of Wrath. Peytr commands a beautiful warship called the Valkyrie that was captured from a westerman during the Blackwood wars in 522, but the fantastic design of the vessel has remained true over the years. Four ballistae are mounted on rotating platforms, allowing each of them to fire meter-long steel lances in any direction Character Physical Description: Peytr is a tall man, standing well over six feet, with auburn hair that falls in lazy curls down to his shoulders. His eyes are a salty grey and he has a thin scar running down from the corner of his left eye, to his upper lip, the legacy of a thwarted pirate attack in 566. Ser Ryam FlowersCharacter Age: 44, b. 527 Character Nationality: Andal (Reachman) Character Personal History: Ryam was born under very strange circumstances. His father was never known to him or anyone else, and his mother died shortly after his birth very suspiciously. She was in training to become a septa in King's Landing when she became pregnant, and when Ryam was born she sent him to be raised at her family's estate in the Far Reach. House Hutcheson was a minor knightly house, sworn to Stoatsheart, and his mother was found dead in King's Landing several months later. She never told anyone who the father was, and Ryam's uncle Ser Radek was killed by Lannister troops while investigating her death. When he was raised as a page in that household, although he looked like no other reachman, with golden hair and blue eyes. He squired for Lord Cyrus Varner, showing decent skill with the sword, but far better skills in the areas of information gathering and moving around unnoticed. He was knighted by Lord Samuel Tarly shortly before the Trial of Seven, where Cyrus Varner was killed, and so he has served the Lord of Horn Hill since. When Lord Samuel Tarly was murdered, Ser Ryam began serving his sons just as faithfully, and marched north with the Far Reach host in response to the invasion from the North. Character Physical Description: He looks very unlike a reachman, with golden hair that he keeps relatively short, and light piercing blue eyes. He is an average height and build, decently muscled from training at arms but not as heavily built as most knights who devote their lives to physical fitness. His hair has begun to turn silver with age, though he still remains in good shape, with a strong lithe build. Lord Jaymes Hightower Character Age: 14, b. 557 d. 571 Character Nationality: Andal (Reachman) Character Personal History: Jaymes Hightower was sent by his uncle to squire for Simon Tarly only four months before war broke out across the realm of Westeros. In the ensuing battles, thousands of men died and were resurrected by the invading forces of Death, and all of Jaymes' kin were killed in battle. His uncle Pedric, who had assumed the Lordship of the Far Reach, died with his three bastard sons in the shadow of the Wall, cut down the corpse of Jaymes' own father, who had died several weeks before. It was a long time before the chaos died down, and Jaymes realized that he was the last remaining scion of his House. He has remained the squire to Simon Tarly, and saw only a little combat in the north, though he acquitted himself well for a green, untried youth. Character Physical Description: Jaymes is rather small for his age, but gangly, with a mousey looking face and a pointed chin. At fourteen he is growing quickly, but still is rather clumsy and has a tendency to get tongue tied when trying to speak in front of more than one person at a time.Killed by wildlings at their camp south of the Wall

Euric was born to Arys Sand and Myryana of Mereen. For the first few years of his life he was brought up in Braavos, but then his parents made an obscure journey south, where soon they entered the continent of Sothorys. Here it was that the Targaryens had made their home and it would be the perfect place for Euric to bloom into a great young man. However, he proved a little inept at first, preferring to read books than stand sweating in the yard, but this all changed on a fateful day. Euric, at the time twelve, had set his eyes on a lovely young lady he had seen and desperately wanted to make the girl know about his feelings. He spotted her in the yard one day and approached her, a nervous smile on his face. That moment however one of the younger and more brutish soldiers in training decided he should get the prize, punched Euric in the mouth and tried to take the girl by force. That was the moment when all was decided for the young Sand; with a power he didn't know he had he wrenched the soldier from the girl and gave him such a hard beating that the master of arms had to pull Euric off the boy.
From that day on Euric spent every day in the yard, honing his skills as best as he could, and he soon proved to be an exceptional young talent. To his further luck, the girl he had saved had been none other than one of the Targaryen twins and so Euric was proclaimed a hero and allowed to meet with the girl and Saella Targaryen. Though no love blossomed between the two young ones, Saella told Euric he was allowed to ask her for one thing and she could not turn it down. That, Euric said, was that he would wish to go by his real name, his grandfather Beric's name; Dayne. Saella made it so and this spurned Euric on even more to be the best he could. When the time came for the armies to march to Westeros, Euric was ready; he was merely seventeen but he already proved to be an exceptional swordsman, as well as having a knack for commanding people.
