Jon smiled as he smelled her hair, "Now that seems like a genuinely good idea. The Clansman have been a little troublesome of late, so we'll want to take a few of the men with us just so they don't get any ideas, but I think its a good idea."

"I'm glad of it. I haven't seen Mother in an age. It would be sweet to talk to her. We'll wait a few days though. I know your men will protect us."
She almost asked about the Clansman but since she felt bad for upsetting Jon, she said something different, something that until now she would have waited for him to bring up.
"Since I'lll be here a while, I suppose we could try to get you a son. If you want to."

He chuckled, "Joanna, you are such a romantic, how could i possibly refuse? As long as you are home, we can try as much as you want."

She didn't particularly want another child yet and had made the suggestion mostly to please Jon but could not deny that the process of conceiving a child would please her as well as him.
"Maybe we'll try tonight," she said. "Food first, though. I'm really quite hungry."

"I had the chef make something special for tonight, but I forgot all about it, I'll ask them to eat it up."

"You'll see," He said cryptically, and kissed his wife on the nose. "I am glad you are home."

"I'm glad that we are together again," she said honestly. "I missed you very much when we were apart."

"I'm glad to hear that. You did not write me, I was beginning to think you didn't miss me," Jon said.

"I'm sorry. There was no good news to tell you and I did not want to give you bad news. Next time I will write anyway, but don't complain if I have nothing interesting to tell you."
She kept her tone light, though, to show that she wasn't entirely serious.

He smiled, "Its alright. I had no good news either, but that is because you were not here with me."

That made her smile.
"Jon, am I really supposed to believe nthing good will ever happen to you if I am not beside you?"

He stares off pensively, much as she did. "Well, I may not find purpose here, but I can at least find a steady job... hopefully. I usually travel from town to town, singing for my supper in various inns, often throwing dice with rather unsavory people. My instruments are my most prized possessions, and I hope that they can perhaps find a home here." He waits for a moment, then returns to his normal jubilation. "Nonetheless, I shall continue my entertainment of you. Which would you like next? Juggling, tumbling, or one of the talents you already saw before?" Aalina laughed. "Juggle!" She said delightedly. "I have never seen a juggler before."

The bard grins, looking Aalina in the eye with the same twinkle that he did after finishing his song earlier. "Would you prefer my 'lords and ladies' show, or my much raunchier 'common folk' show?"

"I do not care, I am no Lady, I am just a Septa." She said, her dark eyes flashing, showing a little of her true feeling.
