Joanna smiled sadly and drew Aalina to her for a hug.
"Thank you. My children love you best of everyone, probably even more than they love me. I hope that thought will bring you comfort, if naught else does."

"Dont be silly Joanna. Of course they love you the best. They all know that you need to do other things. Eleyna wishes for your praise more often, and Cassana thinks the world of you. Silvana still worries me though."

Joanna nodded.
"Me too. Our maester could do nothing and neither could Daemon's. I have some ideas but they may not be good for her, so I decided first that I would see the aid of the Sages. Sage Bartholomew is coming to see to Silvana himself. I pray that he can help us."

"I dont think that it is him that she should see. Joanna, she wasnt breathing when I went to her. I think something more is the matter with her. No child can have that happen and have little else then something wrong with her eye."

"What then?"
Joanna's voice was sharp and scared. She wasn't srue what Aalina was implying but it was something awful, she knew that much.

"I dont know. I am not skilled enough in healing to make her recover this much Joanna. That scream when she came back to us was like nothing I ever heard before, and then Silvana was fine, and talking as if nothing had happened."

"I think something else may be wrong with her Joanna." Aalina said with a frown. "I dont know what, but the Stranger doesnt give back what he takes easily."

"Then what would you have me do? We need more information," Joanna said, agitated. "The maesters cannot help. The Sages are my only hope."

"I dont know!" Aalina said. "I am as worried as you are. I just dont think that the girls should sleep in the same room anymore. I am happy for Silvana to stay with me."

"See to it then, but I won't turn away the Sage hwen he comes. I'll do anything to help my little girl," Joanna vowed.

"As would I Joanna. That is why I needed her to remember."

"Yes. Did she? I forgot to ask if you had got any more out of her yet and I am too worried to ask, myself."

Aalina shook her head.
"I havent wanted to press her yet. I will take her to the Sept with me and do it in the sight of the Gods."
