Anni's Chambers

[Marie]

"No!" Joanna cried. "Would you leave me here alone? My sister is here, it's true, but she has little interest in the life of the Court."

[Helyn Caron]

Anni sighed. 'I do not wish to your grace, i love being in court, is there anyway that the King would take the court to the Eyrie next, i do miss my children so.'

[Marie]

"I could ask him, if you like," Joanna offered. "But I think Daemon may prefer to keep a stabler Court than has been the case in recent years. If he won't, you can of course send for the children."

[Helyn Caron]

'I do not believe it will be safe for them to travel yet, they are still very young.' She sighed.

[Marie]

"Sebastian will have to travel if we go to the Eyrie and he is the youngest of all three and therefore the most vulnerable," Joanna pointed out.

[Helyn Caron]

'But he will be with me, he will be safer than any.' She said. She pulled the pillow down and hugged it.

[Marie]

Joanna had to admire Anni's powerful mother-love.

"Of course he will. I wish we could all just stay together in one place, don't you? Well, not once place forever. I like to travel and, unfortunately for you, the Eyrie is not the most ideal place to hold Court, though it's undoubtedly one of the safest."

[Helyn Caron]

'So there is no chance for us to go there?' Fresh tears came to her eyes. She couldnt bring herself to look at Sebastian, she missed Vaen and Saella to much.

[Marie]

"Of course there's a chance," Joanna said, softening, "But I cannot make Daemon choose the Eyrie. I can try to influence him, but that's all. He'll make his own decision in the end."

[Helyn Caron]

Sebastian began to cry in the next room. Anni just ignored him

[Marie]

Joanna was stunned. How could Anni,m who spoke of her child always being safe with her, tjhen ignore his crying. She almsot went to the baby herself but decided to try something else first.

"Your son needs you," she said.

[Helyn Caron]

She started to sob. 'I cant look at him right now.'

[Marie]

"Why not?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I just cant.' she snivelled burying her head into the pillow. 'He reminds me to much of his brother and sister.'

[Marie]

"Both of whom you love dearly, remember? Now come on, go see to your son or I shall do so myself."
