"Well okay. There was this time where the lot of us were bored and we had wandered through the winding streets of the city. There are many different markets, and several which sell fresh food from the sea, some of it so fresh it's still alive. I have seen some people just eat them right away after they had bought them and we had dared eachother to do such a thing but no one was forthcoming to an adventure like that. We believed that we'd need a lot of drink in us before we would try something so...outrageous. In any case, as we were walking through one of these markets and past it into an alley would managed to lose our way. However you must keep in mind there are many canals and such and rivers that flow through the city and you can only cross them by bridges unless you want to swim across. Anyway, we were walking and had lost our way when we saw a man pull himself from the water, he most certainly had three legs or an extra long arm. Most of the men were frightened and let loose with shouts at such an fuc-" He cleared his throat, "Strange sight. I and a few others drew our swords instiinctively to put forth a challenge to this creature. The man spoke in a strange language."

Anni listened to Ser Dayne intently. 'Oh please go on, what did the man say?'

Joanna smiled at her sister. "You are the best of all seven of us, Mari." She saw the man enter the courtyard. "Cousin, welcome!" Marianne said nothing but gave a shy smile. "I just dont like having alot of attention."

"We did our best to make it out, and figured it would be best to capture the creature to make sure it did not terrorise a young lady in the future. So we came forward but it must have realised our intent and studied our speech because it jumped back into the water. We waited for it to surface again but it never did. None of us dared follow it into the deep. Well, none of us were very good swimmers."

"No," he shook his head with a sorrowful expression, "It would have been good to fight it and capture it. So I could bring it back to show everyone."

"Well you can count on hearing it one way or another, through someone elses mouth or mine. Preferably mine. I'm going to my room so I will see you all another time."