7) Character Physical Description:
Euric is tall and lean, standing at about 6'1'', and he has almost shoulderlength silver hair. He has a very handsome face, though the effects of war can be seen in his Lavender and Gold speckled eyes, which burn with a mixture of rage and passion, when they are not calm as the sea.
8) Character Reputation:
In the Targaryen camp Euric is known as an amazingly talented swordsman and commander, famous also for his by-name after he searched for and retrieved Dawn, the sword of his family. Among the Westerosian survivors he is also well known, a tall figure in black that battles with a shining white blade.

1) Character Name: Corwyn Storm
2) Character Age: 23 (548)
3) Character Nationality: Stormlands
4) Character Byname: None
5) Characters Skills:
Master: Intrigue Expert: Small blades Noteworthy: Tracking Apprentice: Survival (woods) Apprentice: Charm Apprentice: Greendreams Novice: Scouting Beginner: Longbow Beginner: High Harp
6) Character Personal History:
Corwyn was born the son of some minor Stormlands lord and spent much of his childhood in the wild, living for times in the forest and generally being one with nature. This changed when his father got the idea to try and get Corwyn legitimized, teaching him the ways of court, which the boy found terribly boring. He did discover a love for cities however and traveled ostentatiously from one to another, meeting the more important people of the underground as well as some minor nobility.
A few weeks before his father wanted to send his request to the king, the chaos started; Rodrick was murdered and in the ensuing rebellion, Corwyn's father perished too as he tried to drive bandits from his lands. Corwyn decided to hide out in the woods, but was somehow caught up with the general flux of soldiers marching north. Somewhere along the neck he found himself in the companion of an eastern knight named Euric Dayne, and after a minor incident between the two that involved a tree trunk, two stones and a lot of ale, the two became fast friends.

Corwyn is a handsome man of five foot nine, with longish black hair and moss green eyes. He is lithe but athletic and has known the bed of quite a few women, nobility included.
9) Character Reputation:
Among his former family and their people he was mistrusted as he believed in the ways of the Old Gods. City folk in King's Landing, White Harbour and Oldtown however recognize him as that charming young fellow who can be found in the local tavern.
9) Followers:
Garion Koh Character Age: 27 (544) Character Nationality: Free Cities Character Personal History: Garion is one of the many sons of Zarztahn Koh, a formerly somewhat renowned sellsword who had ridden with both Beric Dayne and his son Arys. Being the closest to Euric's age when he was born, Zarztahn decided to send Garion along with the boy when he and his father journeyed to Sothorys. Garion enjoyed growing up alongside Euric, helping him out with the little bit of wisdom he had, and becoming a close friend to him. Character Physical Description: Garion stands at around 5'8'', with long black hair that sprouts numerous dreadlocks and beads. He is relatively muscled, preferring the use of an axe to other weapons. He isn't the most handsome man, with a hooked nose and dull grey eyes, and he is never cleanly shaven.
Klamantle Character Age: 41 (born 530) Character Nationality: Westerosi Character Personal History: A bizarre man that Euric picked up somewhere on the way to Westeros. He claims to have been a maester once and has at times impressed with knowledge, but mostly he spouts insane gibberish. Character Physical Description: Mid-length frizzled black hair and large amber eyes are set upon the lined face of this six foot tall man. He mostly wears a 'brown' robe that smells like it hasn't been washed in a long time and his scraggly beard does nothing to suggest otherwise.
Bree Delayn Character Age: 22 (born 549) Character Nationality: Free Cities Character Personal History: This eastern beauty has a peculiar history of being part Westerosi and growing up with Qohorik's, Dothraki and Summer Islanders. She adapted the skill of wielding two arakh's and is also a fair rider. She joined Euric's group as a sellsword and has until now not left. Character Physical Description: With an exotic body and a beautiful face, Bree has the bright Westerosi skin and facial features but the eastern body. No matter her looks she is nevertheless proficient at melee combat. She is around five and a half feet tall, with long straight hazel hair that she sometimes wears completely braided and sea blue eyes.
Cazhio Character Age: 19 (born 552) Character Nationality: Braavosi Character Personal History: Cazhio, son of Morho, grew up with his father and in Braavos. The duelist had left the services of Arys Sand to pursue his love of women, which eventually brought him on to a blade. Cazhio nevertheless picked up his father's sword and learned the way of the waterdancer, whilst also showing skill with the crossbow. It was through complete coincidence that he joined up with a woman named Bree, whom he was at the time pursuing, which eventually brought him to his father's friends child, Euric. Once the two found out their connection they soon became fast friends on the journey over to Westeros and during the campaign. Character Physical Description: Cazhio is a tall and handsome man, with tan skin, black and wild short hair and piercing black eyes. He appears skinny but his quite strong and lightning fast with the waterdancer's sword.
