[Princess Lyssandra Martell]

"They will always be by my door until the trial. This is disastrous my Queen, no one will want to speak or approach me. Why does this always happen? I will never find a man like this, and Prince Trystane and I were getting along so well!"

[Marie]

"Oh, I had quite forgotten about the Prince. I've had nso much on my mind I never got to invite him to dinner. You think you will have a chance at marrying him then, once your name is entirely clear?"

[Princess Lyssandra Martell]

"I told Milo what I know, but I think he wants to ruin my reputation and embarass me in front of court. I will have to tell the truth to any questions asked to me. I think he would like to court me and I would welcome it but I don't know how he would react when my name is thrown around in such a way."

[Marie]

After a moment Joanna said "We must make sure the Prince knows of your innocence then. Why do you think Milo has taken a dislike to you, since you are so clearly innocent of wrongdoing?"

[Princess Lyssandra Martell]

"Perhaps dislike is the wrong word but he is always so rough around the edges and it shocks me to see his method. If anyone came to me with information that would put the crown in danger I'd come forward, but Milo hasn't told me what Prince Daeron's plans were, and I only knew that he wasn't happy with the marriage, but that was not uncommon to hear of in many people."

[Marie]

"No, but a wiser person than Daeron would have kept a still tongue in his head. I hope Milo has it wrong and that Daeron is not planning treachery - perhaps he simply forgot to midn his tongue - but it's Milo's duty to find that out, though his methods seem unnecessarily harsh."

[Princess Lyssandra Martell]

"And by doing this he only creates more animosity. I already am scared half to death half my waking hours my Queen," her eyes were somewhat ringed and tired looking, "I don't need Milo and his men hounding me. And then made a fool of in court."

[Marie]

"Are you sure you don't want a drink? Your nerves seem shattered," Joanna said. "Why would you be made to look a fool when you know that you have committed no crime? You can hardly have a crime pinned on you if you are to be made a witness."

[Princess Lyssandra Martell]

"No, I am fine my queen. It is just that I do not want to have my name to be any part of this, and I don't want to be a part of putting a royal prince of blood to punishment when I don't even know what is going on."

[Marie]

"I think you will have to resign yourself to be a part of it, though. Perhaps Daeron will be found innocent. Perhaps he will be found guilty but not put to death. Daemon isn't going to want to be accused of kinslaying. Mother used to tell us how it broke her heart to slay Aunt Lily yet it had to be done, because Aunt Lily had run mad and turned murderess."

Joanna sighed.

"The best thing you can do is cooperate with Milo."

Arya nodded resignedly. "I guess so. Thank you for your time." Arya bowed.

[Marie]

"I wish I could be of more help," Joanna said. "But I can hardly ask Milo not to call you as witness. We must be seen to have the matter properly investigated. I want to see you fully exonerated, and Daeron too if he is innocent, so you will have to deal with the discomfort. I''m sorry, Arya, but I will be here if you need someone to talk to. And you can spend the night in my rooms if you don't want to go back to your own."

[Princess Lyssandra Martell]

"Thank you for your offer but I will retire to my own or Queen Morgan's. A walk will do me good to make me relax." She thought Joanna would be more sympathetic and she felt dissapointed that she was wrong. "Have a pleasant day."

[Marie]

"Thank you. My servants will be along to sort out your room presently. I wish I could do more, but we must let the situation proceed, for now. Come and speak to me again if you learn anything more, and I'll see what can be done."

Arya curtsied and left.
