"You wanted to talk to me about something?" Brandon asked after entering.

Darien smiled as his cousin walked in; however his facial expression turned to a surprised frown at the man's question. "Ah!" He said, remembering. "Yes, in fact I did." He picked up the bottle of wine he had scavenged from the cellar and quickly poured two glasses. "Has Aranya informed you about the matters she put me in charge of? Notably, a certain thing concerning Duskendale."

Brandon shakes his head, "No she has not, I'm assuming it's about what happened at the tourney?".

"Yes." Darien replied, taking his glass and sipping at it lightly. "I had been getting on pretty well in my investigations. I even managed to catch the suspect." He gave a bitter laugh before deciding to kneck the rest of the wine. "Bastard got away." Darien refilled his glass, but calmed. "Anyhow, I was just wondering if you know of any information involving the unfortunate poisoning."

Brandon nods thoughtfully, "Ser Patrek Redfort, a cousin of mine, did get some information about a sellsword called Toombs. Appearantly the man was involved in some vile business in Duskendale. A barkeep had heard that Toombs killed four men in a tavern called Muck Barrel down in Flea's Bottom. We are going there later to talk to the barkeep and some witnesses if anyone is willing to talk."

A small grin appeared on Darien's face at the notion of a possibly guilty man being captured. "If you'd allow me, I would like to perhaps join you - maybe I can assist in possibly detaining the man... that is, if he is found."

"I don't see why not," Brandon smiled. "Will your lady love be joining us?" he jested.

"Ah, Asha... well..." Darien hadn't seen her since the day before. Coming to think of it, he had no idea where she was. "If I can find her then probably. I'll only need to mention that there might a fight and she'll come" He said, giving a small laugh at his last comment.

Brandon nods, "See you in the tavern then".

In the corner of the Bronzehall's courtyard, Asha Sparr was tossing axes at a post, in preparation for the upcoming tourney. Darien was off. somewhere, and she didn't know anyone else in King's Landing, so she figured she'd practice instead.

Asha looked over her shoulder as he yanked the axe from the post.
"Are you well enough?" the girl asked, her voice carrying a kind of concern.

The girl shrugged, the jewelry in her hair clanging against each other, as she picked up a blunted axe from the rack of tourney weapons, and added a pine wood shield to her left arm.
"ready when you are."

"I was told you were still weak from your fight, I was going easy on you." The girl lied, getting and dusting herself off.
"Still, you're as good as they say." The girl said, a hint of admiration. "How do the greenlanders handle being outfought by a woman?"

"I don't know," Asha replied, "The Iron Men never seem to get used to it, their arrogance and egos just seem to come back, harder and stronger."

Asha shrugged, "I'd seen Harlaw, but never spoken to him. His son is like to win the Lordsmoot, so they won't have to change all the bunting at Pyke just yet."
