Pieter nodded, "The Vale has raised men, and I should hope plan on marching. Should the North side with the King, the Vale will be nearby to provide more support against them."

"I have spoken with Lord Stark, and he has stated that he will march south. He wishes to meet with me to take Seagard against the Rodrick loyalists. That means we have more support, and the only threat to us after Seagard is Duskendale. I have ordered Lord Frey to raise his banners, and with those I will join with Lord Stark to march on Seagard. I want you to join your men with mine, and march on Duskendale." Pieter said to Terrence, clearly a little more optimistic.

Terrence nods. "As you say, my lord. Shall I return to Raventree Hall to get my men in order?"

Pieter nodded, "Yes, return to Raventree Hall and gather your men." His tone of voice changed, a little more weary.
"Lord Cedric Lannister has declared himself King, and has stated that he will support all his fellow Kings, the Lords Paramount. I wish to know what you think of this?" Pieter asked Terrence.

Terrence considers this for a moment. "And what of the agreement you entered with the other Lords Paramount, to put Prince Selwyn on the throne?"

"I was not one of the Lords which signed the document put forward by Lords Dondarrion, Royce, Hightower, and Harlaw. I have only agreed to support Dondarrion as long as he or his allies do not grasp power."

"I think it could be done," Terrence says, "But caution may be key. Perhaps you should wait to see how the situation develops before acting."

Pieter nodded, "Yes. I will remain neutral towards the Kingship until after Rodrick is finished, and Lord Dondarrion and the others have met. I have a feeling one of them may grab power... And if so, our best option may be to join Cedric in removing ourselves from the power grab for the Iron Throne."

"I agree," Terrence says.

Pieter nodded. "Good. You have my leave to travel back to Raventree Hall. I have been trying to persuade Ser Darry to lead the force, I will send you a message if I get his support."

Ser Jeffry Turnberry arrives at Riverrun, leading the contingent of reinforcements sent from Ashemark. He finds the scene much to his liking - a veritable sea of tents are camped outside the keep and men wearing the colours of House Lannister, Brax, Prestor, Farman, Plumm et al. are everywhere, drinking, laughing and arguing amongst themselves.
From the keep itself, the lion of Lannister flies from every turret, as it did once long ago when Ser Steffen Lannister put in a stint as it's resident Lord.
Bristling with pride at his nation's taking of this magnificent keep, Jeffry goes to report to Lord Prestor, to announce he and the troops of House Marbrand's arrival.
