Euric waited at the designated spot where he and his force would leave. Gario Koh and Cazhio were with him. "Who are the best trackers here?" He asked when the men arrived.

Several of the Northmen raised hands. They were clearly more wildmen then soldiers.

"Good." Euric said. "I doubt we will find any tracks of the wildlings that left the camp, but if we can find the one's leading away from the ruined sept we may be able to track them down."
He then gave the command to ride, arriving at the ruined sept not much later. He ordered the trackers to get to work.

The tracks from the ruined sept lead back to the marshaling ground of the every growing army. Nearly ten thousand people are now camped around Winterfell.

Euric frowned. He knew it would probably be like this and so he mulled over the matter for a moment. "Trackers, follow the tracks the army made getting here for two hours and see if you can find any branching off's that would be more recent." He finally said, still thinking up the other part of his plan.

The Trackers ride off.

Finally, Euric had an idea. "Okay men, I want about fifty of you to go through the camps and try to inquire if anyone saw the wildlings leave, or noticed anything else that could be suspicious." If both they and the trackers found nothing he would have to resort to Plan... C.

The Trackers come back hours later and shrug. There are too many trails.
The other men come back with rumors that the wildlings crept off into the woods.

Euric nods. "For now you may return to your camps but tomorrow we will hopefully have something more concrete."

The next day, Euric greeted the men with half a smile. "We've had news. It seems the wildlings are hiding in the Wolf Wood. Trackers, if you'll take the lead then we will follow."

Ser Euric waves a greeting. "Ser Petyr, it is good to have some support of the Reach. Lord Selwyn has commanded I find the wildlings and question them."

A raven lands on a tree branch a few yards ahead of Euric, cocks its head quizzically, and caws.
