She smiles, "Not everyone is so fortunate." She smiles, "shall we get to the matter at hand then?"

Daemon waved his hand, "I am eager to do so."

The Princess nodded, "As you know, your grace, My Lord Wyl wrote to your brother Prince Maekar regarding some incursions onto his lands from Stormlanders. Ariadne laughed, "They never lie to me, your grace, but if I were to have said that I believe him without question, well, that might imply that I believe some of your relatives are being dishonest with you, and that would be really rather undiplomatic of me," She says sweetly.

Daemon raised an eyebrow, "But Auntie Adriane surely none of my kin would dare. My bite is far worse then my bark, and even more painful is what I do to liars."

Princess Ariadne nodded her head. "Well let us hope that is not necessary. If your lordship has further business, I can step to the side, and we can await Lord Wyl's arrival. "

The King looked to Steffon, "Do you have any further business, Lord Steffon?"

Steffon shook his head slowly, his eyes never leaving Princess Ariadne.

Princess Ariadne takes the wine, while Lord Wyl refuses. Most of the small council, except Farman, take a glass, as does Becca Thatcher who smiles bemused.
"may be begin where we left off your grace?" The Princess asks with a pleasant smile.
