"Well when our ships arrive, we can take the Mander and the Far Reach ships and try and finish off Redoak and sack the Iron Islands. If Lannister has gotten off his ass by then and got his ships ready then we may actually have the ships to fight Coldiron at sea."
Rowan tugged at the stubble growing on his baby face. "I agree this waiting is terrible."
OOC: Have we heard from the forces in the North yet?

Time passes, and the Stormlanders hear of their troops marching home, Eustace summons Trant again. "Advise me my friend." Baratheon is sipping at some mulled wine, and staring North east in deep thought.

//////////////////////////// Time passes, and the Stormlanders hear of their troops marching home, Eustace summons Trant again. "Advise me my friend." Baratheon is sipping at some mulled wine, and staring North east in deep thought. Rowan thinks long and hard and then bites his lip, "Well perhaps we can continue with our plan assemble the fleet, raze the Iron Islands, and then sail on to Deepwood Motte after unloading there the fleet can sail towards Lord Dayne's Men at Seagard and use them to reinforce their position there while Thatcher marches North along the Kings Road with his retainers, best case we open up two fronts on the North, worse case we suffer large losses at either Pyke or Deepwood and get cut off. It also hinges on Lannister's ships since we still don't have enough without him to really get the job done."

Eustace nodded, "What you says makes sense. Now all we need is Lannister to arrive.

"With our 30 ships, the 33 from the Arbor and 15 from the Mander, I think we should move to take out the Iron Islands. We could load up 7800 men which would at least allow us to defeat RedOak and Raise the the Iron Islands. Anyone left lets march towards Casterly Rock to motivate Tyberion to finish faster to help get our troops out of his backyard."

Lord Thatcher plans to send the Vale Fleet and that of the Queen's Cousin, Prince Aegon around to join us, he said that he could pickup our ships in passing. He also warned about trouble in Dorne now that your Niece Ariadne Martell is alive, apparently she faked her death for what ever reason. Thatcher thinks she longs for an independent Dorne, but of course Thatcher thinks the worse of everyone and sees nothing but Traitors."
"Still, Thatcher has good instincts, so since she is your relation perhaps a small test could be made of her to ask for the Dornish fleet to join us. I had been all for removing the Martel line for good but it would be best for us if Dorne remains a part of the Kingdom. If they do rise up I think it would be wise to offer the Lord Paramountship to any Dornish Lord or Lady who brings us her head. Aldric's incompetence and cruelty probably did not endear her Lords to Martel line perhaps they could be convinced."

"Perhaps the letter would be best if hand delivered, the Lady Martel probably has a lot of questions and frequent Raven exchanges may take too long, I could take a small contingent and meet with your niece," Rowan offers shuddering at the though of having to go into the snake pit.

Eustace touched his chin, "Agreed. Your words can sooth the savage beast better then any missive."

Rowan shrugged, "We'll see mi lord, we'll see and I suppose if you need money for Ransom do not be afraid to talk with my cousin's family the Lonmouth's, they should be willing to cough up a few coins on my behalf should negotiations go poorly."

A single man on a horse with a woman behind him ride up to the Hands Camp. They both look very tired.
