7) Character Personal History:
A man of legendary heritage, though heritage he often cares to avoid, he is Braavosi born and raised, a man trained for years in a dozen schools of fighting--not the least of these being waterdancing. He is the third son of a Myrrish shipping captain who settled in Braavos five years before Imry's birth. His parents lost their money in a 560 shipping accident, so as soon as he could Imry moved out from their home to create his own fortune. Imry would spend his days developing his bladework, and his nights as an amateur bravo wandering the streets of Braavos, just as wild and belligerent as any other. His exceptional skill with the blade was one day noticed by Braavosi officers who offered him a high position within the Sealord's personal guardforce. It was after accepting this position that Imry began to rise in the public eye, 'dating' almost every courtesan as well as a number of foreign princesses. His status only rose when, after the death of the Sealord's First Sword, he chose Imry as the successor. Imry's rise was meteoric, but his downfall was just as swift. After two years of loyal service, Imry drunkenly seduced the 'loose' wife of the Sealord, sleeping with her and planting his seed inside her. The Sealord was furious and initially demanded his execution. Had it not been for the man's popularity and sway within the city, he would surely have met the chopping block. Instead, however, Imry was stripped of his title and sent into permanent exile. He spent the next few years as a self-described 'sell-sail', honing the sailing skills his father had taught him as a boy. Eventually he found himself in the employ of Queen Saella Targaryen, who purchased his ships as both escorts and transports. He was personally involved in her safe landing on the shores of the Sunset Kingdom. He decided to stay on with Saella and her company, fighting beside her throughout the Ever-Night campaign, though he was helpless to save her at its last battle.
8) Character Physical Description: A tall and immensely charming man of handsome visage with dark blonde hair and iridescent green eyes that are highly characteristic of his bloodline.
9) Character Reputation: A relatively unknown entity in Westeros, Imry was a star in Braavos; known primarily as a bravo, a prodigy with the sword, and quite a notable 'sellsail'. Those who hold a less-than-favorable opinion of him don't hesitate to call him a pimp.
10) Followers: (See description under board) Flax, b. 543: A Summer Islander of immense skill with any ranged weapon, Flax has worked beside Imry since the two first walked the streets of Braavos as amateur bravos. Flax also fought throughout Imry's sailing career, and the long campaign beyond the wall.

Character Personal History:
Aegon Targaryen, now aged 36, is the grandson of Prince Maerys the Monstrous, Targaryen (sometimes known as “the Undone” )and himself has a claim to the Westerosi throne through the male line. His grandfather Prince Maerys, the youngest son of Aegon IX, was killed defending his nephew Aemon VI, when Maerys' younger brother Aedon the Bloody murdered their nephew in 511 and took the throne for himself. His infant children – triplets – only aged seven - were placed in a dungeon, but later freed and delivered by King Callen to the care of Horas Blackwood, who hid them in the Free Cities – where they matured. Upon the death of Blackwood in 523 AC, the youngest of the triplets Aellion installed himself in Braavos, declaring his elder brother, Rhaegar the King of Westeros. However he died in a mysterious fire in 527 AC aged 32. His surviving brother and sister – located in Pentos, and together with some exiled Velaryons were forced to flee from Pentos when the allied forces of Rodrick Baratheon and Braavos took the city. Prince Rhaegar - as was the custom of the Targaryens - in turn married his twin sister, themselves having twins another boy and girl. Months later the Prince and Princess are burned alive in another mysterious fire, but the children are saved by a hulking servant. Under the care of the adult Velaryons, the Targaryens are given sanctuary by a powerful Lyseni merchant Daario Naharis, who names as the price for his help the hand of the beautiful Aelinor Velaryon in marriage. The Targaryens are passed off as the two eldest children of the pair. When Aegon and his twin sister are ten, Daario becomes Prince of Lys and uses his political connections and new-found prestige to become one of the most powerful merchants in the Free Cities. Aegon meanwhile was taught the skills of a Westerosi knight by his Velaryon guardians – a pastime which was not discouraged by Prince Daario, who had been bound by his oath to the Velaryons to treat Aegon as his own son, but wished his own son Rhaego Naharis to be the sole inheritor of his fortune. By the time he was eighteen, Aegon grew reasonably accomplished in the use of arms
Urged on by his wife’s cousin Aerys Velaryon, Daario’s merchant ships begin to foster relations with Dorne, the West and the Crownlands and in particular with the ambitious Monterys Velaryon, now in control of Driftmark, Claw Island, Sweetport Sound and Sharp Point. Having re-united with his cousin of Driftmark, Aerys Velaryon engineered the marriage of Monterys and Aegon’s twin sister Rhaenys in 549. Their eldest son Aurane Velaryon was born the following year in 550. Three other sons followed – Rhaegal b. 552, Valarr b. 554 and Jaeron b. 560. There were also two daughters Daenarys b. 556 and Rhaella b. 558. To keep up the charade that had been built up around the last surviving Targaryens, Daario had divided his massive merchant fleet between his foster son Aegon and Rhaego Naharis his actual son by Aelinor Velaryon. The foster brothers (thought by most to be real brothers) worked in partnership for many years using Driftmark, Claw Island and Sharp Point as bases for their Westerosi trading. Aegon who disliked the life of a trader often visited his brother-in-law’s lands.. Velaryon for his part was tiring of the King’s incompetent rule of the throne and spurred on by the discovery of his wife’s Targaryen heritage had considered adding his support to those speaking of rebellion. He even went so far as to knight Aegon in preparation for presenting him to the Lords of Westeros and had him further trained in the bearing and use of arms. However the Long Winter arrived, defeating any possibility of success. Aegon was present in Driftmark the night that Monterys, his sister Rhaenys and their ten year old son Rhaegal were murdered in their beds by the Cult of the Dead God in 562. It was Aegon’s quick-thinking and initiative that saved the rest of his sister’s children - taking the surviving younger four back to Lys for safeguarding. The eldest Aurane accompanied his uncle Lyonel to Kings Landing to be raised in the household of King Selwyn.