Walther Greenstone Character Age: 18 (born 553) Character Nationality: Stormlands/Crownlands Character Personal History: Walther was the fourth son and final child of Lord Darien and Asha Greenstone. He was raised at Stonedance and spent five years in his youth as a ward at Duskendale. When the war came he was still green but joined up anyway, wanting to make his father proud. Seeing his siblings, their children and eventually his father die in the campaign and the final battle disturbed the young man so much that he blindly wandered across the battlefield, almost being slain until Euric Dayne rescued him. Since that moment Walther has decided he will tag along with this man, in desperate need of a strong anchor he could hold to. Character Physical Description: Walther has his fathers black hair and blue eyes but his mother's wild looks, having always been a little bit of an outsider. He is relatively tall and prefers the sword over any other weapon.

1) Character Name: Ser Vincent Darry 2) Character Age: 39 (b. 532) 3) Character Nationality: The Riverlands 4) Character Byname: Vicious Vinny 5) Character Skills: Grandmaster - Battle Master - Battle Axe Master - Lance Expert - Endurance Expert - Leadership Noteworthy - Intimidation Noteworthy - Unarmed Combat Apprentice - Drinking Apprentice - Horsemanship Novice - Torture Novice - Seamanship 6) Character's Second:Ser Leonard of the Trident b. 535 (age 36) Noteworthy - Flail Noteworthy - Unarmed Combat Apprentice - Drinking Apprentice - Intimidation Novice - Endurance Novice - Scouting Beginner - Torture Beginner - Horsemanship As ugly as he is mean, Ser Leonard is a commonborn man who was raised to knighthood by Lord Desmond Darry after he won a bareknuckle fighting competition held for his Lordship's amusement - a competition in which he had half of his left ear chewed off. This was to be a fair swap however, as he was given custodianship of his own tower overlooking the trident, charged with helping keep the peace in the Darry lands. Over the years he has grown friendly with Ser Vincent - the two seem to have much in common. 7) Character Personal History: Second son of Lord Desmond 'the babykiller' Darry, the Legendary general, Ser Vincent is very much his father's son. Brought up harshly by his father, his mother's influence was weak - she being fat, timid and plain and afraid to stand up to her husband. As a result, Vincent grew into a very poorly adjusted young man who seems to take pleasure in suffering and probably doesn't understand the concept of kindness. This is not to say that he is unintelligent, as he seems to possess his own form of low cunning. Vincent's first experience of battle came in the battles in Harrenhal's shadow of 546, where Vincent, aged 14, squired for Ser Walter Mooton - a man eventually killed in the fighting of the second battle. Vincent learnt a lot during these skirmishes, but chiefly he learnt two things - how easy it is to kill a man, and how one turns his cloak - his father being a master proponent of the art after defecting to King Rodrick's cause. Vincent spent the next couple of decades in the lifestyle that suited him - one of selfish pleasures and cruelty. He served his father up til his death in 555, and then served his elder brother just as happily from then on. Lordship would not have suited Vincent, for it would have held too much responsibility, with little enough opportunity for the things in life he had come to enjoy - fighting, whoring and generally being a destructive force. The issue of a wife for Vincent has never been raised, and nor is it likely too - it being neither neccessary nor a good idea. Vincent has been made aware that he has fathered bastards, however he could not care less. It has even been rumoured that he brutally killed one mother who came begging to him, although this has never been proven. Come the final campaign against the others at the long-winter's end, Vincent was serving loosely with his brother's forces. This apocalyptic scene was almost paradise for him - blood and brutality whenever he wanted it. On the march north his brother went missing suspiciously, and without too many questions being asked, Vincent assumed control of the Darry troops present within King Selwyn's force. 8) Character Physical Description: A short man (5"7') who packs a mean punch, this bald knight has a face built for scowling menacingly. He is most often dressed in studded leather and roughspun wool, generally having no time for what he would regard as 'poncing around'. 9) Character Reputation: A cruel bastard. He is known for horrible mistreatment of peasants and face-to-face mockery of some of the politer classes. His level of strength and endurance are unquestionable however and he fought well in the final campaign against the Others. Many regard him with distrust however, with it being widely believed that he is responsible for his brother's (Lord Darry's) disappearance. 10) Followers:

This sheet is only for characters who fought in the Last Campaign, and Battle.
You must fill out the following information:
1) Character Name: Borcas Redwyne
2) Character Age: 20( b. 551)
3) Character Nationality: The Far Reach in some sense.
