"And if you don't want to help. . . don't. . . just allow Jonathon and I to stay here until the patrols head out."

"I don't want to help," the miller says, putting two pieces of black bread on the table beside to brown bowls of... stew. "I've no ale or i'd have poured you some to drink," the man explains hastely.

"Thank you that's more then enough," Kenneth says he provides a few coins to cover the Dwarf and his expenses and the two proceed to wait for a time where it appears a number of riders have left on patrol.
[They are just watching the activity hopeful to see an occasion where one or more patrols head south away from the main camp to start the next part of the plan.]

Kenneth moves to a hiding place inside the mill near the door and prepares with Jonathon to ambush them should they make entry.
If the men enter, Kenneth will yell and try and draw the men towards him while the Dwarf attempts to incapacitate them from behind.

There is soon a knock at the door, and the Miller approaches nervousily.
"Yes what do you want?"
"Bread, and grain for the horses."
"I don't have any.. You've eaten me out of house and home!"
"Well then what good are you?" The bandit replies. There is the sound of steel on leather scabbard and then a death scream.
The bandits force their way in.

"Well that was awful," Kenenth exclaims his body covered in the blood of his vanquished foes.
"Is any of that yours?" the dwarf asks
"No, you?" Ser Kenneth says.
"Nah they missed me luckily," the Dwarf retorted.
"Well maybe this will give us another way in," Kenneth says looking down at the blood all over the place.
"What if I dress up as one of these fellows and ride back like we were just attacked and try and get them to head to the mill and then when their gone you and I over power whoever is left and try and get the girl out?"
"Shit, ain't any stupider then your last suggestion of having me dress up in drag."

Ser Kenneth changes into the uniform of one of the dead bandits using whatever helm will hide his face the best. He takes one of the bandits horses and secures one of the dead bodies to one mount and he takes another bandit horse for himself.
Jonathon will take the duo's horses and ride around to the back side of the camp. While Ser Kenneth rides in leading the other man's horse behind him.

As soon as Kenneth rides into camp there is an alarm sounded. The sentries rush forward to stop him, as Kenneth struggles to keep his face blocked by the helm.
"What is the meaning of this? Where the hell are the others?" the one sentry asks, as he grabs the reins of Kenneth's stolen horse.

"Ambushed. . ." Kenneth said out of breath. "At least forty men. . ." he paused again. "By the mill at least twenty were on horse. The others are held up in the mill we have to get to them quick," Kenneth said trying to disguise his voice.

The sentry to whom Kenneth was speaking ran off into the main section of the camp, yelling. Soon men were bustling in every direction, putting on mail, arming themselves, and mounting up. Kenneth could see a man who strode out of the largest wooden structure, wearing heavy plate mail, which was covered with spikes. Even his helm featured dozens of tiny spikes across the top. one of the Bandits brought the man his horse, and they began riding past Kenneth, Kenneth counts eighty-men, or so, before the procession stops.

Kenneth makes his way past the out rushing army looking as badly injured as he can, and moves to scout out the structure where he thinks the girls is being kept.

The building is exactly where Biggs had suggested it would be. There were still four men at each corner, and the large barrel blocking the door. Kenneth could see what looked like eight men, walking the perimeter, while the reminder were dicing, drinking or sleeping.

Kenneth shuddered he didn't have a lot of time before the men came back and would have realized they were tricked. But the 12 men did seem like a bit much.
Where was Jonathon, he thought.
The Dwarf meanwhile was trying to make his way silently past one side of the perimeter to where the girl was.