It was now about this time that Aegon came in contact with Saella Arryn. This was brought about by Ameron Velaryon, the father of Aegon’s guardian Aerys who had spent many years in the south. Ameron – a survivor of the siege of Dragonstone in 527 - had been one of the rescuers of Aegon’s parents when they had fled from Pentos. It was he, knowing Aegon’s true heritage as a Targaryen – who had persuaded Aegon to finance and supply the arrangement of the eighteen transports that brought Saella to Westeros. Aegon tiring of life in Lys and determined to fight the Others came to an arrangement with his foster-brother Rhaego to buy out his share of Daario’s fortune. Supplied with eighteen transports and a large sum of gold by Rhaego and a small company of Lyseni mercanaries, Aegon bent the knee to Saella and was appointed captain of her fleet. After their landing, Aegon, again persuaded by his mentor Aerys Velaryon, accompanied Saella and Horas Martell northwards. It was only at Goldengrove did Aegon reveal his identity, when he was chosen by Saella to negotiate with King Selwyn. There in the midst of negotiations Aegon discovered the presence of his nephew Aurane one of King Selwyn’s inner circle of men, together with Lyonel Velaryon. Both uncle and nephew together persuaded Selwyn to bend the knee to Saella. In the end it took Aegon’s revelation of his own Targaryen heritage and what he had given up to fight the Others to finally convince Selwyn of the wisdom of doing the same - bending the knee to Saella. Aegon was part of the subsequent victory that threw back a massive enemy army that had cornered the remnants of Selwyn's army. Upon learning of Aegon’s Targaryen identity, Saella was inclined to kill him, as a possible threat to her own position. However she was hesitant given Aegon’s services to that point and his capabilities as a seasoned battle commander both on land and water. It was only the pleadings of Ameron Velaryon and Selwyn that she was persuaded not to do so. In the end Aegon Targaryen was required to once again to bend the knee and swear the most sacred of oaths to protect Saella and her heirs. Only then was Saella satisfied.
Aegon and his nephew Aurane fought under Saella and Selwyn all the way to the Wall itself and fought in the final battle where Saella fell against the Others. Not only Saella.
Character Physical Description: Aegon has inherited his grandfather’s large frame. Aegon has broad shoulders, muscular arms, and a flat stomach. He has strong Targaryen features, with deep purple eyes and silver-gold hair worn long over his shoulders. He is clean-shaven. Aegon has taken to wearing only black, which makes a striking contrast to his long silvery hair. His armour is also black, as is his shield. His arms, which he wears proudly consists of a reds dragon, with one head, instead of the customary three of his House and borne by Queen Saella and her daughters.
Character Reputation: Aegon has developed a reputation as a battle commander who is ruthless and savage in battle. A feared warrior, it is known that he demands instant obedience from his men. A superb horseman, largely developed over the years he as been riding with Saella, he only rides the largest, most unruly warhorses, all of whom are black stallions.
SECOND:
Character's Name: Aurane Velaryon, Lord of Driftmark, Sweetport Sound, Sharp Point, and Claw Island.
Character Age: 21 (b. 550)
Character Nationality: The Crownlands
Character Skills: . Grandmaster: Battle Master: Longsword Noteworthy: Intrigue Noteworthy: Horsemanship Apprentice: Naval Battle Apprentice: Seamanship Novice: Skirmishing Novice: Siegecraft Beginner: Archery (Longbow) Beginner: Disguise
Character Personal History:
The Velaryons have several strong ties with the exiled Targaryen royal family as well as the current ruling house of Baratheon. The Velaryons had also provided brides for the Royal House of Targaryen on at least five occasions.
The Velaryons have wavered between supporting the competing claims of House Targaryen and House Baratheon. Aurane’s great-grandfather Jaehaerys was a close confidant and adviser to his cousin King Callen I. His grandfather Rhaegar, himself the son of a Targaryen princess and married to the daughter of another Targaryen princess raised the banners of the Targaryens against the Crown in protest over the betrayal and death of his liege lord. As a result, the Velaryons lost their ancestral lands and were split in two – some were exiled to the Free Cities while others were taken west by their Lannister relatives and raised there. Aurane’s father Monterys and his uncle Lyonel were raised by their grandfather Steffen Lannister and their mother Alessa at Ashemark. After fighting loyally on King Rodrick’s side, in the Great Rebellion led by Breck Dondarrion. Monterys Velaryon was restored to father’s lands in 545 AC, becoming Lord of Driftmark. It was Monterys that finally crushed the last vestiges of the rebellion when he defeated the forces of Lyreon Barclay, making himself lord of Sweetport Sound, Claw Island and Sharp Point.
Shortly after in 547, Monterys sought out his exiled relatives in the Free Cities and located them in Lys. At the urging of his cousin Aerys, Monterys married the 14 year old daughter of the former Prince of Lys Rhaenys Naharis. Their eldest son Aurane was born the following year in 550. It wasn’t until after the birth of his elder daughter Daella, that Monterys discovered that his wife Rhaenys was in fact a Targaryen, born of the incestuous union between Rhaegar Targaryen, pretender to the Westerosi throne in 525 AC and his sister. Monterys, tiring of the King’s incompetent rule of the throne and spurred on by his wife’s royal connections had considered adding his support to those speaking of rebellion, but the Long Winter arrived, defeating any possibility of success. Like other lords across the realm, both Monterys and his wife Rhaenys were murdered in their beds at Driftmark by the Cult of the Dead God in 562. Aurane and his younger brothers and sisters were saved by their uncles Aegon and Lyonel Velaryon. Deciding that the safest course was to separate the children, Lyonel took Aurane to Kings Landing to be placed under the wardship of King Selwyn, while the younger four returned to the safety of Lys with Aegon – a powerful merchant in his own right.