4) Character Byname: The Mounted Dread
5) Character Skills:
Legendary: Battle Command Cavalry Grandmaster: Swordsmanship( Arakh) Master: Composite Bow Master: Leadership Expert: Horsemanship Expert: Raiding Noteworthy: Lance Noteworthy: Intrigue Apprentice: Poison Apprentice: Persuasion Novice: Drinking Novice: Scouting Beginner: Trading Beginner: Languages
6) Character's Second:
Name: Ser Aethan Hill
Age: 26( b. 546)
Nationality: The West
Skills:
Master: Swordsmanship Noteworthy: Oration Noteworthy: Battle Command Siege Apprentice: Lance Apprentice: Unarmed Fighting Novice: Dancing Novice: Seduction Beginner: Drinking Beginner: Lute playing
Personal History: Aethan was born under the rule or Rodrick Baratheon, the third son of a family of commoners at Lannisport. His father was one of the Redcloacks, so when Aethan was 7 he managed to send him away as a squire to some hedge knight at the service of the Lannisters. Since his father was not exactly caring, more often than not drunk and violent, Aethan was grateful that he went away. He spent the next years serving the old Ser Ambrode of Stony Sept, gaining skill at arms, but his training was of course incomplete, as a squire of a hedge knight. Finally, at some minor skirmish, Ser Ambrode was fatally wounded, although thankfully, he didn't die then and there, having the time to make Aethan a Ser. After that, Aethan served many minor lords, styling himself Ser Aethan Hill, as he found that the sound of Hill after Ser Aethan offered him better chances being accepted as a sworn sword than a simple Ser.
He was of course always vague about his parentage, knowing full well that if he claimed a certain lord or noble as his father, his lie would soon be exposed. He had his first share of a real fight when Thadeus declared war on the West. He performed himself well, but it was his luck rather than his skill that kept him alive. Then, everything changed, as the Others invaded Westeros and Saella landed on Dorne to oppose them. Aethan joined Selwyn at start, but when they met the forces of Targaryens, he pledged his sword to them, sensing that they were Westeros' best hope to drive back the walking dead. While on campaign he met Borcas and served under him for almost the whole length of the war, learning from him as much as from the difficulties he faced. When finally the last battle ended, Aethan was one of the very few that survived from Borcas' warband. He decided to stay with him, even at peacetime, out of his respect for him and their friendship.
Physical Appearance: Aethan is strong, but not very muscled, slim and graceful in his movements. However, his features are rather ugly, with a hooked nose and some broken teeth, not to mention a great scar the extends all the way from his forehead to the left of his chin, running through his left eye, which is blind, a courtesy of a fight with Wights. He is clean shaven with short brown hair.
Character Reputation: He is one of the few veterans of the Last Campaign, noted for his prowess with the sword and as a decent commander of men.
7) Character Personal History: Borcas was the only child of Alexander Redwyne, but he never met his mother, since she died on childbirth. After serving Lord Baxter for a brief time, Alexander made his way to King's Landing. His skill at espionage there convinced him that the Death Cult was up to no good, and Alexander chose to not stay to find out what exactly they were. He left for Essos again and there it was that Borcas was born. Alexander remembered his early mentor, Yago, so he moved to Qohor, where the Dothrakis were always near. He served the city for some years, while Borcas was growing up. Finally, after a while, they joined one of the mightiest Khalasars of the Dothraki Sea.
Borcas was about twelve now, and the harsh life of the Dothrakis greatly boost his potential. As the years passed by, he became well respected by the whole Khalasar for both his prowess and skill at commanding. He grew high at the ranks of the Khalasar, becoming one of the most trusted Kos of the Khal. He was about sixteen, though, when Alexander died on a battle and Borcas, shocked by the loss of the only man that he knew as family, decided to leave. He became a mercenary at start, forming a company of Dothraki cavalry, living for a few years at the Free Cities, honing his civil skills as well as his military, when he heard that a Targaryen queen in Sothoryos was mustering forces for some unknown purpose. Convinced that she was returning to Westeros, the homeland of his House, Borcas decided to lead his company there, longing to find out more about the lands his father talked often about.
He presented himself to Queen Saella and entered her service, but of his company of more than a hundred cavalrymen, only half managed to survive the trip to Dorne. Then it was that Borcas faced the greatest challenge in his life. His troops were terrified by the sight of the walking dead, but Borcas did not flinch at the sight of any enemy ever, and he was not going to, not even now. He led his cavalry with an iron determination and on the march north he was a demon on saddle. He never took a chance while the army was passing through the territory held by the cult, burning everything in his path. His fearless command earned him the byname of "The Mounted Dread" as foes and friends alike were astonished by what he could accomplish, making his charges more of a brutal and bloody sort of art, than a battle.
He followed Saella and her daughters far north, to the valley of the last battle, where almost all of his force was wiped out, but not without glory. He fought valiantly and with unswerving courage, and his Dothrakis followed him without falling back. He grew to respect Saella and her daughters while campaigning, and he truly believes that after her death, Rhaenys is the rightful queen.
