"I'll send for them to come when I write Tybolt," Joanna promised. "You must say here where you can be kept safe, at leas until you are well enough to travel."

"Being here is what made this happen in the first place." She said a little sulkily.

[Helyn Caron]

'Mari, there was no way anyone could haveknow this would happen, if we had i am sure you wouldnt have been invited, but Joanna is righ, until eith Tybolt is here, or we know you are well enough to travel, this will be the safest place for you.'

[Viea Greyjoy]

"But I dont want to be here! I never wanted to be here! I wanted to stay at home, where I was safe, and where I should be... The girls shouldnt be here either. They were safe where they were."

[Helyn Caron]

'Mari, if i have to i will stay with you until Tybolt is here, no more harm will come of you and once Tybolt is here he can return you home.'

[Viea Greyjoy]

"What else could happen?" Mari asked moodily.

[Helyn Caron]

Anni looked to Joanna for help.

[Marie]

Joanna sighed.

"Mari, you are staying here where Anni and i can watch over you until your husband arrives and then he, and I, and the maester, will decide when you are fit to leave the capital. I doubt Tybolt will be pleased if we let you leave the city without him there to watch over you."

[Viea Greyjoy]

"I dont want to. I hate this stupid city, I hate the court and I hate this." She said.

[Marie]

"I know," Joanna murmured soothingly. "You must understand that it would be foolish to travel now, though, Oh, sister, this should not have happened to you. I wish I could turn back time for you."

[Viea Greyjoy]

"I dont care how foolish it is! Isnt this enough? Being called a sticking lizard, spat on and blinded is enough, and it wouldnt have happened if you hadnt summonded me Joanna."

[Marie]

Joanna felt both guilty and hurt; she knew it wasn't her fault this has happened.

"You can't know how sorry I am but I hardly think it fair to blame me. How was I to know this would happen? I wanted my sister at my side. Trutly, Mari, there are so few people I truly trust. I wanted to cling to one of those fiew. It breaks my heart that you are suffering but we could go round in circles debating the issue to no purpose or we can work out how you can best live with it, now it has happened."

Marianne turned her head away from Joanna, her body shaking silently.

""I dont want to live with it"

[Marie]

"I wish you didn't have to but what else is there? No-one can turn back time and head injuries, well, they are strange things. Oh, Mari, it's the worst thing that could possibly have happened but what can we do now?"

"I dont care." Mari said weakly, still turned away from her sister.