At age 15, Aurane was made one of the squires to King Selwyn when he was fifteen and he took part in Selwyn’s efforts to defeat the Cult of the Dead God, finally being knighted at the King’s hands when he was 18 and confirmed in his father’s titles of Lord of Driftmark, Sweetport Sound, Claw Island and Sharp Point. Aurane accompanied Selwyn to Kings Landing and due to Thaddeus Thatcher’s treachery he and Selwyn only narrowly escaped with their lives .
Aurane was also with Selwyn when they were cornered by the Other’s army. It was here that Aerys Velaryon who had accompanied Aegon Taragaryen to parley with Selwyn’s army recognized Aurane and was instrumental in re-uniting Aurane with members of his long exiled family. It was Aurane who helped persuade Selwyn to kneel to Saella - and he knelt alongside Selwyn along with many of Selwyn’s other followers. Aurane fought well in the following campaign against the Others – all the way to the wall. He took part in the final battle – where his uncle Lyonel was killed.
Character Physical Description:
Aurane stands around 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a medium-built body which is well muscled. His face is framed by the silver gold hair inherited from his mother. He is always clad in the sea green and white colors of his House.
Character Reputation:
Aurane is known as one of the closest companions of Selwyn the Scarred and has shown nothing but loyalty to him in return. An accomplished warrior, Aurane is also a seasoned battle commander and fighter.
Followers:
1) Aerys Velaryon – Aegon’s mentor. Aged 61. Aerys was the son of Ameron Velaryon the notorious rebel who fought at the siege of Dragonstone. As a child, Aerys was captured trying to escape from Dragonstone by the forces of Peyton Redwyne, Aerys was kept as a prisoner at the Red Keep for three years, under close confinement. Taken west by Cedric Lannister when he resigned as the Hand of the King in 530, Aerys and his cousins Viserys and Aelinor sailed for the Free Cities to rejoin Ameron. Learning of the death of Lord Rhaegar at the hands of an assassin, the Velaryons fled Pentos when the Baratheons invaded and moved to Lys. After his cousin Aelinor married Daario Naharis powerful merchant prince of Lys, Aerys travelled widely with his father visiting a number of places further east including the Dothraki Sea and the cities around Slavers Bay. Aerys worked as Daario’s right hand man, training Aegon and Rhaego in the skills of arms. While he has lived in the background for most of his life at various stages it has been Aerys who has influenced the course of events. For example it was Aerys who engineered the marriage of Monterys Velaryon and Aegon’s twin sister Rhaenys and he helped persuade Aegon to supply the ships for Saella’s crossing and also for Aegon to accompany her. Now an old man, it is Aerys who knows Aegon better than anyone. He serves as Aegon’s conscience and sometimes acts to protect him from himself. Aerys is one of the few men Aegon willingly listens to and is one of the very few he would trust with his life.
2) Ser Maekar Velaryon Son of Aerys Velaryon by a Lyseni woman, Maekar was one of the earliest companions of Aegon, but not the closest. Six years younger than Aegon, Maekar has bright golden hair and the brilliant blue eyes of his mother. Like Aegon, Maekar is renowned for his skill in battle, although he does not have the skills or experience of Aegon. It is to Maekar that Aegon turns to when he has to accomplish something particularly unpleasant. Maekar is unmarried.
3) Valarr Velaryon aged 17 Squire to his uncle Aegon Targaryen. Valarr is the younger brother of Aurane Velaryon the Lord of Driftmark. Taken to Lys when he was eight, he has served as Aegon’s squire for three years and fought at his side from the time they arrived in Westeros. Not yet a knight, Valarr is keen to win a knighthood by deed of arms. He hero-worships his uncle Aegon who treats him with affection – being the son of his dead twin. Nonetheless Valarr does not seem very enamored of his elder brother Aurane, the Lord of Driftmark, who until they met at Goldengrove, he had not seen for years.
Other two followers - coming soon.

7) Character Personal History:
When Aegon X returned from Myr with a child greatly resembling him, the House was abashed. The story circulated of the lovely Kasmyn, the daughter of Marus Willfyre, just sixteen, had died in childbirth procuring a son for her lover, the King. The practically snow-haired infant was slated to be named Aegon XI, but the King's new wife, Saella, forbade it. And so, the potential heir became Saenarys the bastard infant.
The boy had an unmatched prowess in combat as he grew, reflecting his father's good qualities, what few there were. However, it seemed he had Aegon's affliction of the mind, and though he was an intensely loving brother to his four, younger half-sisters (and they loved him back just as fiercely), he despised everyone else he associated with, save a few scoundrels and ne'er-do-wells.
Five years ago, Saenarys simply vanished, leaving no trace or mention of his passing. Where he was, no one knows. But, on the Eve of the Final Battle, Saenarys returned to his family, as if he had known where they were to be, somehow. He looked exotic, and carried a sword carved from rock. He also led a group of men, thirty in all, collected from all around the world, to aid Saella in battle. They all called him "Whitefyre", and he responded to it. He fought like a demon, his movements seeming to flow out of one another. All of his men fought amazingly, but, by the end, however, it was he and six others who were left.
