"I need nothing." He nodded once and studied her and her friends face. "If I may?" He looked over his shoulder his eyes on the map.

Aurane Velaryon, dressed in the sea-green colours of his house arrives at Selwyn's tent to discuss the move south. His eyes narrowed at the unexpected presence of the Targaryen princess, but gave her a short clipped bow anyway. Lord Roxton stopped the man well short of the Tent, and waved some guards over. He frowned at the Targaryen, "We are holding private discussions. Go drink with the other men." He pointed to the many other tents and fires circling the King's.

"Of course. I want to see that my allies are satisfied, Selwyn. You don't mind the informality, do you?"

Selwyn shook his head, "I do not." He turned and walked back to the table. Lifting the papers he held them up to the lamp, "Do not get greedy Barelston. We do not need that many extra swords and armor." He looked up at Rolf, "Send some men in all directions. I saw some mounts from fallen men scattering into the woods. We may need the remounts, and if things go wrong on us we may need the meat."

"Tell me what you're planning," Rhaenys said to Selwyn. "I've a right to know."

Selwyn looked up at her, "I am going to move the men south the day after tomorrow. I am sending scouts. I am gathering together supplies. We are going to let the men have tonight, but tomorrow I will reinstate discipline." The other men stood and looked up her.

"That is good. Thank you, Selwyn. I can see that you will make a good Hand. I will want you to swear fealty to me in the eyes of gods and men. Will you consent to do so at my council of lords? It would set the precedent well for the others."

Selwyn considered it, his face souring. "I will do as commanded." He looked back down to the papers, "Is that all?"

"Yes, for now. I will speak with you on the morrow. We should get used to speaking with one another about the things that matter. I would be on good terms with my Hand, Selwyn. All I would ask you to do is consider my sisters and myself. Think about which of us pleases you the most. The time will come when I'll need an answer, though there's no immediate rush, In the meantime, I'll leave you to your men. Good day."
Rhaenys gave Selwyn a smile and departed.

He pointed to the many other tents and fires circling the King's. Lord Velaryon looked at the man with some disdain. "You know who I am Roxton. Just in case your memory has failed you once again...I am the Lord Velaryon of Driftmark, Sweetport Sound, Sharp Point and Claw Island. I was knighted by the Kin......." he checked himself, ".....Selwyn himself. I have fought his battles as one of his Commanders ever since the Others came. I have shared his pain, his tribulations and his triumphs ever since I was a green squire. "Seeing Selwyn is apparently busy, I will wait until Selwyn is ready to see me." Aurane barked an order at one of his pages. "Fetch me a seat and a drink."

Edmure walked up to the tent of his King. He waited to see if the King would allow him entrance. Edmure looked tired from too long at war.

Later as his commanders leave to carry out there orders Lord Roxton went and fetched Velaryon and Dawnrose. Bringing them up to Selwyn.
The former King raised his head and rubbed at his eye, "Speak swiftly."

Velaryon glared at Roxton before going to one knee before Selwyn.
"My liege. As you know, the men of the Narrow Sea, led by myself, have fought long and hard in your service. Rumours abound that you plan to move south in the near future.
"I am here to ask if that is in fact the case and if so, what part can we play?"

Edmure raised an eyebrow at the Velaryon strange question. In a gruff voice Edmure spoke his part, "Two things. Have you heard of any Oakheart's surviving and whats this about you kneeling?"

Selwyn looked at Velaryon, "We will be moving south, and your part will be to march along with us." His frown only touched half of his lips. The scar kept the other half rigid. "Unless you want to stay here." He turned his contemptuous glare to Dawnrose, "I knelt three fucking years ago. It took this long to hear about it."
