Jeyne almost stumbles as she strips while running, but it is clear that she is faster naked then with the wet, tight garments pulling at her limbs with every stride. She moves up on the other man swiftly.
He does not notice at first, but when he does he attempts to pull his coat off as well. Unfortunately he stumbles, and falls down a steep slope. Lying on the bottom he stands, and curses. He is limping he takes several strides, then turns. Pulling a small belt knife from its holder he turns to face Jeyne with panic on his face.

Jeyne flew at the man, attempting to wrestle him to the ground.
Rhaenys gave Trant a small smile.
"I'm fine, thank you. That man that Jeyne is pursuing, is Thatcher himself, inhabiting the body of another man. It sounds impossible, I know, but it is the truth."

"Your Grace, nothing would surprise me about that man, although I suspect even capturing him will be worthless, my Maester once told me a story about a Dornish Lord that could do the same thing controlling a man like a puppet. Hopefully Jeyne captures the man so we can be sure although if Thatcher's magic is that strong then I fear when we get to him the poor soul will have little recollection of what transpired."

Rhaenys shook her head.
"i do not think the man's soul continues to inhabit that body. I believe it is all Thatcher now and the body would be an empty shell - or dead - without him. He told me that he needed the new body because we cut off his head so I do not think he will be able to leave the body at will."

Rowan nodded, "Higher Mysteries has never been my strong suit, I would have thought the story a myth if it had not come from your lips, I still like to believe that when you kill a foe he stays dead, but at least now we have a new description and face for Thatcher."

"Yes. Let us hope Jeyne catches him," Rhaenys murmured. "That is why he must be either decapitated and his corpse burned or sentenced to death by burning. There is no other way to ensure his continued death."

"What else did the spectre say?" Rowan say motioning towards the man Jeyne now chased. "Did he prove Aurora is alive? Is he going to release her?" Rowan asked.

"He could not prove that she lives so all I could do was agree to his offer to let her go free and send her to Kings Landing. Had I refused, there would be no chance whatsoever," Rhaenys sighed.

"What were you forced to offer him in exchange?" Rowan asked curiously. "What he finally asked for might give us clue to what he is plotting next."

"I can't tell you," she said evasively. "That's a matter for Thatcher and myself, no other."

It becomes obvious quickly that the man is not a master of battle despite his size and strength, and Jeyne is able to wrestle his knife from him. He pushes her away and tries to flee, but his limp cause him to fall again.

Jeyne shoved the man down.
"Surrender," she warned, putting the knife to his throat,
