Pieter frowns, "Do you find it funny, Lord Blackwood?" Pieter asked him sternly.
"I will talk of strategy if you cannot talk politics. We are cornered, and with limited supplies. We are both advantaged, and disadvantaged. I suggest we send out an attack force during the night to surprise the King, and use the disarray to march a force south along the western side of the God's Eye, away from Harrenhall. This would leave us with considerably more provisions, although it would be highly risky."

"Am I laughing, my lord?" Terrence asks.
"We would still have to break through the forces to the South, and they would be right behind us," Terrence says, furrowing his brow. "Perhaps."
He turns to Daeron. "Find Ser Desmond. I would hear his opinion on this. Daeron leaves to find the general.

Ser Desmond Darry, looking all pale and tragic, enters the room with his night shirt roughly shoved into his leather pants, "What?" he growled.

Terrence summarizes Tully's plan and asks Desmond's opinion.

"I already said we should attempt to break their lines and flee. It is a gamble, but we should do it know while the men are still healthy. If we wait any longer they will begin to grow sick, and I do not see any help." Derry was quiet a moment and then added, "As long as we are in this hall we can not win. I guarantee that."

Terrence lets out a sigh for the first time. "I had hoped help would come. But better a dangerous plan than a slow, wasting end."

Pieter nodded. "So it is decided. I believe night would be the best time. It would be the best time to escape, we would have least resistance." Pieter stated.
"Also, to where would be go? I suggest south and west, to meet with the Goldroad. We can raise support along the Riverlands there, and hopefully by then the Vale or North has marched south to engage with the King's army."

"Rodrick will not let us go that easily. We will be pursued, and I doubt we will be able to raise levies on the way. Our only hope is to cross the Blackwater at the Gold Road and make for the Stormlands."

Desmond shook his head, "I say we go whichever direction wields a hole. If it be west, west. If it be east, east." He wiped sweat away from his brow, "I do not think you understand how dangerous our situation is Lord Tully, "I give this only a five percent chance of survival, but staying in here is like standing in our own tombs."

Pieter sighed. "So be it. We will try our luck where we find it. Start preparing the men in the morn, I wish to do this as soon as possible." Pieter stated.

Derry shook his head, "We will not prepare them, not until almost dark. The sounds of the camp will change. We should do it at dawn tomorrow." Desmond rubbed his temples, "In the dark we will be unable to maintain cohesiveness. They have been building fortifications out there, we will need to see our way though. We must have light. I think that would be the wisest." Derry sighed, "My Lords should stay together, I will put our best cavalry around both of you, and as soon as we find a hole send you through"

"You are the one who most needs to escape, Desmond," Terrence says, "You must be in the group as well."

Pieter nodded, "Desmond, if it were not for you... We would not have made it even this far. You are as crucial as we are. You must not allow yourself to be captured by Rodrick's forces. We need you to survive this, so that we can continue to be a pain in Rodrick's side."

Desmond snorted, "If I am not watching the battle I am useless, and I will not be able to see it surrounded by mounted knights. The best chance for success is with me directing the course of events." He wrung his hands, "I will escape Lord Tully, I will not die in Harrenhal. I do not want to wander these cursed halls for the eternity."

Pieter nodded, "Good. Thank you, Desmond. Had you not answered my call.." Pieter let the sentence fall.
"So our plans are decided. We should all get some rest, we will need it."