None are happier to see him, and his return, than his beloved sisters, to whom he is completely devoted.
8) Character Physical Description:
Tall, reaching at about six feet, four inches and a muscular frame supporting broad shoulders, Saenarys is the spitting image of his father as a youth, save the detail of his eyes. He sports a pair of mismatched irises, one a cool violet color, while the other an iridescent green. These orbs are framed by the mysterious markings tattooed onto his face. These markings also adorn the rest of his body. His hair is not so much blonde as it is white, and it is long and wild. He could not be described as handsome so much as beautiful, his features smooth and symmetrical. In battle, he wears armor of some far-to-the-east land, though it has been said that he appears like the warrior himself. In repose, his dress is exotic, loose fitting and untraditional of the Valyrian heritage.
9) Character Reputation:
Before he disappeared, Saenarys was haughty, incorrigable, mean and nasty (save to his sisters). In every regard, much like his half-mad father. Since his return, however, it appears Saenarys has become cool and collected, hardened by obvious experience. His calm demeanor is tempered by the mystery he is wrapped in. His entourage, his style of dress, his markings and tattoos, and the strange rituals he seems to engage in now.
10) Followers: (See description under board)
A'Lysa Morningstrike (22)- A deadly accurate archer woman who appears to have the taste of men. She is from the Riverlands, though none know her surname.
Ser Thomas Royce the Red, or "Red Tom" or "the Roaring Royce" (25)- A peaceable warrior, distinguishable by his great red beard, though his head hair is blonde. He is prone to sometimes extreme outbursts.
Ser Tomas Sand the Furious (26)- A Dornishman identified by his extreme temper.
Ser Elias Sand the Calm (28)- The older of the pair of bastard brothers, and more collected. He has an innocence to him that causes the rest of the company to treat him as more of a joke.
Maester Willem (30)- From the North. He is the pariah of the company as he caused many deaths during the Last Battle. His skills as a Maester are adequate, but he is a coward.

2) Character Age: 16
3) Character Nationality (Stormlands, The Reach, etc): Ironborn (Though he is a quarter Dothraki)
4) Character Byname:
5) Character Skills (Choose 2 beginner skills, 2 novice skills, 2 apprentice skills, 2 noteworthy skills, 2 expert skill, 2 Master skills, and 1 Grandmaster ):
Grandmaster Axe (Possesses the Valyrian Steel axe Kegsplitter) Master Naval Battle Master Sailing Master Ambush Expert Unarmed Noteworthy Drinking Noteworthy Riding Apprentice Finger Dance Apprentice Intimidation Novice Charm Novice Swimming Beginner Singing Beginner Bow
7) Character Personal History:
Ragnor was born on New Pyke in the Stepstones, son of Jhorgo Greyjoy, the son of Erik Greyjoy, a family deposed of their holdings and merely landed captains sworn to House Harlaw. This always sat ill with Jhorgo and his siblings, but they had decided not to attempt a rebellion while so weak, but rather to wait, bide their time, for generations if need be.
When the Others came south, Jhorgo and his ships were in the Iron Islands for some reason or another, and they sailed with the rest. Ragnor was with him, scarcely more than a boy, serving on his father's ship. This would not last, however, for Jhorgo was struck down in battle with the creatures from the far north. Ragnor, nearby, saw his father fall. He did not weep, he did not stop, he merely picked up his father's axe, berserk, and slaughtered each and every of the monsters in reach.
8) Character Physical Description: Ragnor's Dothraki blood shows through in his bronze skin and jet-black hair. He is a large man, over six feet, and well-built, but lean rather than massive.
9) Character Reputation: A hell of a fighter, if a bit young.
10) Followers: (See description under board)
Balor Pyke - The only son of Ragnor's aunt, Balor is the captain of the Ravaged Virgin.
Raef the Writer - Obviously, Raef is best known through his pursuit of the most un-Ironborn skill of writing. His accounts of raids and battles have won great acclaim among the sailors of the Islands, however. Captain of the Sharp Quill.
Dagmer Eight-Fingers - So called after losing a finger on each hand in the finger dance. He rarely competes, these days. Captain of the Ironhand.
Sargon the Killer - A man with a propensity for starting duels on a whim and never having lost. Captain of the Blood for Honor.
Ilien Morvados - A Braavosi, oddly enough. He was taken as a thrall when a boy, won his freedom, and now serves with distinction. Captain of the Eastern Wind.

FIRST
Name: Lord Warren Marbrand Age: b.547 (24) Nationality: Westerman
Skills: Legendary Stealth Grandmaster Intrigue Master Forgery Master Poison Expert Crossbow Expert Disguise Noteworthy Small Blades Noteworthy Running Apprentice Stewardship Apprentice Horsemanship Novice Ravenry Novice Cyvasse Beginner Oil Painting Beginner Sailing
History: Warren Marbrand was born Warren Hill. His mother had always delighted in telling him that his father had been some charmingly handsome lord who had whisked her off her feet and into a warm, candle-lit evening of romance on the strawberry-covered hillock overlooking her modest inn. While the story was all well and good and made for a very fanciful fairy tale, the fact still remained that while he had quickened in his mother's belly, his father had vanished, leaving her unmarried and condemning Warren to a life as a Hill. As a bastard.
Though his mother had loved to regale him with the story of the marvelous night of his conception, the one detail she constantly left out was with who she shared that night. The more he asked about it, and the more she evaded the question, the more Warren realized that it was very likely his mother did not know her lordly lover had been herself. If there was anything worse than being a lord's bastard, Warren figured it would have to be being any lord's bastard.
