"Good day, Lord Martell, and a pleasure it is to meet with thee." Arys said, his voice strong but friendly. "I believe Jonas has told you about me."

"He has." Lord Horas rises from the Sun Throne and steps down to the floor. "Walk with me, Arys, and tell me about your heritage."

"Of course, milord." Arys walks in step with Horas, letting Janos wait behind. "My father was Ser Beric Dayne, as he would have been known around Westeros, although he became somewhat of a defacto Lord of Starfall, before being exhiled." He chuckled. "I assume he was exhiled officially, otherwise he would have come back, no?" Arys grinned and shook his head. "My mother, well, she was a dear woman. Her mother however, well, I am slightly ashamed to say but she owned a brothel in Braavos. So you see, half of my bloodline is noble, the other is somewhat murkier."

"Do you have proof of your bloodline, Arys? Some heirloom or keepsake of your father's, mayhaps?" Horas asks.

"I have this." He said, handing a rolled piece of old looking parchment to Horas. "As for an Heirloom... I believe Dawn is floating about somewhere." He smiled easily.

Horas reads it briefly. "I see. Of course, even if Ser Beric Dayne was your father, that would make you a Sand, not a Dayne. And only a king can legitimize a bastard, Arys."
He smiles slightly. "I have pressing business in King's Landing. Perhaps you should accompany me there."

"Of course - My parents were not married... unfortunate one could say." At the proposition he nodded. "I think that may perhaps be a good idea. I thank you for the invitation to accompanying you." He bowed slightly.

Horas nods. "Then there is little time to waste. My ship leaves on the morrow."