8) Character Physical Description: Borcas is well build, a towering brute of a man, standing at 6'8" with a large chest and muscled. His skin has a slight copper color, a gift of the life at the Dothraki Sea. He keeps his hair long, a sign of his many victories, and has many a bell in his topknot. He also wears a black mustache, thick and long.
9) Character Reputation: He has a reputation for skill unmatched as a cavalry general and a great swordsman.
10) Followers:
Iggo: One of the handful of Dothrakis that survived the Last Battle, Iggo was a Kos at his own right along with Borcas. He is at the same age exactly and the two of them were good friends. Almost brothers, one could say, as he and Borcas shared everything. After the death of Alexander, Iggo made his choice, a choice probably with no precedence in the Dothraki history. When his friend left the Khalasar, Iggo followed him. What he did was not only extraordinary, but something that any of his kin would probably think a weakness. Iggo proved that was not so. He was the First Lieutenant of Borcas' warband, a Kos in some sense, as half the company was his to lead. And he led them with a magnificent skill at scouting and ambushing, being often the eyes and ears of Borcas on a campaign. They became so close as if with a blood bond and each would give his life for the other at any rate. Despite the natural Dothraki fear of the Supernatural, he didn't even think to not follow his friend against the threat of the Others. Iggo's prowess and skill at riding is remarkable and his blade is almost a match even for Borcas.
Jhaqo: Jhaqo is the second of the Dothrakis that survived the Last Battle, an outcast by his Khalasar, due to a deformed leg. He is the Bow, because even as that he can be a good rider and he has an aim that is truer while on moving horse, than many archers standing on solid ground. He joined Borcas while he was serving the Free Cities at their small scale wars. He is fiercely loyal to him, because only his Captain believed in his ability with a bow and the while the other Dothrakis were arguing against him, Borcas stood up and said that as long as he is the Khal of the warband, he is the one to take decisions the rest must either follow or dare to challenge him. Needless to say that everybody cowered back. As the time passed, his skill was proved to all and he was accepted to their ranks as an equal and everybody liked his merry company and care free attitude. Much of this was lost during the Last Campaign and Battle, as none could hope to emerge unscathed from a war against the Others, in body or mood, but he still is a jollier fellow than most veterans of this war.
Moro: He is the third and the last of Borcas' warband that survived. He is the Whip, a versatile weapon which he uses with skill. He was one of the last to join the Redwyne's force, just before he left for Sothoryos. He is a mysterious man, keeping mostly to himself, not boasting for victories, and even though he has bested many a foe, he keeps his hair short, for a reason nobody ever discovered. That made the other Dothrakis to scorn him at first, but after he broke an arm in a brawl and nearly strangled another with his whip, they started to respect him. He is an agile and talented rider, often circling around his enemies, dealing hard blows and falling them one by one.

He worked hard for his knighthood. Later on the Sothorys island he caught the attention of the youngest Targaryen princess by defeating three distinguished soldiers in her name (at the same time). They've been quite close ever since. Joseff somewhat likes Alysanne, but is also aware that he is just a bastard. Character's Physical Description: 5'9 tall, fit and muscular, Joseff has dirty blonde hair and different coloured eyes that make most of the people mistrustful towards him. Ariadne Martell Character's Age: 15 (b.556) Character's Nationality: Dornish Character's Personal History: Ariadne is the fourth descendant of Prince Horas Martell and Princess Jennelynn Martell. She has long brown curly hair and dark glistering eyes. Loves to wear low-cut dresses.
Ser Gallagher Royce Character's Age: 42 (b. 529) Character's Nationality: Vale Character's Personal History: Ser Gallagher was born to a lesser branch of house Royce with no possible way to inherit anything so he decided to find and serve who he thought was their rightful king. He showed himself as a skilled swordsman and Saella Targaryen appointed him as Alysanne's bodyguard some time ago. Character's Physical Description: Big, stout and strong, Gallagher has a thick mop of grey-brown hair along with grey bright eyes. He has a decent beard covering some nasty battle scars.

Oswell was the bigger of the twins, and the faster learner.
After Oswell earned his knighthood, his father took sick and died. After his brother Jon assumed the lordship Oswell thought to take a place among his army and was given a small detachment of men to defend Riverrun. When the Others descended upon the Seven Kingdoms Oswell fought with all he had, to defend the keep. But despite his best efforts Riverrun was taken and Oswell fled with what remained of their army along with his two brothers.
