"No, no. It is just that the royals do not wish to hear what entertainment I have to offer, and therefore, I am bored. I must entertain in order to keep with everyone else." He then told a story of a man who gained magnificent powers by creating a magical suit of armor that allowed him to fly, shoot rays of white fire, and deflect all incoming attacks from his person. (OOC: Iron Man, ftw)

"Again, I commend you, but I did prefer your first story," Joanna said. "Now leave me, I must rest. In the meantime, you might entertain my children, or you could go about the castle and attempt to learn who my supporters are and who are my detractors."

The bard bowed once more. "Absolutely, milady. I shall attend to my other duties. Sleep well, and good night." He left, his brown cloak fanning out behind him.

Arya and her three large guards arrived to see Joanna.

The maid was flustered at the appearance of Arya with three guards and called her mistress at once. Startled, Joanna eyed the guards with suspicion.
"Arya, why have you taken to going about with three large men? Has there been a fresh attack upon your life?"

"No, they were ordered to accompany my wherever I go by Milo Bettley. I mean to talk to you about that now." She seemed irritated by the company.

Joanna frowned and beckoned the four of them into her chambers then gestured to her maid to shut the door.
"Why would Milo do a thing like that? Is he afraid for your safety?"

"Yes, though it is more to discourage me from moving around freely and to eavesdrop into anything I say. Prince Daeron gave me some dresses the other week, and afterwards we took a walk where he explained his unhappiness towards your grace's marriage. For this apparently my life is in danger and he destroyed my room as if I were a criminal." Arya explained heatedly.

"Oh. That was harsh of him. I see no need to wreck your things, even though I apprecaite that all avenues must be explored if Milo feels there is something to be concerned again."
Joanna sighed and continued more gently "How can I help you, cousin? Are you in need of some furniture, perhaps, or my servants to set your room to rights?"

"THat would be kind of them and of you my Queen to lend them to me for a short time. It is simply too messy and I may hurt myself. I did not know my word counted for nothing."

Joanna gave the three men a dirty look and enfolded Arya in a hug.
"Oh, my dear, I thought Milo more subtle than that. I'll send my servants to clean up the mess and in the meantime you and I will sit down and you can tell me exactly what happened. Do you want a small glass of strongwine, for the shock?"

"No" she shook her head, "Apparently the Prince has been plotting against the king, Milo is forcing me to testify against the PRince or else he will have me accused as well!"

"It is not a crime to be unhappy with something," Joanna remarked. "Nevertheless, Milo is no fool, so Daeron must have said something significant for this to happen. Can you remember exactly how Daeron expressed his feelings? It might be important later. I know you are my friend, but Daeron counts you as a friend too so we need to make sure you are not unjustly accused."

"I remember him saying he did not think that the marriage would be well recieved and that he was looking for like minded people to himself. I only spoke to him the once and at the feast he spoke to me again with just normal banter. He did give me a necklace to give to the queen but I thought nothing of it. I don't understand why I am being punished when I didn't do anything wrong."

"I'll look after you," Joanna promised. "I know you are innocent. I assume those men are not going to remain with you even when you sleep?"
