"Do you call me a liar, my lord?" Steffon asked, his voice soft and dangerous.

Wyl stepped forward, "Yes you're a bald-faced fucking liar," Wyl says.

Steffon pulled a pair of riding gloves out of his belt and slapped Wyl full across the face with them, and then turned to the King. "This is your grace's court, but it is also my home and I will not suffer insults from a man such as this," he said.
"What shall it be, Wyl, swords, or shall I beat you to death with mine own fists?"

Wyl is about to open his mouth, when the Princess physically grabs him by the shoulder, and says something in his ear.
"As you say Lord Steffon..." Wyl practically spits the word. "I'm an older man, and it wouldn't be fair to use my experience against you, so Ser Dorian Wells will serve as my champion."
There is a flurry of whispering in the court.

Steffon sneered. "The cowardice of the Dornish is unparalleled, I suppose. I will fight Ser Dorian, though I have no quarrel with him, and if you are still here when I have beaten him I will cut your lying head from your shoulders, you son of a whore," he snarled.

Wyl's looks set to speak again, but Ariadne touches his hand, and the man pulls away.
"As I understand the matter, if Lord Steffon loses, he will have admitted to having ordered raids against Dornish villages, and if Lord Wyl's champion loses, he will admit to having falsely called Lord Steffon a liar, in the same manner. Does your grace agree that seems to be the way of things?" Princess Ariadne asks.

The King leans back, "I do not want this issue to last overmuch longer."

"I would prefer not to soil this hall with Dornish blood, perhaps I might have your grace's leave to adjourn to the bailey, to conclude this matter?" Steffon asked his brother.

The King sighed and then stood, "We shall move the court to the Bailey for a short time."

The court begins whispering fiercely again, and someone hears Lord Musgood put twenty dragons on the Dornishman.
