Benjen was beginning to wish he had left the people of Winterfell to their fate. He wasn't comfortable fighting for a religion in which he did not believe, yet his own people, as he saw them, were prepared to commit murder on undeserving people. He belonged with neither side.

Benjen eyed the man with disguised suspicion. He found it odd that they would let him go after he had fought against them.
