After a long wait, Jonas is allowed in. Horas Martell, Lord of Dorne, sits on the Sun Throne and looks up when his guards lead Sand in.

Janos approaches Horas Martell respectfully. "Greetings, Lord Martell. It is an honor to be allowed to speak with thee." Janos wasn't the type to speak with such pomp, but he had instructions to be present himself as well as he could.

Martell nods. "And what is it that you would like to ask me for, Master Janos?"

"Ah, it is a little information that I am after. Or rather, my master, who has just recently arrived at Westeros. He is of Dornish heritage, as I am, but knows little of his country and it's affiliations with the rest of Westeros. I understand much has changed of the Dorne that I once knew as young man."

Horas arches one eyebrow. "It has, Master Sand, but any Dornishman in the Shadow City could tell you as much. I was given to understanding that you wished to speak with me on a matter of some importance?"

"That it very true. You must understand that my master is very... unique. Before I say too much let me give you this letter. It is from him personally." He walked up to Horas and handed him a roll of parchment.

A guard takes the parchment from Jonas, then hands it to Lord Martell.
Horas unrolls it and reads.

Janos waited at a respectful distance for Lord Martell to finish reading.

Horas finishes reading and looks at Janos speculatively. He neatly rolls the parchment up again and sets it down on the arm of the throne.
"If your master is who he claims, he certainly has very... convenient timing. But I am willing to meet with him."

Janos smiles. "I can certainly affirm his claim, as well as many others under his command. Upon meeting him he shall obviously show you a document which would confirm this." A look of intrigue crossed the man's face. "What might this talk of timing be, if I may ask?"

"A tragedy has befallen House Harlaw, and now Starfall sits lordless. All of Dorne mourns." Martell bows his head, but his tone appears far from sincere.

"That of course is most unfortunate for House Harlaw. The dead have my prayers." Jonas said, in an equally false statement. "I shall write to my master immediately."

Janos left and returned to his room, writing a letter to Arys.