Some men wear their names better than others. Heroes wear their names like shining armor while lesser men wear names like dull, threadbare wool. With a name like Warren Hill, the young bastard felt as though he wore his name like a young lady's evening gown. An ill fitting name for a man who wanted more, Warren bore his bastard's burden, and swore to himself that one day he would rise above it.
And so for years, Warren shed his name and took up others, when they suited him. Sometimes he was a mummer from across the Narrow Sea who charmed hearts and opened purses. Other times he was a septon, wandering from hamlet to hamlet, performing marriages and leading sermons. Still at other moments he was a master blacksmith, collecting commissions for work he would never do in a shop he never owned. Warren had been a sailor, a vintner, a pickpocket, a craftsman, a master-at-arms, and even an acolyte from the Citadel. Through his travels he had met hundreds of men and scores of highborn folk, as well as dozens of lords, though at no point could he have named one his father. Warren Hill had worn more names than he could have counted, but there was still one that eluded his grasp, one that should have been rightfully his. The name of Lord.
His plan was set in place. A smart man never tells all his secrets, nor does he ever shows all the names he wears, for he never knows when he might need don them again. And so Warren did what was necessary, and indeed some things he was not proud of. When the traitor Thatcher declared the West in rebellion and sent his Riverland and Mander troops forth, Warren acted. The vanguard of the Western defenders was lead by the Lord Dudley Marbrand, and when it met the advancing armies of Thatcher, the Westermen were decimated. Among the dead was Lord Marbrand himself, slain without a legitimate male heir.
Until his bastard son, Warren Hill made himself known. A young man that looked impressively similar to the late lord came armed with a stack of letter written in the Lord Marbrand's own hand along with a legion of septons, merchants, and other goodmen eye witness accounts. Claiming himself as the heir of Lord Dudley Marbrand, the former bastard was quick to align his forces with Thatcher's men, and aided in putting the Western rebels down. Finally, Warren Hill shed that name for good, and donned his next: Warren Marbrand, Lord of Ashemark.
Appearance: Warren Marbrand is an outstandingly average looking man. He stands of usual height and holds a normal build, with an entirely regular looking head of fair hair and an unexceptionally crooked nose. A typical dusting of stubble covers his plain face, and ordinary slate blue eyes peer almost-but-not-quite interestingly from beneath his commonplace brow.
What sets Warren Marbrand apart, however, is his clothing. The lord has a full, dramatic wardrobe, ranging from regal looking smoky grey, black, muted green wools and linens to rich burning red, orange, and yellow leathers and silks and laces. The colors of House Marbrand are everywhere, as is the symbol of the burning tree set in embroidery as well as jeweled cufflinks, buttons, and clasps.
Reputation: Warren Marbrand is known as the legitimized bastard son of Dudley Marbrand, and as one of the first Westerlords to submit to and aid Thatcher's invading force. Other than that, little is known aside from a few mundane or contradictory rumors.

Name: Ser Rolfe Spicer Age: b.435 (36) Nationality: Westerman
Skills: Grandmaster Sword Master Battle Noteworthy Lance Noteworthy Tracking Apprentice Horsemanship Apprentice Engineering Novice Fistfighting Novice Sailing Beginner Languages Beginner Cartography
History: Ser Rolfe Spicer was born amidst a sun-kissed trading vessel, drifting in a becalmed sea between Gulltown and Braavos. It has been said more than once that his birth, on such a windless, tranquil day, set the tone for the babe that would one day become the placid and even-tempered Ser Rolfe. Growing up with a dock, a deck, and the earth of a hundred different lands beneath his feet, the young Spicer lived the life of a trader aboard his father's ship.
From as close as King's Landing and as far away as Quarth, Rolfe traveled and learned the trader's trade. At age 19, Rolfe parted ways with his father's tutelage, in order to make a claim for his own route, crew, and ship. Unfortunate for the Spicer youth, things turned sour. After bad business deal through a man who knew a knight who knew a guy, Rolfe was left penniless, and on his own.
Being born on a lower branch of a relatively unimpressive tree, there were few options for Rolfe. While he loved to read and discover new things, he never much relied on himself for his quick wits, so becoming a maester or even a septon was out. With his options dwindled, and with an aversion to ending up a hungry and homeless, he took what he could. For better or for worse Rolfe took up the sword.
Unlikely people make unlikely friends, but the man who would become Lord Warren Marbrand took quick note of the new sellsword tramping about the West. Taking him into his service, Rolfe Spicer was soon made a knight, and found what seemed like a new home.
Appearance: Ser Rolfe Spicer is an imperiously tall and well defined man. His once magnificent head of shaggy brown hair has receded a great deal, and is now cropped uniformly short. His face is clean shaven. Large brown eyes set beneath a bushy brow bespeak of honest intentions and curiosity in things unknown or yet learnt. His armor and sword are more or less unremarkable, simply tools to get a job done rather than ornament.
Reputation: Ser Rolfe Spicer is known as an honest, capable, and good-natured knight. As the captain of Lord Marbrand's armies, Spicer inspires a great deal of confidence from his troops as a commander and swordsman. A small number of traders across Westeros and the Narrow Sea would recognize Rolfe as a trader in spices who has a hunger for rare texts and tomes.

