Thank you, Horas. Do you want to make a new character biography? (Perhaps the other one, with a few edited changes)

Post by Horas on Jun 29, 2007 13:11:09 GMT -5
Name: Horas Blackwood
Age: 28
Nationality: Riverlands
Byname: Nothing widely used as yet, but the commoners mutter and call him 'The Sorceror' behind his back.
Skills:
Expert Poisions Expert Healing
Apprentice Courtesy Apprentice Languages
Novice Study of Mysteries Novice Intrigue
Beginner Negotiation Beginner Riding
Second: Rhogo, a Dothraki savage. Wears an arakh on each hip; it is said he is deadly with them. It is whispered that Rhogo owes a great debt to Horas. When not enjoying the fine Westerosi wine and women, Rhogo acts as Horas' bodyguard and messenger.
Personal History: As a boy, Horas Blackwood was a meek and mild-mannered child who preferred a good book to a sturdy lance. As the nephew of Lord Terrence Blackwood he stood to inherit little, and his father found it unlikely that he would distinguish himself with the sword. And so at a very young age Horas was sent off to Oldtown to begin his training as a Maester.
Here Horas distinguished himself; he was quick-witted and studious, and rose rapidly. Maester Mors remarked that never in his fifty-eight years at the Citadel had a novice earned his silver link so quickly. But Horace had habits that irritated his instructors as well. The second link on his chain was made of Valyrian steel, for the study of magic and mysteries, a subject frowned upon by most Maesters. Horas never neglected his other studies, but became increasingly obsessed with the study of magic. And then, one day, Horas was gone, leaving only his partially forged chain and a brief note on his bed:
Thank you for the opportunities at the Citadel. Heading east to further my education. Will keep in touch and be back soon.
Keeping in touch proved to be an infrequent, brief letter once every few months or few years. And “soon” meant fifteen years. Horas has recently returned to Westeros to find it a very different place. He is currently heading to Raventree Hall to greet his family.
Physical Description: Horas is a short, slim man with light brown hair and pale blue eyes. His features are modest and friendly. Horas prides himself on keeping a cool head, and his face is often a mask of courtesy. Horas' personal banner is a simple raven, black on white.
Horas would almost be forgettable if not for the highly noticeable eccentricities he picked up in the East. For one thing, his lips are stained permanently blue. It is also rumored that his shoulders and back are covered with tattoos, but this is difficult to confirm.
Reputation: Horas more or less fell off the map of Westerosi nobility for fifteen years. Now that he has returned, however, he has caused quite a splash. No one seems quite sure where Horas Blackwood spent the last fifteen years or what he was doing, so rumors fly. He was in Ibben, Yi Ti, Braavos, Asshai. He can summon demons from the seven hells and turn men into toads with a word. Blackwood does his best to discourage these rumors, but his efforts seem to only have encouraged them.

(Hello all! This is Crakehall's new -though fairly reclusive- PC character)
Name: Benjen Stark (Lord of Winterfell)
Age: 31
Nationality: The North
Byname: 'The Lone Wolf'
Skills:
Expert Swordsmanship Expert Oration
Apprentice Stewardship Apprentice Storytelling
Novice Tailor Novice Horseriding
Beginner Scout/Ranger Beginner Mapmaking
Second: Edderion Flint, his cousin
Personal History: Benjen Stark was born to a minor knight of a cadet branch of House Stark. Due to the 'Great Plague' that nearly wiped out his house, he first became Steward of the North (while Syd Stark was sickly) and Lord of Winterfell when Syd passed away from the illness.
Physical Description: Benjen stands somewhere around 5'8''. He has never worn short hair and the darkness of his hair contrasts his pale skin. The black hair frames his long face, a heriditary trait of House Stark.
Reputation: Benjen is well respected and seen as an honorable and dutiful man. Despite this, he is fairly reclusive and spends all of his time in the North (and the great majority of that, in Winterfell). He was called 'The Lone Wolf' because he is one of just a few remaining Starks and is the only remaining adult male. He is friendly but does not talk much to those he does not know.