Oswell's brother Jon took a wound during their escape, a wound that festered and slowly took his life. Brandon took up the lordship and rallied their banners as the Others were pushed back toward the wall. Oswell fought well beside his brother, leading men into the hordes of wights time and again. When it looked as if victory was finally theirs, and all would be well, Brandon took a wound from an Other's blade, leaving a deep gash across his chest. Oswell left his brother behind while he fought to drive the Others back over the Wall and beyond, and returned to care for his brother only to watch on helplessly as he died. Ser James Rivers Age: 27 Nationality: Riverlands Character's Personal History: James grew up the bastard son of some lord's son and a maid working in Riverrun. When the Others attacked, James served under Oswell Tully, and fought alongside him all the way up to the wall. Character Physical Description: Cleos stands a tall six foot four, easily picked from a crowd by his barrel chest and booming laugh. Cleos shaves his head, stating that hair only slows him down. He never had a liking for swords or axes, instead he found himself drawn to the music of the castle minstrels. His father had expected him to keep follow along with his trade, and so Jory was forced to keep his passion a secret lest he be sent away. When he turned fifteen, Jory decided that he had saved enough money to travel and show the world his skill with music. He traveled all through the Riverlands, playing for the Lord Tully himself. Jory was caught at Riverrun when it was overtaken, and was forced to flee with what remained of the castle's defenders. He traveled with the army as they advanced North, playing his lute to keep spirits up. On this journey he was forced more than a few times to take up a sword. 1) Character Name: Princess Ariel Nymeros Targaryen (Lady Ariel Wyl)
2) Character Age: 22
3) Character Nationality: Valyrian/Dornish.

7) Character Family History: Granddaughter of Prince Aegon Targaryen and Princess Rhana Martell, daughter of Prince Quintin Nymeros Targaryen and Yvonne Wyl.
8) Character Personal History: Ariel was born as an outwardly-common woman of the Wyls of the Boneway, her father and grandmother supposedly simple pensioners whose families had been lost in the war, but from an early age her grandmother always took care to teach her differently, teaching her of the heritage of the old Martells and the disappeared Targaryens. When the old "Danna Sand," the Princess Rhana Martell, went on little trips everywhere, she took her granddaughter along, teaching her the skills of her trade as an assassin and a poisoner, while providing her access to the few maegi who her sister had known to teach the young woman. It was a terrible childhood; Ariel had killed at least two men before her first bleeding.
Her third killing was a true test, however. Her father had never been mentally stable, going into mad rantings with more and more frequency, striking servants and stalking his chambers, but when he beat his wife to death, then defended himself in trial by combat, Ariel snapped. Two nights later, Quintin's sweetsleep dose was just a little too strong, and he never awakened from his slumber. After a brief search, Lord Wyl failed to find the culprit...not that anyone cared. Soon after, Rhana herself passed away from illness, leaving Ariel in her own care.
Winter was coming, so deeply that even Dorne felt its chill, and Rhana became a lady-in-waiting to the Queen in the Stormlands, though even there she kept up contact with a few old friends. It was those friends who revealed to her the threat of the Cult of the Dead God, and their burning desire to destroy everything...including the heirs to the Baratheon throne. In secret, she made plans with those she believed she could trust, placing them in key locations throughout the kingdom, as well as a few picked hands around the Court of Storm's End, held by Prince Selwyn and his mother.
It wasn't enough to stop the Cult, not even close, but it was enough to save a precious few members of the family. When the attack came, Ariel and her men were ready, and many of the blades in the night that came to Storm's End were caught by Ariel's band in the corridors. Queen Selyse was slain, but Prince Eustace and Princess Aranya, then in residence at Storm's End, lived because of Ariel's preparation. And while she couldn't get to Selwyn's room in the midst of the fire, she caught one cultist whose face she had foreseen in a greendream, before he could reach Selwyn's room. That one man's death tipped the scales, enough for King Selwyn to survive his other attackers.
While the King recovered, Ariel remained at Storm's End while her agents sought to uncover the cultists and hunt them down. In King's Landing she could make no progress, but elsewhere her men worked with Horas Martell's spy network to reveal every threat the Cultists posed. When the campaign came, she went north, at the request of Prince Eustace, to serve in the medical tents. She has not yet revealed her true name...
9) Character Physical Description: Unless it's dyed, which it's presently not, Princess Ariel bears very obvious silver hair, at shoulder length when let down but normally bound up with pins. And there's no dye for her violet eyes; she is indeed of Valyrian stock. She's middling-tall for a woman, though a few inches off six feet, and lightly-built; lithe and agile.
10) Character Reputation: She's "the Valyrian lady-in-waiting who saved the Prince of Storm's End when it all went to hell."
11) Followers:
Lord Brynden Wyl: Lord of the Boneway. Commander, knight, and boisterous loudmouth like his father.
Duncan Flowers: Spy and assassin.
