Cedric looked at Steffen, and licked his lips, "Any advice Worm? I know you see almost as deeply as I."

Steffen smiled, but his eyes were serious. "At the present only this - learn lessons from the fate of your eldest brother, addled cretin that he was. Your father too I suppose. Put trust in few and even those you must watch carefully. Power corrupts, yet being near to power and not having it is even worse. Take care and watch your back. It would be most unfortunate for your reign to end in the same way Allard's did."

Lord Martyn Lefford returns from his secret mission for the good of the Westerlands and ask to see the king. It would be quite a dramatic situation if he didn't look like he had just been in the next room the whole time reading a good book and maybe counting a few coins.

Tyberion Lannister has his step mother, and her children detained. And sends word through out the West that he is now in charge of the West. As commanded by King Rodrick. And that all lords are to ride for Riverrun, as the army is marching north.
A letter signed by most of the Lords of the West supporting him is sent with his orders.

Ser Steffen Lannister, ever the willing courtesan these days, offers his services to the new... Lord Paramount (?) in a public meeting.
"Good ser, do you mean to treat with the King over the issue of Lord Cedric's eventual return to us?" he asks.

Tyberrion invites Steffan in and says, "I will need your advice, I am not as confident as my father about our current affairs. Nor as wily. I do plan on treating with the King, but my father went to him knowing he was facing the Headsman's ax. We will pray, and plot, but we should live as we can." He frowned, "And I need the head of Lefford... I am just not sure if I should leave it attached to his body."

The elder Lannister, second cousin to Tyberion frowned. "Yes. Lord Martyn's actions have been regretable, moreso the small following his ideas seem to have gained. They shall fall in the long run though. The west will not stand for pretenders to Lannister rule.
Have you sent for Lord Lefford yet?"

"I have not. I will immediately." Tyberion replied.

"A wise thing to do. This needs stamping down upon as quickly as possible. We shall see what this snake has to say for himself."