Post by Aerie Blackwood on Jul 7, 2007 1:02:43 GMT -5
1) Character Name: Aerie Blackwood
2) Character Age: 16
3) Character Nationality: The Riverlands
4) Byname: Aerie Firestorm; Lady Blackheart
5) Character Skills:
Expert- Rider & Swordswoman Apprentice- Charm & Persuasion Novice- Intrigue & Oration Beginner- Unarmed Combat & Battle
6) Character's Second: Her closest companion, Alyssa.
7) Character Personal History: If it could have been plausible, Aerie, the youngest daughter (a fact that rankled her to this day) of the Blackwoods would have left the womb mounted on a destrier, whirling a sword and barking orders to the muscles in the bloody battlefield of birth. She was born to be a general, to command and lead and be the inexorable force that shattered the armies of men while keeping her own from falling to its knees in the rank despair of death. Unfortunately, Aerie was born a woman, a fact that, in a world largely dominated by men, held her back from being anything more than a cheeky, temperamental girl who would knock the boys senseless for bothering her. As she grew, she became immersed in the art of warfare, but she simultaneously stared to realize that she was expected to behave placidly, as if she was a fragile porcelain figurine anxious to be protected from the harsh realities of the world from her gallant knight in shinning armor, at least if she ever had a hope of marrying into a high house and raising her family’s name. These conflicting interests wrought from her iron a volatile material much like a dagger concealed in by silk, the sharp steel under many downy folds eager to carve a hole into all who opposed her. Aerie became a top-notch rider and swordswoman while developing into a master of honeyed words to fool and bemuse those around her hell-bent on shaping her rough edges and bumps into the smooth texture of a dimwitted, twittering lady. Resisting the grain and continuing her study of battle and fighting, Aerie, newly fourteen, set out to explore the world and learn the clandestine nature of man, much to the displeasure of her traditionalistic parents. When she deigned to return, she had ripened into a wise a venomous fruit of womanly fury.
8) Character Physical Description: Aerie is a noticeably short and slender girl, only scraping five feet at best, however, her unyielding spirit and obstinate nature make up for what she lacks in size. Large green eyes simmering with suppressed arrogance and a zealous fire rest above cheekbones nestled high on the slopes of her dignified face, giving her an imperious yet ever-impertinent look always on the brink of breaking into sly laughter, while her ebony hair cascades to her waist in a sleek curtain, curving swiftly past an elongated, regal neck. Her usually smooth façade, only ever creased by the lines of irrepressible, constant laughter or flaring anger, is considered quite a lovely spectacle, though Aerie takes little notice of it unless it is in a position to serve useful in cajoling another to her favor.
9) Character Reputation: Aerie had developed quite a reputation for herself during her daring escapade through the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Those who had wronged her knew her to be choleric, irascible, and sometimes petulant; those who had inadvertently annoyed her knew her to be arrogant, sarcastic, and patronizing; those who had briefly spoken to her knew her to be cheerful, airy, and witty, full of shrew humor; those who had held a private discussion with her realized she was a smooth talker, ever-scheming behind innocent jests, and persuasive; those who had clashed blades with her found she was bold, courageous, and occasionally pensive, though inwardly highly intelligent. Blithely satirical would be the most accurate way to bottle her character. Despite her discreetly mocking yet cordially charming attitude, however, everybody knew she was in the game for the power—she lusted for it—and aiming for total domination, as being considered a minor anything was vastly dissatisfying to her. Many called her Aerie Firestorm, as her persona contained the catastrophe of a wailing storm from her riverland home, but rather than a flurry of liquid, she burned with the lethal ferocity of an open, roaring flame thundering in the winds of chaos. She was also dubbed Lady Blackheart for her malicious sense of humor and her cruelly playful toying with boys whose hearts were serious and true where hers was distant and flirtatiously calculating. Aerie is also notorious for wearing burgundy clothing trimmed by black. She is known for being a deeply charming yet lethal woman, a fierce warrior, and a rider of incontestable caliber, especially when aboard her blood bay stallion Anarchy.

Character Name: Raymond Blackfyre(Captain of the pirate ship Sea Rat) Character Age: 28 Character Nationality: Braavos/Along the Narrow Sea Character Byname: The Rat(youth); The Raider(in Braavos) Character Skills: Expert: Persuasion Expert: Stealth Apprentice: Charm Apprentice: Pickpocketing Novice: Intrigue Novice: Dagger Fighting Beginner: Traslator Beginner: Sword Fighting Character's Second: Quhuru O'Harros(His Bravoshi vice captain) Character Personal History: Been deserted in the streets of King's Landing, wrapping in a swaddling cloth with a black tri-head dargon on it, little Ray is raised up by a six-and-forty old whore until the year in which she died in a widely spread pestilence and famine. Though Raymond survived through these dark days, he has to feed himself by the age of six. Unsurprisingly, he becomes the Rat in the streets, stealing, pickpocketing and even robbing are the things he learns to earn his life. Although little people believe that he is the descendant of House Blackfyre, the silver straight hair covered his forehead and those purple eyes do suggest his royal blood.
As time passes by, Raymond has gained his reputation among the small folks, as well as the lordlings lignering around King's Landing. Being regarded as the best theive ever, Ray has realized that it is a much quicker way to make money as a hired theive than just pickpocketing around the streets. His clients ranges from merchants to mercenaries, from whores to high ladies. Even once, a hooked person asks him to steal something on the behalf of House Lannister. As he is a great secrete keeper and seldom fails his clientele, no matter what the mission is, the price for hiring him soars during the following years. There is even saying that if he retires at the age of fifty, he will be tenth as wealthy as Lord Baldwin Lannister. However, at the peak of his career, Raymond the Rat disppears from King's Landing overnight as he comes to this city. Rumors have been told that, this time he is trying to trespass into the Hand's Tower for a piece of manuscript and is discovered. At the cost of his left eye, he manages to escape from the city by slaying one guard and heads his way to the Free Cities.
Years after that incident, a notorious fame of a swify galley called Sea Rat rises along the coast of the Narrow Sea. It is said that she is a ghost of night, storming the target ships and fading away in the fog. Anyone who is lucky enough to survive the loot claims that she has a captain with an obsidian left eye.
Character Physical Description: Being a Blackfyre, Raymond has silver straight hair and purple eyes, which make him attractive to maidens. To mask his true identity, after fled to the Free Cities, he has dyed his hair into dark black and had a obsidian eye to replace his injuryed one. A bit higher than normal westlanders, he is slender but energetic.
Character Reputation: Being Ray the Rat, he is a legendary theive in King's Landing. Years after, smallfolks are still wondering that which House could be the one sending his to the Hand's Tower and what manuscript is so valuable. Being Raymond the Raider, he is a nightmare to the merchants sailing across the Narrow Sea. And he has lots of identities in Braavos, which are used to sell his lootings. In addition, he has a high reputation among the courtesans, for his fortune, attractive visage and something else.
