Antonious grunts as the Lysene Lances drag their downed captain off the field.
"That settles it. The Pentoshi said they wanted to do it at sunrise tomorrow, so if you'd like to take a moment to prepare, pray, meditate, or whatever you need to do. Go do it." The man says.
The Captains depart, the show now over. A few moments later, a quartermaster's steward brings the gold reward to Kenneth.

Kenneth finds him at his tent, and his admitted.
"Ah.. Kennos, I meant to invite you to sup with me after your victory, excellent work that," the general says.

"Yes well its nice to know that Pentos fell with the only blood shed being the other guy," Kenneth chuckled the fact that it could have happened the other way just as easily not escaping him.

"Yes.. well, it cost a pretty penny to get the majority of less magisters to vote in favor of it," Antonious chuckled. "The Head Magister was quite displeased I understand."

"I guess that is one disadvantage of your free city system, in Westeros you usually only have to buy off one or two men to get your way, course it often leads to a lot more blood shed," he shook his head.

"Well... yes, but the competition tends to drive the price down," Antonious chuckled, "Better many small bribes then one large one."

Kenneth thought carefully about that statement for a while. "Well I can see why your people are such good traders now," Kenneth laughed. "I better be careful or I'll end up paying you to let me fight for you," he grinned although if Kenneth had been better at numbers like his brother then he would have known he was not making much of a profit on his men as it was.

Antonious coughed, "Yes, indeed. Was there something you wanted to talk about Kennos?"

"I was curious what the next step was? I had wanted to hire more men here in Pentos but its too close to the conflict to do much better then break even. I plan on sending my man to Westeros to see about raising some more men but wanted to make sure they were needed and where they should rendesvous."

"Well, after the unfortunate set back our fleet experience in Volantis, we need to reorganize. So that may take several months, perhaps enough time for your man to return from your Westeros. But afterwards we will continue our strategy of isolating and liberating the Braavosi slave-cities."

"Ah so will we make another try at Volantis or perhaps somewhere else?" Kenneth asks. "I am just curious if I should try and bring some ships back as well?"

The General raised his eyebrow, "We are in need of both, to be honest, but we need land troops more, I think."

"but I should have my man assemble them at Pentos then?" he asked.
"I guess if we need to march I can leave word for where to send them when they arrive"
