"Here's hoping her offspring are equally good, since I suppose one of them will be Queen, do you know which one is oldest?" Talyn asked. He'd never met the Dragons yet, and did not expect to any time soon. "Rhaenys is the eldest." Rolf replied, "And then Liliyanna, Kyma and Alysanne." He shrugged, "The are all beautiful, but as to their worth as Queen who knows."

"I'm glad I don't have to worry about that business, and can keep my mind focused on what I know how to do." Talyn said. "looks like there will still be some call for it, whatever else happens."

"Thank you, your grace," Simon said quietly. "What would you have us do now?"
Jaymes Hightower sat with a small circle of his uncle's household knights, cradling his broken arm. He'd set the bone and made himself a splint out of his torn jerkin, but that was the best he could do for himself at present. He'd seen his father and cousins killed in the last battle as well as his uncle, but the fact that he now held the Lordship of Oldtown, as well as his House's titles of "the Voice of Oldtown and Lord of the Port, the Defender of the Citadel and Beacon of the South," had not quite hit him yet. Ser Danwell Costayne was barking orders to the surviving knights that were able enough to help the wounded and Lord Simon's younger brother Bran was smirking slightly, as he and several others were gathering bundles of wood as best they could, preparing to make the largest funeral pyre that Westeros had likely ever seen.

Drumm liked few men and Selwyn was one of them, he was straight to the point and had seen his share if not more of misery. "I came here to pledge my sword and my followers swords to you, if that means you join the Targaryens so be it, I follow you to the end." He rose and looked the man in the eyes," I came here to find out what you are doing and to see if I can assist in anyway that you see fit." Selwyn stared Drumm straight in the eye, "I had no doubts of that. You and yours did well. Exactly as expected. Take them back to the camps. We will move south soon. It will be good to see home." He clapped the Ironborn on the shoulder.

Rolf nodded, "We have some cleaning up to do for sure. But it is over." He smiled, "I have been waiting for this day for a long time."

Talyn nodded, "So back to the stables than for you eh?" Talyn said with a slight grin.

"Stay, then. Make sure you have someone trustworthy in command of your fleet. I'll have need of them soon enough. It will be good to have troops who can move by sea as well as by land."

Talyn nodded, "So back to the stables than for you eh?" Talyn said with a slight grin. "I think I will join the Night's Watch." Rolf replied, "They will need men, and I do not want to return to the stables." He smiled.

"Thank you, your grace," Simon said quietly. "What would you have us do now?". "Rest," she said. "Tomorrow I will call a council of lords. Bring as many of the lords of the Reach as you can. I would hear their counsel as well as yours. I will hold the meeting..." Rhaenys paused and thought for a moment. "At Becawyr's Mound. At midday. If you've friends outside the Reach, will you speak with them also?"

Simon smiled at her last, and then regained his composure. "As your grace wills," he said solemnly. "My squire is now the Lord of Hightower, though I do not think he knows it yet. The lad is only ten and four, and he commands the lot of us. Besides he, I do not know if any lords of note survived the battle. My cousin, the Lord of the Arbor, remained in the south to guard the Straits, but I have not heard from him in nigh on two years."

Talyn said, smiling. "For now, I suppose I shall hang out my shingle. With all the upheaval, someone must need an infantry captain."

Rolf nodded, "I thought about that. Seems a tad too mercenary to me." He chuckled, "I want to serve." He shrugged.

"Well, he is too far south to worry about just now, but please try to find out if any of the other Reach lords yet live. I will have my men make an announcement about the meeting, of course, but the personal touch from my known supporters will certainly help. We must be united, Lord Tarly."
