"See this is what I was talking about earlier on our jaunt down here," Rowan says to Eustace before turning his eyes long and hard on Davydd.
He sighs, "Lord Redwyne do you consider yourself a loyal Lord to our Queen?"

Eustace swore, and spun. He stared north as he spoke, "Yet we have not heard from him." He turns and looks to Trant, "Did I not promise you more lands? Would you like the shields?" He smiled. "I think I should return to Harrenhal. She must be tortured."

Davydd looked perplexed at the hands words. "Would I have dared attack the Ironborn were I not? I am the Queen's servant and always have been."
"Please do not pester me with threats and accusations concerning my allegiance. I have had enough of that from the other Reach Lords. The Shields will remain under my control for the time being...now don't we have more pressing matters to attend to here"?

"Listen Cocksucker," Rowan said raising his voice for the first time maybe ever. "You are going to do what your fucking told, or suffer the consequences." Rowan was red with rage.
"You don't come into the Lord Hand's camp and negotiate, you do what your fucking told because he speaks with the voice of the Queen. You fight the Ironborn because the Queen and your Lord Hand tell you to and if you happen to have some talent and through some miracle of the Seven you are successful, then and only then you get rewarded," Rowan said spittle spraying out as he shouted at the man.
"Now are we clear," Rowan said his eyes still glaring at the Reach Lord, "and think carefully before you answer because this isn't the fucking Reach and I am not Lady fucking Hightower."

"I think even you overstep your bounds Lord Trant. You speak as if you are the Hand himself, even though I see him standing here before me. Do not intimidate me or else we may have some conflict here and now. One that the realm does not need." He spit on the ground.
"I think our conversation is done here." Davydd wanted to reach for his sword and silence the man once and for all but chose not to.
"Lord Hand good day, and please send me word of the attack plans. I will continue to hold the Shields as best as I am able."

"I was in the room, the Lord Hand already told you that we plan to attack the Iron Islands and not five minutes later you insult him by giving him an ultimatium on what conditions your ships will be used," Rowan coughs.
"The Queen will decide what happens to the Shields and the Lord Hand will decide what happens to your ships as long as you are in his good Graces. And you'll be dismissed when the Lord Hand says your dismissed," Rowan looks at the Baratheon men near the door.
Davydd is prevented from leaving until the Lord Hand speaks.
"Mi Lord" Rowan says turning towards Eustace. "If I overstepped my bounds I am sorry but may I suggest we get Ser Florent in here and see if he is more capable of following your instructions. I think it particularly poor form for your commanders to be giving YOU ultimatimums during times of war and I lost my head."

"I did not presume to give the Hand an ultimatum! In fact i did not ask for your input on the matter at all. My meeting was with the Hand not with and your coniving words."!
Redwyne was fuming. "In fact I would say you have given him the ultimatum. Clearly the Mander seeks to sweap away the islands that I have rigthfully acquired. The prize is mine, and now the burden. I have done this for the crown, but to have no gain is certainly folly. I see not the difference between if Mander men hold them or men of the Far Reach."
"This can all be decided after this war is over as it is. Lord Hand I presume nothing, but i cannot and will not take further insults on my honor. My men are without their captain, and no doubt the Iron born are on the move. Please detain me no further, and allow me to return to them."
"As for you Lord Rowan. now I ask you to carefully choose the next words that come out of your mouth." He removed his glove, slapping it lightly against his hand.

"Listen to your words even now, 'The Islands that I rightfully acquired' how 'the prize is yours,' you have nothing but what is given to you by her Grace the Queen through the Lady Hightower, you are entitled to nothing and you better put that silly glove away before I make you eat it," Rowan says showing his own great sword on his back.
"If I have insulted your honor then good. . . I meant to. . . you are an ungrateful uppity bastard that expects a reward for doing his obligated duty to his Queen and if you want satisfaction I will be happy to give it to you in the courtyard in fifteen minutes."
Rowan is set to duel unless Eustace intervenes.

Davydd nods smiling. "Very well then, I accept. It is time someone teach you some manners anyway. One less loud mouth bragard won't her her majesty's war."
OOC: I accept pending a scenario for the battle if that's alright, just so I have some chance against Rowan. Actually in either case I'll accept, but would like to have the extra boost when I fight.

Rowan returns from his duel still wearing Redwyne's blood on him. "Tell Ser Florent to take his men and secure the ships immediately" Rowan says to one of Eustace's men, "he has command of the Far Reach ships now and if they don't listen then have Redwyne's men removed and brought on shore. He is to prepare the ships to carry as many men as possible we don't have much time."
Rowan bows to the Lord Hand, "I am sorry but I could not let that continue, I hope it does not cost us the ships."

Eustace nodded, "We must do we must. I hold not blame. I some how doubt we will have the ships we need."

"Well on that matter I had wanted to discuss with you some plans we need to call up your ships even if it will take a month to arrive it would be better if they are not open to attack in port." OOC: Sent you some orders while you were away check on page 573 of your PM's

Eustace nodded, "You are right. I will send word immediately. I got word that the Mander fleet has sailed for the Shield islands. They intend to hold them."

"I think that is fine mi lord, so long as their ships return, Dawnrose has marched for us despite losing Highgarden so I think it fitting that the Shields be returned to the Mander. It was an annoying issue and I am just happy its resolved," Rowan sighs he worried that Redwyne's little outburst would cost him more ships but allowing a Mander Far Reach conflict over the Shields was just as bad as leaving an Ironborn Mander conflict.

Eustace nodded and stared at the ground, "I want so badly to attack now. This waiting drives me mad."
