The Battle of Hellholt: Lord Irwyn's allied crown host faces off against Lord Fowler. The latter is killed and his army surrenders.
The Great Western War, or, The Basilisk Invasion, 526 AC: As a consequence of sending men into unknown lands, a giant invasion force lands on Westerosi soil determined to conquer them.
Result: Victory by the crown.
The Assault of Lannisport: Defenders are overwhelmed by the invaders.
The Assault of Seagard: Defenders are overwhelmed by the invaders and treacherous Ironborn.

The First Battle of Deep Den: The Crown army consisting of 7500 men of the west led by Legendary General Phillip Lefford and 10,000 Crownlanders led by the Lord Hand Alexander Irwyn repulse an invader army of 47,500 at the walls of Deep Den.
The Second Battle of Deep Den: Stormlanders led by Grant Connington hoping to aid the reinforcements are attacked by the bulk of the invaders, the garrison under Irwyn and Lefford attempt to sortie but are repulsed. The Second Assault of Casterly Rock: After retreating from Deep Den, the Stormlanders march to Casterly Rock and liberate the castle.

Lord Irwyn dies in an apparent friendly fire incident after slaying the Basilisk General in single combat. Lord Lefford dies at the walls of the keep and all appears lost until the garrison is reinforced from a combined Reach army of 30,000 under Cleon Tyrell and Rodney Blackbar. The Far Reach goes into mourning and refuses to march after suspicion over Irwyn's death.