Jaena Stone: Spy, assassin, and courtesan.
Princess Aranya Baratheon: Close friend, Princess, a bit spoiled, life saved at Storm's End.
Benedicta Caron: Lady-in-Waiting (theoretically) at Storm's End, old spinster, skilled healer.

7) Character Personal History: Talyn Thatcher is the only living son of Thaddeus Thatcher, Hand of the King, and the long suffering widow Aerie Blackwood. Talyn grew up in a life of privilege in the Red Keep as his father ran all of King Rodrick's affairs. His father, who was, as his names suggests a simple thatcher, wanted more for his son, and so he was constantly forced to study with the best maesters, and politicians. His father was grooming him for some great fate, it seemed. But Talyn was more like his mother than his father, and wanted nothing so much as to join the other noble sons' in the Red Keep's training yard, with sword and shield. But that was not for Thaddeus' son, war, in the Hand's opinion was a profession, "For half-wits. Great men win their battles without raising their hand."
When the Long Winter came, Thaddeus had no idea just what his father would mean by those words. Unlike the many great lords who would remain under Thatcher's manipulation, Talyn was much closer to the truth, and he heard the reports of the Others coming in every day to the Hand's Solar. As the Cult of the Dead God struck at the very heart of Westeros in the Red Keep, there was screaming and chaos. Like any young teen, Talyn ran to find his father. When he saw him, in the alcoves speaking in hushed tones with masked, armed men, the young boy realized the truth. Talyn fled into the wilderness. Eventually, after wandering he found a group of men being rounded up by King Selwyn, who had also fled King's Landing. Saying nothing of who he was, or what he knew, Talyn followed the King into battle, knelt to Saella, and went North. He fought as a footman, in the ranks with every other man, and feared every day that his identity might remain known. No secret can forever be hidden however, and eventually he was found out. Hounded, he was nearly chased out of the army, until several men came to his aid, saying that no man should be judged by the deeds of their fathers. Those men would join Talyn to become the Traitor's Sons, and called themselves a sellsword company, though they fought for no coin. They were instead bound not by greed, but by a desire to buy with their lives, redemption. At the final battle, they fought as only those who have no desire to live can. Luckily (or unluckily) Talyn did not have his way that day.
8) Character Physical Description: Dark haired, and pale-skinned, with attractive features and a soft-spoken temperament. He wears the arms of disemboweled man hanging from a gallows.
9) Character Reputation: Known for his capability on the field of battle, but unable to shake off the reputation of his father's treachery.
10) Followers:
1. "Quick" Jax: a seventeen year old boy, who Talyn and William found at a small northern farm which had been destroyed by wights. Quick Jax had survived by taking refugee beneath the floorboards of the stables. Called "Quick" for his tongue, he lives up to it in other ways as well, as the Sons fast rider, and best scout. Fighting with two short swords, Jax is a strong, but not exceptional fighter, but works well in tandem with his comrades to provide quick counters while staying behind their defenses. The boy is somewhat neurotic, a symptom of the events which led to his joining the Sons, he can jump at loud sounds or shouts, and is constantly looking over his shoulder lest he be surprised.
2. Lysa Penny: An eighteen year old girl, whose father was Ser Tomas Penny, a respected tourney knight, and her mother, the only daughter of a rich merchant family from the free cities. Tomas Penny loved jousting, swordplay, and all the skills of knighthood, and after many successful tournments, wanted to pass on his skills to his son Wilfred. Unfortunately, Wilfred died of the bloody flux at age eight. So instead Ser Tomas poured all of his desires for his son into his daughter, teaching her to fight with sword, and axe. Lysa's real talent however, is with the hunting bow, able to maintain accuracy even while loosing a great volley of missiles. She is stubborn and a tombody, and will accept a challenge from a male at any task.

Post by Horas on May 26, 2009 23:51:17 GMT -5
Name: Rask Bynames: Rask Beast-Tongue, Rask the Scarred, Rask the Wanderer. Age: 66, b.505
Nationality: Blood of the First Men, Last of the Free Folk, a Wildling.
Skills: Legendary Skinchanging Grandmaster Spear Master Greensight Master Battle Expert Ambush Expert Unarmed Noteworthy Bow Noteworthy Intimidation Apprentice Stealth Apprentice Axe Novice Drinking Novice Horse riding Beginner Oration Beginner Running
History: Rask was born in the Frostfangs, far beyond the Wall. An aggressive youth, Rask lost an eye and half of his face in a duel. Shortly after, he became aware of his gods-given talent as a skinchanger. Trained in this art by his mentor, a man named Mollen, Rask learned to control both his power and his emotions.
