"Greetings, lord Dawnrose." Euric replied with a smile. "It is good to know that there are some lords who are still loyal and don't sneak off to some mountainous retreat."

Edmure nodded, "Yes I received word of this meeting that was held at the Eyrie. I am surprised that Lord Brynden Royce would ally himself with such men his mother and family were always so loyal. I guess they hold to the old ways and only want a Stag on the Throne."

"The man seems a traditionalist and I doubt there is anything that can persuade him from his opinion." Euric replied. "Though I do not think he will dare an attack."

"Brynden no I don't believe so. But Lannister if he can not force the Queen to be his puppet he may have to use strength of arms."

"Then we'll just have to show him what we're made of." Euric answered. "We will have your complete support will we not?"

"Of course Lord Hand." Edmure stood straight, "On the day after the last battle I went to Selwyn tent and asked if was going to be a King again. He said no and then told me to be loyal to Rhaenys. I swore I would and I will be her man until the day the stranger takes me."

Euric smiled. "Good. We'll need all the loyal men we can get... even though I do not think there will be war it helps to be prepared."

"I have already sent out orders for the walls or what is left of them to be inspected and strengthen where possible."

"There can always be improvements." After that Edmure looked to the Hand, "If there is nothing else I shall take my leave."

"This news is most troubling. At first I'd hoped 500 men would be enough but now I see that will not be true I have ordered another 15,000 raised. 5000 more will come here with 5,000 at Old Oaks and Highgarden. I did not believe Lannister would truly start a War."
