"You can not answer for the queen?" Brine barked, a laugh, "Pretty shitty diplomat if you ask me. Go fetch the man who can speak for the queen or this shit is pointless."

"All I meant was that I do not know what plans Her Grace has made in the event of your disobedience," Maekar snarled. "You do realise that you are expected to quit the Arbor so it may be returned to House Redwyne?"

"Why would I do that?" Brine replied, "I took it fairly. I already gave back Oldtown, and the most of the fucking Reach, but Ironborn bled for this island."

"It is not yours to keep," Maekar said. "The queen commands you to leave. If there is something else you would desire in its stead, we can discuss the options, but you may not have the Arbor."

Ryam tapped at Maekar's shoulder and motioned him backwards some so they could discuss this.

"The arbor is mine, and your little boy wants a quickie. So you two go have a nice roll, and I will wait here." Brine looked at his men, "Should I be upset about this Dragon fucking one of our boys? I mean girls."

Maekar glared at Lord Farwynd but didn't comment; he didn't trust himself to keep a civil tongue in his head. Instead he followed the Ironborn youth out of earshot, and beckoned to Roxton to follow them.
"What do you want, Drumm? He's not having the Arbor."

The fifty ships under Ragnor dock at the Arbor, and he is the first one ashore. He questions someone as to where he can find Farwynd, while several of his loyal captains begin to spread word of a moot.

The door to the commandeered bar where Greyjoy and Farwynd had been meeting is opened from the inside, and the two step out to see those waiting for the result.

Farwynd motions, and he and his most trusted captains take a knee to Greyjoy.

Ragnor smiles, claps a hand on Farwynd's shoulder, and helps him back to his feet, before turning to those assembled.
"Farwynd and I have had a fine discussion concerning the fate of the Islands! As you see, he as accepted me as the Greyjoy of Pyke, and I have allowed him a concession, that you, the captains, who once made our islands the greatest kingdom in Westeros and shall again, will be allowed a hand in governing. Tonight at sundown, a moot shall be held! Every captain will receive a vote, to choose our Lord Captain! Whoever is chosen shall be my right hand, acting beside me in all matters. What say you, men of iron?"

The men all called in a loud cry, "Farwynd! And Greyjoy!" Then they moved forward to clap both men on their shoulders. Runners took the news to the rest of the Iron fleet.

Ragnor works his way through the crowd as best he can, until he finds his way to Maekar and his lot.
"Blackfyre. How fares my wife? She hasn't been made into some courtly Greenlander bitch yet, has she?"

Ryam wanted to slap him upside the head, but he stayed his hand and temper."They will not give up the Arbor, and if you decide on war then they will crush your fleet. Then they will kill any Iron Born backing the Queen." He pointed at himself," That would include muah, Ragnor, the rest of my family, and everyone else who sails with them. So you better have a better plan in mind or we are all fucked."

Maekar kept a poker face as Ragnor sp0oke, though he couldn't help thinking warmly of the man's wife.
"She's well," he said. "And don/t wory, she's nothing like 'Greenlander' women, as you call them."
To Drumm he said "Put aside all thoughts of war and its consequences for the moment. Why the blazes should we let him keep the Arbor? What of House Redwyne? Its remaining members are loyal to the queen. Do they deserve to lose their ancestral lands? How would you like it if your house lost its lands?"
