Somewhere between Lord Harroway's Town and Harrenhal, Ser Maekar Blackfyre is set to wed Myrrah Reed. Free ale and wine is provided for those of birth or rank who fight under the dragon banner of House Targaryen.

Maekar arrives, dressed in his best black velvets trimmed with red.. His expression was as sober as usual. Though he was marry a beauty he knew full well she didn't care for him and that would make the marriage more difficult to begin with.

Oswell Tully attends before returning to his men. He walks among the guests gathered, nodding to those he didn't know and casually chatting with those he did. Though the ale is free and flowing, he left it to others to enjoy.

Amyrio Mopatis arrives, his hair and beard dyed a pristine white. He approaches the bride and groom smiling widely, with his arms outspread.
"Ser Maekar, Lady Reed, I am Amyrio Mopatis, of Pentos. I am congratulating you both most heartily on this day. It is my dear wish that you are being happy and blessed with many children together."

Maekar nodded politely to the stranger.
"That is my own wish, good ser. Um..who are you, precisely? I mean, what are you doing here?"

Septon Jon is standing near the altar, watching the crowd, and drinking from a small flagon.

Amyrio's smile grew even wider, "what am I doing here?" he laughed. "Well, for first I am celebrating your marriage, for second I am in Lord Tully's service, for third I am returning from the north, and for fourth I am fleeing Pentos and my murderous brother." He laughed again. "But we are keeping that final one secret, please." He winked.

"My lips are sealed," Maekar answered. "And what do you do for Lord Tully, Master Mopatis? Are you his sworn sword?"

Oswell listens to the conversation between Maekar and Mopatis from a short distance before approaching. As he walks up he puts a hand on Amyrio's shoulder. "He is a man of worth and bravery, and has served me well in these past weeks. Congratulations Maekar, may your marriage be long and happy."

Selwyn and cadre entered the wedding. He sighed and stood off to the side watching silently.

"My thanks, Lord Tully," Maekar answered.
He eyed the Riverlord warily, well aware that he hadn't been best pleased by what he saw as an insult to himself when the Freys had been given the Riverlands. Maekar hadn't liked that either - he suspected only the Freys and Reeds had been happy about it - but such was life.
"I very much hope my married life will be both long and happy. There's no point in a long life if it's miserable," he joked.

Oswell smiled, "Aye, that is true enough." Oswell eyed the Reed girl, knowing what had transpired at Moat Caillin in order for the Queen to pass. But it was done and there was nothing to do to change it.
"I only pray am lucky enough to find myself married to such a beautiful woman, you are truly blessed Maekar."

"I know," Maekar smirked, but he couldn't help feeling he'd be luckier still if his bride actually liked him. "I am sure there are many other beautiful women who would be glad to wed a Tully of Riverrun. I know Her Grace has an eye on you, my lord. She's sure to assist you in finding a suitable consort."
