Rhodri asks for Princess Emelia's pardons while reading the note. His face darkens as he reads the contents. "It seems I have lost another kinsman..." he says, his voice trailing off.

"I will kill the man who killed him!" Mad Alliser declared, waving his new sword perilously close to Lord Arryn's person. "Who is the villain?"

A carriage pulled into the courtyard of the Red Keep. From the window the conversing Lord of the Vale, and the Princess of Dorne could see Callen step out, holding a child in his hand. Then the milk maid stepped out holding the other. The king turned and placed the other child in the maids arm. He then made for the Throne Room, flanked by Edrick Dondarrion and Giles Grandison.

She looked at Rhodri and nodded soberly. "My condolences," she responded. Spotting the carriage, she cut the matter short.
"Mourning will have to wait," she added. "We'd best head to the throne room."

Kennos Keath passes through the Red Keep, dragging a still-unconcious Erik Tyrell behind him. He seems to be making for the city.

Lord Commander Eddard Tully and Ser Miles Oldflower come looking for Ser Kennos Keath. Their faces are grim with purpose.

Emelia swept through the corridors, followed by what must have been the largest group of Dornishmen in the city, headed directly for the nursery. All Dornishmen in her way were swept into her guard.
Once at the nursery, she looked at the Gold Cloaks who were posted there. "Stand aside," she ordered. "I need to get the babe to the sept."

"Prince Rickon?" the captain said. "We will carry him." He motioned to one of the other watchmen, who disappeared inside and then reappeared carrying the little prince. "We will accompany you to the royal sept, Princess," the captain said. "May we ask why?"

She looked at the captain. "Not till we get there. No time." She led the group there as fast as skirt-shrouded legs could carry her.

The captain of the gold cloaks called a halt. He sent one of his men to get Commander Aranya.

Emelia looked at the Captain. "No fucking time," she said harshly, two of her men blocking the messenger's path. "The King must be crowned."

OOC: The messenger already left.
"Just a moment," the captain said politely.

Aranya arrived. "What's up?" she said.

OOC: The intent was an immediate block, but okay.
Emelia shook her head. "I will not wait. Nor will you." Her men began to surround the gold cloaks.
"Now either move or hand over the King. Or we have a brawl and the babe's life is risked. Which is it?"
ETA: Emelia turned to Aranya. "There you are," she added. "The King needs crowning."

"Hang on," Aranya said. "What is going on?"
Her face went still at Emelia's words.
