Anni's Chambers

[Marie]

"Why, and by whom? Maekar?"

[Helyn Caron]

'It is probably nothing your grace, just me overthinking things, do not worry, i will stay until my last breath if need be.' She smiled at the queen

[Marie]

Joanna hugged Anni.

"Good. I want you with me as long as you are happy to stay. There's few enough people I can trust and the world has become a strange and frightening place, even for a dragon."

[Helyn Caron]

Anni's face fell and paled further with worry as to what she had done, she pulled away from the hug and smiled at her friend weakly.

[Marie]

Joanna saw the worry easily and was more concerned than ever.

"Anni, please tell me what's wrong. I might be able to help you."

[Helyn Caron]

'Honest your grace, i am fine. Please do not worry of me.' Anni smiled weakly

[Marie]

"But how can I not worry if something is wrong?" Joanna asked. "You are my best friend now, Anni. It's my right and my duty to be concerned if you are unhappy."

[Helyn Caron]

'Your grace, my friend, i am not unhappy, i promise.' she lied. 'It is probably nothing. Now, what is it i owe the pleasure of my queen coming to my chambers?'

[Marie]

"I jsut wanted to see you and encourage you to get about more, but perhaps that was foolish of me?"

[Helyn Caron]

'How do you mean your grace?' Anni asked.

[Marie]

"Well, because you don't want to leave your chambers because you are frightened of someone or something."

[Helyn Caron]

'It is not that i am frieghtened as such your grace.' Anni sighed. 'There is just someone i wish to avoid.'

[Marie]

"Oh, Anni. No-one has the right to do that to you. I wish you would tell me who it was so I can put a stop to it."

[Helyn Caron]

'I wish not to get you involved. It is not fair on you with everything you have to deal with as it is.'

[Marie]

"Maybe I want to deal with it, though. Even queens have to look after their firends."