Name: Erren the Tall
Character Age: 24 b. 547
Character/Nationality: Raised in the Riverlands
Character Bynames: Mumbling Ren, Erren the Innsman, Soggy Ren
Character Skills: Grandmaster - Longsword Master - Horsemanship Master - Small blades (Daggers) Expert - Leadership Expert - Longbow Noteworthy - Battle Command (Ambush) Noteworthy - Fiddle player Apprentice - Diplomacy Apprentice - Scouting Novice - Sailing (Small craft, not warships) Novice - Trade Beginner - Intrigue (Listening to the small folk "rumor mill") Beginner - Drinking
Personal History: Erren is the son of Garth and Elia, owners of the Shady Glen Rest, an inn amongst the small fishing hamlet of Aegon's Hollow. Throughout his childhood he helped his parents, and siblings, his brothers, Emmett and Walder, and his sisters, Dacey, Eleyna and Jeyne, with the chores of running an inn that catered to travelers along the Kingsroad. Although they all shared chores, they did not share looks: His brothers and sisters were short, he was tall. His siblings shared the straight, blonde or black hair of their parents; Erren's was cool brown and. when wet, would get curly. His siblings shared either brown/green or dark brown eyes of their parents; His were a bright, almost sky blue. It was a common whisper throught the village that Erren wasn't of the "Innsman" family...
All the differences in appearance were never, seriously or openly, talked about amongst the family, and during a levy calling-up by Lord Seagard, Emmett was gifted with arms donated from the villagers; Erren receivd an old sword and shield, it's emblazoning faded (But, both new "soldiers" noticed it would have been a beautiful gold and black). During their "training" at camp, both young men excelled. It wasn't until they found themselves battling against bandits, that both realized they Loved it, not just the fighting, but the looting! They served a full month (Actually volunteering for a Second term of service!), before returning home. After several days, with the family gathered around the inn's large hearth, did both young men tell their plan: To go out into the world, and make a life out of their sword arms. That night was spent tearful and quiet; The next morning, was one of somber celebration, as the village bid goodbye to "Tall Ren" and "Iron Emmett", who had bedecked themselves in arms and scavenged armor, and rode two bays gifted by the Mayor.
Over 7 years, the pair became well-known as sell swords, taking job and coin throughout the Riverlands, the Vale, and the Westerlands. Since they had left their village, the pair had become a small group, dubbed as the Shady Glen Knights, a band known for their reliability and profesionalism; As well as for their leader, with his "Bastard Blazoned" shield, of which many guessed as to it's, and the user's, heritage.
During the attempt to throw back the Others, the Shady Glen Knights, were not at the forefront, performing heroic feats or daring-do that would become legend; The hedge knights and sell swords fought and died along with the footmen, in the mud, blood, ice and snow; Erren had seen many things during those times, that could write hundreds of books worth of terror and courage, far and above anything he had ever seen before.
Let the Lordly lords worry about knee-bending and arse-kissing and back-stabbing, his loyalty would be the almighty coin!
Physical Description: Tall, topping out just above the 6' mark, with blue eyes and short, brown hair. He could almost be "handsome", if he changed his appearance; He commonly wore some sort of dirtied armor, a hauberk of chainmail, a piece of plate as he scavenged them, over a set of usually just as dirty, wool doublet and pants and pigskin boots. He usually also wore a regular arsenal of weapons: A sword, several knives, a handaxe (Which usually served as a tool, but had cut through limbs as easily as branches), whatever could be scavenged (Even more weapons and pieces of armor were found on Blanchy, the bay horse he had ridden out of Aegon's Hollow on).
Personality: Erren can be quite nice, personable, almost charming around the right people (Usually the better dressed ones), but lets his gruff, blunt, and quiet self dominate around a few; His Shady Glenners, those whom he gets to know, or he trusts, etc. He is not rude, per say, he just does not pull any "foolery", and will say so quite matter-of-factly.
Followers: Iron Emmett the Axeman, Leyton of Woodmere, Donnel of the Rain Wood, Lucky Lew Flowers, Big Brown Bernarr, Notch the Bowman, etc.

Grandmaster Naval Command Master Intrigue Master Persuasion Expert Dual Swords Expert Singing Noteworthy Trade Noteworthy Leadership Apprentice Crossbow Apprentice Languages Novice Healing Novice Equestrian Beginner Interrogation Beginner Diplomacy
Personal History:
Born in Myr, the mistress Shahrizai was the offsrping from wealthy gentry from the city. Her stock was off merchants, traders and pirates alike who fought to secure their place among the city's elite and to keep the enemies of Myr at bay. Shahrizai inherited a sense of adventure from her father who was a grand captain and sailer in his youth and at an early age she had known of the Targaryens farther to the south. Most of the Free Cities had an affinity with the Targaryen's in some form or other, mainly stemming from their control of the dragons. To control the dragons meant power in almost everyone's eyes. However, she did not care much about such things and merely contented herself with forays into the other Free Cities, only briefly visiting Westeros. It was her father and mother who had been keeping in contact and seeking trade agreements with the Targaryens, after rumblings of unrest in the land to the west. Where there was conflict there would be profit. And so upon her paretns bidding, Shahrizai went forth with her ships and men to lend aid to Queen Saella. The food and supplies that they ferried from the Free Cities were one of the reasons Saella was able to push so far north without stopping.
From her father she inherited the ichor of travellers, tmerchants and sailors, from her mother she inherited a precision for intrigue and stately affairs. Besides that her mother was a talented artist and musician who often impressed crowds at gatherings in the courts of Myr and the other Free Cities. So in her mother's footsteps Shahrizai took up singing at an early age. Her voice was smooth and elegant from birth, her cries and squalls ringing with musical clarity that put smiles on the faces of those who tended to her. And like her mother, her reputation gave her access to courts and palaces alike to entertain the rich and wealthy. It is said she does not speak often so as to keep her treasured talent a rarity.
Entrusted to her own vessel and commanding several others, her father tasked her with learning combat arms to defend herself and whoever else needed it, since trading on the open seas could be a hazardous venture. She was taught the fuild style of the cities, waterdancing and various Braavo techniques mixed with Myrish stances. As such she wields two blades.
