Kenneth looked puzzle, "fine but I don't know why you'd want to talk to me," Kenneth said putting down the makeshift weapon he had picked up by his dresser. He motioned to a camp stool at the foot of his bed roll for the man to sit if he wanted.

"Because you were on the list my good sellsword," the man replied with a shrug, "and thank you but no, I prefer to stand," the man said, "I do not have much time, so I will make this brief. We will provide you with a gold piece for each of your men, and a half a gold piece for each man for yourself, if you bring your men over to our side in the battle on the morrow."

Kenneth considers this for a moment, it wasn't the right thing to do but then again the right thing was rarely profitable. "How long is your list?" Kenneth asked, he began to wonder how the ambassador could keep his plan a secret if someone said no, "and you are arranging this for one battle or do you expect a longer commitment?

Kenneth frowns, "well I appreciate your offer ambassador, but I fear I must refuse. I just renewed my contract with the Tyroshi and I feel obligated to complete it," Kenneth said naively.

"An ambassador from Qohor visited my tent and attempted to buy my services for tomorrow, it is important that the Captain General be aware that one or more of his companies may have changed sides."

The guardsmen raised his eyebrow, and than disappeared inside. A moment later, the Captain-General emerged.
"What is this business about Ambassadors?" He asked gruffly.

"A man who said he represented Qohor offered me a gold piece a head if I switched sides tomorrow during the battle. He said something about being busy since he had many men to visit," Kenneth said plainly.

The Captain-General nodded, "I'll confess to not being surprised. I thank you for coming to me with this news. Did he say who else he was visiting?"

"No, he said he had a list, I will send one of my men around to see if he can find anything out, although I am not hopeful of discovering much given the short time before the next battle."
