Maekar and Roxton arrive with their men. Maekar turned to his companion.
"Let us find Lord Farwynd. Have you visited the Arbor before? I do not know the place."

Roxton nodded, "I have." They enter and after a brief search discover Farwynd in the feast hall with his men.
Brine Farwynd was not tall, but still had a commanding presence. Turning he looked at his two guests and offered a smile. "What the fuck does your bitch queen want with me?"

Maekar privately itched to cut Farwynd's tongue out for insulting Rhaenys but he kept the thought to himself. Rhaenys wanted to avoid bloodshed if at all possible.
"Her Grace wishes to make peace with you."

Ryam stood behind Maekar and was silent, he wanted to see what Fairwynd had to say.

Brine nodded, "I will agree to a ten year peace treaty immediately. All you must do it agree as well." He offered Maekar his hand.

Maekar chose not to take the offered hand. It couldn't possibly be that easy.
"I want it in writing," he warned. "You haven't told us what terms you offer."

"Peace... no more war. That is all I offer." Brine spit aside, and studied the men bored, "You write that down, and I will sign, but I have no scribes with me."

"How convenient for you."
Maekar glanced at Roxton then back at Farwynd.
"It is not customary for a queen's representatives to make 'peace treaties' with a vassal lord. In fact, you have no right to make any sort of offering at all. I am within my rights to demand you head to Kings Landing at once to bend the knee.

"The moment you entered, you fucking asked for peace." Brine replied, "And I agreed to be told 'fuck off'. How the fuck are you again?"

"I am the queen's own representative!" Maekar snapped. "I did say Her Grace desired peace, yes, but she requires your fealty. You do not dictate terms to the dragon."

"So no treaty then, she is going to declare war on me." Brine leaned back and threw his boots up onto the table. "Fuck dragons. They do not like the sea that much last I heard."

"The queen does not wish to declare war on you," Maekar answered. "Am I to assume then that you do not recognise her as sovereign lady of the Seven Kingdoms?"

"She is the Queen." Brine replied, "I will say that. Are you to be off then?"

"Not quite yet," Maekar answered. "I need to be sure you will swear fealty to Her Grace as is your duty. If not, I cannot answer for what the queen will do."
Cut off your head, I hope.