Physical Description:

Character Name: Ser Mearn Merryweather
Character Age: 33 (b.538)
Character Nationality: The Mander
Character Skills:
Grandmaster: Observation Master: Swordsman (Bastard Sword) Noteworthy: Leadership Noteworthy: Battle Commander Apprentice: Persuasion Apprentice: Healing Novice: Horseman (Riding) Novice: Scouting Beginner: Stewardship Beginner: Lance
Character Personal History:
Mearn was born as a first child to Lord Myles Merryweather and his second wife, Lady Wylda. Mearn knew from a early age that there was a slim chance for him to ever inherit anything from his father so instead of concentrating on learning things that would help him with the noble ladies, Mearn convinced his father to have him squire to Ser Grant Ashford, a knight with some reputation of a swordsman. At the age of ten, Mearn left Longtable and began as a page for Ser Grant. He served his master as a page until he turned thirteen and became the knight's squire then. Mearn travelled with his master during the large rebellion that rose against King Rodrick III,where he began to prove to his master that he had the skills to become a knight.
Mearn gained his spurs, and became Ser Mearn in his twenty-first year, and returned to Longtable where he served his brothers as master-at-arms. Mearn had a good-life and it began to show on his figure, growing a lot in weight in a two years. Then the Long Winter came and life became much harder so to protect his family from starvation, Mearn's brother told Mearn that he had to leave Longtable and find somewhere else to live. Mearn traveled the Mander, trying to find board somewhere else but everywhere he was turned away. The lack of food made Mearn lose the extra weight he had before, though he knew that it wouldn't be long before he would starve to death. He managed to earn food by guarding travelers from bandits, until the Cult and the Others acted and all hell broke loose. He joined the Mander army and quickly showed Lord Oakheart that he was a man to count on. He was put in command over a large portion of the Mander army, and fought in the battle at Goldengrove, where he showed to be a good commander.
He followed the Mander army north to send the Others back to the pit they emerged from, and served Winister Oakheart as sort of a second in command. In the Last Battle, Ser Mearn led a dozen of Mander soldiers to save a Targaryen unit that had been surrounded by wights, who would have likely killed them if it hadn't been for Ser Mearn and his men.
Character Physical Description:
He stands just above average height, and even if he has turned thirty-three he still has a boyish look about his face. His hair is the same colour as the sand in Dorne, but his beard, which people say make him look older, has sparks of gold in it. His eyes are amber-coloured and rests underneath thin eyebrows.
Character Reputation:
Known as a good captain that serves in the Mander army, and there is not much happening around Mearn that he does not notice.

Dyther "Nine-Lives" Morrigen
Age: 26 (546)
Stormlander
Legendary: Sword Master: Intrigue Master: Scouting Expert: Charm Expert: Composing Noteworthy: Dancing Noteworthy: Riding Apprentice: Finance Apprentice: Falconry Novice: Braavosi Novice: Mountaineering Beginner: Interrogation Beginner: Torture
Dyther (Dee-tur) Morrigen was born somewhere in Westeros in 544, raised initially by troubadours who sought to make their way by singing and playing music. He despised them utterly for their weakness in physicality and emotionally, seeing their ballads of better men as mere pining for greatness. He learned he was a Morrigen through accident, his resemblance to the lord's second son unmistakable. He despises the Faith and their grasping ways, but also the Dead Godsmen for their silly beliefs that being cold all day is an acceptable way to live.
He trained when able at the sword, and slew many men in fights fair and foul over the years. When the great war began, he joined a side by flipping a coin and allowing his only god, Chance, to decide which schism to align with. He ended up going north, ironically fleeing those who worshipped the cold to enter a land where it was always cold. He has since acquired the title "Nine Lives", having survived his share of disastrous raids and scouting parties, three under the legendary Lord Banefort.
Dyther is known as an oddly cheery man, though as one grows to know him it slowly dawns on one that is is but an act to put someone at ease. In truth he is as cold as the land he despises. His musician foster parents have many contacts across the continent, though many no longer live, and he uses funds off those he kills to pay them to tell him information he believes he needs. He finds King Selwyn's bowing to a woman pathetic at best, worthy of utter contempt at worst. His favorite line is "It took forty thousand men to win at the Trident, and half a man to lose it." He is middling height, and stocky from exercise, with sharp blue eyes and a black beard kept neatly trimmed.
Character Rep:
Dyther is known as a boisterous, oddly friendly man to most, and his skill at a sword is recorded, but he avoids strong drink and keeps to himself when able. He is thought in some way to be wise beyond his years, but that is an illusion from a genuine dislike of nearly anyone he meets.

7) Character Personal History:
Owen Lannister was born the first son of Lord Tyberion Lannnister and Lady Annelise Corbray, who died in childbirth when he was but one year old. As a child, Owen was quiet and shy, with a distrusting nature. He was very close to his two full siblings, Aranya and Tywin as a child, and remains so to this day, though he cares little for his natural born and half siblings (who are extremely numerous) with the exception of his bastard brother Ser Perry Hill and his half sister Jeyne Lannister, who he is very close to.
Though he disapproves of his father’s infidelity, and dislikes many of his half siblings and step-mothers, he remains a loyal follower of his father, and maintains a amicable relationship with Lord Tyberion. Based upon his father’s many bastard children, Owen decided as soon as he understood such things, that he would never father a bastard.
