Jherek laughs once more.
"Very well, Aalina."
He reaches into his pocket for a moment and withdraws a flint and small piece of metal.
"Hold this for a moment."
He hands it to her and continues to rummage around in his pockets.

She watched him interestedly for a few moments.
"How much do you have in there?"

He withdraws three torches from one of his innermost pockets.
"Everything. Since you seem so enthusiastic about holding my flint, you can hold my equipment too."
He thrusts the three torches into her hands, laughing, and continues to rummage through the pockets of his oversized coat.

Aalina laughed.
"Thank you, I feel so honoured. Wouldnt it be easier to keep things in certain pockets all teh time."

He triumphantly pulls two containers out, one metal, and one that appears to be a wineskin.
"I used to carry all my balls around in a sack, but now I've replaced my balls with other instruments."
He laughs, and pops the cap off the wineskin.
"Lady Aalina, just remember: Eat, Drink, and Be Mary... unless Mary catches you wearing her clothes again, then you may have trouble."
He takes a huge swig from the skin and replaces it in his coat.

The bard acknowledges her comment with only a typical cheesy grin, and steps behind her, the metal canister opened.
"Hold out the torches away from yourself, please."

"Why?" Aalina smiled. "Are all bards as strange as you are?"

"One of a kind" he replied
He slowly begins pouring a fluid over the ends of the torches.
"I'm just going to lubricate the ends a bit. Please try not to scream for the first five minutes."

He finishes pouring the fluid on the torches, then corks the bottle once more, replacing it in a pocket different than the one he removed it from.
"The torches, please."

"You'll see. Lady Aalina, please light them."
He smiles, and extends the torches out in front of both of them.
"I'll stay here behind you, where it is safe."

"Just Aalina, no Lady, no title." She said. Aalina struck the flint several times before it caught and she lit the torches.

Jherek laughs as the fire lights the night.
"Thank you, my lovely assistant."
He steps out from behind her, and bows, his forehead almost touching the ground.
