Anni's Chambers

[Marie]

Joanna seated herself and waited for Anni to do likewise.

"Are you sure? You look awfully pale."

[Helyn Caron]

'Im fine, honest your grace.'

[Marie]

Joanna sighed,

"Anni, you would tell me if there was something wrong, wouldn't you?"

[Helyn Caron]

Anni giggled slightly. 'Did i not prove that on already your grace. It is nothing, just the thought of the children being killed. I can not understand how people can harm defenceless children that is all.'

[Marie]

"Nor I. That's one of the reasons they have to die. They are madmen, Anni. Their love for their false gods blinds them to sense, to honour, to compassion. We will fight them and we will win, I know it. After all, the Northmen have no dragons."

She smiled slightly and it was clear that she believed in this crusade against the North.

[Helyn Caron]

'Well, as i said afore, your grace, if its what you need to do then you must do it, i will follow you to the North, that is my duty.'

[Marie]

Joanna looked solemnly at Anni.

"it will be dangerous. You wouldn't have to do anything except be there with me but I will not insist you come if you change your mind. It will be a war, after all."

[Helyn Caron]

'My loyalties lie with you your grace, i could not leave you now.' She smiled weakly

[Marie]

Joanna smiled and embraced Anni.

"Thank you. I wnat you to know that I would never force you into a position you did not care for but I willingly accept your friendship and support so long as you are able to give it."

[Helyn Caron]

'You will always have it your grace.' Anni smiled weakly. Sebastian started to cry. She picked him up and then returned to her seat

[Marie]

Joanna smiled warmly at Anni.

"Shall I leave you alone now?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I should get some sleep, i have had little.' She smiled.

[Marie]

Joanna grinned.

"Then get some, and I'll visit you soon."

She left.
