Talyn nodded, and hovered around the command tent, doing his best to overhear the discussion being held between Musgood and the newcomers.

"I was once First Sword of Braavos, the Sealord's favorite, but that time has passed. I am a simple sellsail now and I brought your army to Westeros on my ships." He looked up at the princess. "My name is Imry Willfyre." She looked him over with interest. "Ah yes, you do look familiar, now I look at you more closely. My mother dealt with you personally, of course. I spent most of my time on ship with my kin or else I rode one of the dragons, so I hope you will forgive the lapse. What will you do now the battle is won? Will you stay or go?"

Musgood was ordering his men to fetch empty carts from the camps and once the army had moved back away from the battle they are to acquire arms and armors.
Rolf Groomsmen walked over to Thatcher, "I am glad you survived Thatcher." He offered the other man his arm.

Imry enjoyed how she looked upon him. "It would be my finest honor to serve a Queen as beautiful yourself", he said with a smile. "Do you have any vacancies in the way of your house guard? If you would ask it of me, I can show you how talented I am with my sword." A thin smile revealed his amusement.

Talyn shook it. He had learned to ride in Rolf's stables, and admired the man.
"Up to a few hours, I'd have said that I wasn't so glad, since it would just mean another day of fighting Wights and Others. Now? I don't know what the future brings. I guess that's what its like to actually HAVE a future," the young knight chuckles slightly, "You fared well? The losses, they were heavy?"

Rolf nodded grimly, "All over. It can not be helped. It is a high price, but worth paying." He sighed, "I guess."

She had to smile back at him.
"A queen needs as many swords as she can get. Yours is most welcome, though what of your men? I had hoped you would consent to serve as a high offer in my navy, if your men are willing."

"My gift for the sword is finer than my skill in sailing, though I will respect your majesty's wish. What few men I have will be put to work in your employ... make me your Master of Ships and I will be your finest councilor." He couldn't help his attraction to Rhaenys, wherever it came from.

Rolf nodded grimly, "All over. It can not be helped. It is a high price, but worth paying." He sighed, "I guess." "Even a hundred thousand dragons is cheap if you've no choice but to buy," Talyn replied, inwardly cursing to hear another of his father's maxims on his lips. "They say Queen Saella died..." The knight offers neutrally.

After a long time Lord Roxton walked to Selwyn, and pointed at Drumm. Leaning close he whispered into his ear. After a moment Selwyn turned and walked over to the Ironborn.
"Speak fast, Drumm." Selwyn barked, "I am busy even though the war is over."

"Here's hoping her offspring are equally good, since I suppose one of them will be Queen, do you know which one is oldest?" Talyn asked. He'd never met the Dragons yet, and did not expect to any time soon.

Drumm liked few men and Selwyn was one of them, he was straight to the point and had seen his share if not more of misery. "I came here to pledge my sword and my followers swords to you, if that means you join the Targaryens so be it, I follow you to the end." He rose and looked the man in the eyes," I came here to find out what you are doing and to see if I can assist in anyway that you see fit."

She considered the suggestion.
" I need to know you better before I make you a councillor," she said. "You cannot be both my sworn sword and command men of my navy, that much is certain. You must decide which you would prefer. I will give you time to do that. We will talk again about the matter, you can be sure of that. In the meantime, will you go back to your ships, or stay and fight at my side?"

"Anything to stay by your side", Imry said, as he bowed his head in the closest thing he knew to humility.