Owen was a slight boy in his youth, which was disconcerting to him, for he dreamed of one day becoming a great knight. At the recommendation of one of his father’s guards, he began to wear a full length mail shirt day and night when he was eleven years old. For nearly two years, he was never seen without his mail, much to his father’s new wife’s irritation. Whether just though the natural progression of his body or with help from his burdensome choice of a garment, by age 13 Owen had begun to fill out with strong lean muscle. What is clear, however, is that by his constant wearing of mail he earned himself a byname, which is widely known and used, the Silver Lion. He was gifted a beautiful suit of finely crafted gold armor, with heavy and intricate silver inlays in vine-like patterns by his father after he was knighted, which make the name a bit archaic, though it is still heavily used.
Owen possesses a great deal of drive when he has set his mind to a purpose, and as such, he worked harder and more frequently in the training yard than anyone else he knew. This resulted in him gaining a great deal of technical skill at arms, his footwork and coordination seeming near limitless. It wasn’t until the west was declared rebellious by Thadeus Thatcher that he was able to truly test himself. He fought in a number of battles against the Riverlander’s campaign, and by his valiant performances was able to earn his knighthood a fortnight past his 15th name day.
Later, he joined the Targaryen forces as they marched north to battle the Others. He was lucky enough to survive the encounter, and now looks forward to returning to Casterly Rock and finding a girl to make his wife. His wide interests are not limited to those of a marital nature, as he also enjoys playing the harp and dabbles in bits of poetry and singing. He enjoys hunting boar and deer and also does a bit of hawking. He also has an appreciation of history, and is a very amateur historian.
8) Character Physical Description:
Ser Owen is tall, though not overly so standing around six foot two, with wide shoulders and a lean muscled frame. His hair is a rich, dark gold falling in waves about his shoulders, which contrasts with his dark brow and dark eyes to give him a ruggedly handsome look. His face is angular, though not harsh, and he usually smiles, though he is not a giddy person. He is missing the pinkie on his left hand, cutoff by a sellswords dagger in battle against the armies of the Riverlands when he was still but a squire.
9) Character Reputation: Owen is known as a formidable warrior, and is widely respected. He has a great many loyal friends, though he is known to keep his thoughts mostly to himself. He is known to be a hard worker and serious young man, and is considered a devout follower of the faith.
10) Followers: (See description under board)
Ser Dylan Farman: Ser Dylan was born in 337, the third son of the Lord of Faircastle, and as such, he devoted himself nearly entirely to martial endeavors. He fights with a two handed axe, delivering brutal cutting power, so much so that some say he must be part Iron Born. He stands a shade under 6 feet, though he is built like an ale keg, with a great powerful chest, and arms and legs like tree trunks. He is haughty and eager to fight, and nearly as eager to beat a woman with his fists as he is to lop of a head with his axe. As such, he has a great many enemies amoungst the nobleman of Westeros, though he is devoted to his brother, the Lord of Faircastle, as well as to his overlord, Lord Tyberion. Rumors about him are abundant, mostly concerning which pretty young lass he has raped or murdered of late, though some of them are surely fabrications.
Ser Ambry Hill: A twenty year old bastard of a distant Lannister cousin, Ambry fights with longsword and buckler. He is quiet and reserved, in fact, little is known of him.
Ser Liam Crakehall: Ser Liam is the second cousin to the Lord of Crakehall, and though old (born in 324) is still a formidable fighter, and an even better tactician. Known to be a leading advisor and mentor to the young Owen Lannister, Liam is well respected throughout the west. He is missing his left ear, though the empty space is normally covered by his salt and pepper hair, though he refuses to tell the tale of how it happened.
Alyn Hill: Alyn Hill is the illegitimate son of a Lannister cousin, the result of his mother being raped by bandits while traveling. Lord Tyberion considers him a slight to the honor of his house, and refuses to look upon the man, nor grant him the knighthood that most would argue he deserves. Despite all that, Alyn is well respected as the finest scout in the West, and is famous for brutally torturing any enemy he might happen to catch, most always learning valuable information in the process. There is little to respect about the man himself, though his talents are all too obvious.
Ser Jason Coolhearth: Ser Jason was born the legitimate son of a lowborn farmer in 341, and grew up working in his father’s fields, sowing and reaping the barley that kept food in the mouths of him and his younger sisters. Always feisty and strong, Jason had an interest in wrestling and boxing, and before he was even a man grown had bested all who would challenge him around his families small farm south of Lannisport. Satisfied with his skills, he decided to attempt to become a swordsman. Though he could not afford a real sword, he learned quickly with self-made wooden swords, and soon fancied himself a true warrior.
Though he did not realize it at the time, his lucky day came when he was eighteen years of age. Riding to town one warm summer day, he spotted a group of travelers on the road ahead of him. Curious, as the horses were unfamiliar to him, he cantered up behind them and soon realized that it was a group of women, Lannisters by the look of them. One was very beautiful, so he rode along behind them. He was just about to turn around and head back north, as he’d ridden far beyond the village which was his aim, when out from the hedge beside the Searoad stepped four men in ragged leather, wooden clubs in hand. Seeing that the women had with them only one guard, he galloped forward to assist. By the time he reached them, the guard had already managed to kill one of them, though he was now on his back with a dagger to his throat. Jason leapt from his galloping mount and entangled himself with the bandit, soon freeing the dagger from his hand and using his own weapon to kill him. The other bandits lost heart and escaped into the woods before Jason and the guard could give chase. So pleased by his valiant assistance, the Lannister girl brought him back to Casterly Rock with her, where Lord Tyberion held a small feast in his honor and offered him a position on his guard. Jason was quick to accept, and served his lord well for a number of years, earning a knighthood in the fighting during the West’s rebellion. When knighted, he took the surname Coolhearth, so he might have something to pass on to his children. Going north with Ser Owen, he fought with great vigor in the battle beyond the wall, though it nearly cost him his life.