Rask became well respected both for his prowess in war and his wisdom outside of it, to the point where some once wondered if he would claim the title of King Beyond the Wall. He never did, however, and instead journeyed south beyond the wall. There he traveled all seven kingdoms and was not much impressed with what he found.
When he returned to the north, Rask found his people under siege by the Others and their wights. It was Rask who forged the free folk together and led them against the white walkers. Despite his best efforts, the wildlings were hit hard, and now as a culture they are almost extinct.
Rask spent most of the war beyond the Wall, deep in the heart of the Others' territory. He did not meet up with the Southron host until the last battle, where the last of his men fought like demons against the Others.
Appearance: Tall and rake-thin, with long grey hair reaching to the small of his back and a long grey beard. The left half of his face is badly scarred and he is missing an eye-- he usually keeps this side covered by a thick cloth. His remaining eye is a cold blue underneath his heavy brow.
Rask typically wears an array of heavy furs and leather under a crude chain shirt. The old wildling says the chain shirt once belonged to a king – but if you ask which, he’ll only smile and shake his head. Rask wields Gods' Sight, the starmetal and weirwood trident forged by Olander Reed deep in the marshes of the neck, lost beyond the Wall with the death of his son Olivan.
The most memorable thing about Rask, however, is undoubtedly the menagerie of beasts that follow him at all times. The great she-bear that serves as his mount is the mightiest of them, and a pair shadowcats stalk by his side. Overhead, an eagle and a raven circle. The beasts rarely leave Rask’s side. It should go without saying that he is not much of a man for civilized places.
Reputation: An unknown factor, to the men of the south, nearly as strange as the unnatural Others. Harsh and remote, but most feel he's earned a spot at the table for the role he and his fighters played in the last battle.

SECOND
Name: Toothy Nute Rayder Age: 40, b.431 Nationality: Wildling
Skills: Grandmaster Intrigue Master Axe Noteworthy Scouting Noteworthy Survival Apprentice Healing Apprentice Ravenry Apprentice Cooking Novice Torture Beginner Tracking Beginner Moneymaking Beginner Drinking
History: Toothy Nute is considered a bit wrong in the head by most. Born to the cannibal tribes of the icey shore, Nute was taken to the Night's Watch after a raid wiped out his whole village. He was raised in the wholesome way of the southrons, and joined the stewards once he came of age.
Odd but smart, he quickly became the apprentice of Castle Black's old maester, learning his letters and helping with the ravenry and healing work of the castle. He also learned to help with the maester's more... illicit business. As it turns out, the man had been sent to the Wall for being the spymaster to the wrong side, and had never quite kicked his information-selling habit.
When the Lord Commander learned of the maester's continued crimes, the old maester took a short drop and a sudden stop. Nute fled, back to his estranged people -- those beyond the Wall. The transition was not easy, but Nute was eventually accepted back into the cannibal clans -- facilitated by both his skill with the axe and his thorough knowledge of all the weak chinks in the Wall's armor.
The Long Winter was particularly hard for Nute. He staved off starvation by strictly rationing the frozen flesh of his dead clanmates for years. That sort of thing can turn even a cannibal a bit batty, and Nute was no exception.
Nute met up with Rask's band near the end of the war, and joined with them on account of them being the only living people he had seen in the last two years. He fought in the Last Battle, and despite his queer nature, the Wildlings say only Rask fought more fiercely.
Appearance: A squat, heavyset man, with a balding head and a bit of a gut. A string of fingerbone earings hang down from each ear, clattering together when Nute turns his head. His teeth have all been filed to points. Nute dresses in heavy furs, and a shield and axe hang over his back.
Reputation: Though known as a good fighter, Nute is considered half-mad, creepy, and even a bit of a coward by the other wildlings. He is considerably smarter than he appears though he often seems terrified by inconsequential things.

FOLLOWERS
Pol Goosefeather is an impetuous, boastful, and naive wildling youth. The Long Winter has hardened the hearts of many men, but Pol has managed to keep his cocksure attitude and youthful vigor throughout. He has little experience in the ways of the world above the Wall or below it, but despite his posturing his heart in the right place. There is some measure of truth to his boasts -- he's the best archer left amongst the Free Folk.
Sweet Kess is a wildling woman who acts as Rask's second in most matters of war. Though she has never commanded more than a hundred men, her skill at moving small numbers quickly and striking with surprise is masterful. Her nickname was given ironically, for Kess has the tongue of an adder and utters more curses than an entire boatload of drunken sailors. Her chain mail, helmet, gauntlets, and greaves are black, obviously looted from some dead crow. Interwoven in the black, however, are cloth strips of a dozen bright colors, cut from the fallen banners of Kess' enemies. Sweet Kess fights with a shortsword and a brace of throwing knives -- the latter said to be poisoned.
