Marianne knocked on her cousin's rooms door.

She hadnt seen Arya since before the party over two years ago.

Arya opened the door, wearing a light dress typical for lounging. "Gods! Is that really you Mari?"

Marianne smiled.

"In the flesh. Yes its really me. You look amazing Aryanna! How have you been."

She hugged her cousin.

"Well it seems we both shared our experience of exile. It's good to be back, and feel a sense of normalcy in my life again. I heard that you travelled afar?"

"We went to Braavos, then to Pentos." Marianne said, "But I agree it is good to be back. Where did you go to?"

[Princess Lyssandra Martell]

"Oh wow, that sounds exotic..you must have been worried the whole time. I was mostly in the Eyrie..then I left and traveled by ship around Westeros. No where into foreign lands though," She smiled and let her cousin in and showed her to some comfortable seats.

Marianne smiled as she sat.

"Do you find it as strange as I to be back, and in the court again. When I was in Braavos I thought that I would never be back."

"It is strange, adjusting to what once felt so naturally seems so foreign. My goal was always to come back but just finding the right timing. Did you feel safe in Braavos?"

"I had Tybolt with me, and later Marq joined us. I was truly safe." Marianne replied with a small smile. "There was only one time that I didnt feel safe and Marq helped Tybolt and I. Why do you ask cousin?"

"I was always in fear, every day. It was hard to keep my mind clear and focused, but I managed and am here now. It is good that you had a man with you, someone you love. I wish I could have been as lucky in that regard."

Mari bit her lip.

"I wish that you could have joined us in Braavos. We would have looked after you, I mean look at me, I am here, whole as is my baby and I hope that I have another on the way. You should have asked Daeron where I was and joined us."

"I was under Prince Maekar's care, he was not so open to letting me leave, but I understand his motivations. When my father's manse was attacked we had to react quickly and I was ushered to the Eyrie. It would have been interesting going to Braavos though, I thought it was rumour that Tomas Thatcher went somewhere to the Free Cities."

"He might have done." Marianne said. "I mean the free cities are big, I dont think that I saw him. I heard that he left though, and what happened at the party after Tybolt and I ran. What do you think of Tomas now then?"

"I don't really know, I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but the evidence seems damning. As a man he should be looking after his family, his sister Aerie is deeply sick and has no one to watch over her. I did for a while, but my life began to be in danger so I have not seen here in a while. In some ways I think him selfish."
