"Maybe I'll mix some wolfsbane in with your garlic frog legs," Lucas growls disgruntledly. He eyes the last archery target as though he could will his arrow closer to the center by force of will alone.

Ser Wulf Pyke approaches the axe throwing competition, and sees Lyreon win it.
"Not bad, Lyreon, but I dance the Finger Dance and this game is child's play. Want to try and redeem yourself for the other day, though?" he asked with a grin, picking up an axe and motioning to the targets.

On one of his rare moments of free-time, Galahad ventures down to the fair, to see what all the commotion was about.

The Lord of Tumbleton walked through the Fair.
Finding a game using a bow and arrow in an attempt to shoot a fake knight on horseback in the face.
Kebra smiled at the man, "I think I shall have a go. Is it free?"

He eyes the last archery target as though he could will his arrow closer to the center by force of will alone. "Wolfsbane, odorless when whole, but if grated or chopped smelling strongly of horseraddish or mustard seed. And if the garlic did cover up the scent?" Olander scoffed, opening his coat to reveal a pair of vials secured within his pocket, which he waggled in his ward's direction. "That would be the last time you ever tried to taint my meals, Master Lucas. I would be loath to bring word of your demise to your father, however, so I suggest you forget the notion."

Dorne is well enough, certainly better for the 15 years of peace and all the stronger for it. You are certainly free to come visit us if your duties ever permit it. I am perhaps biased but I feel that the mountains around Skyreach have a rugged beauty about them unmatched in all Westeros and our women likewise" he smiled as he looked across to his wife "Though I am definitely biased when I say that!" he laughed "I shall have to visit Skyreach then, Lord Fowler, when time permits. We don't have mountains in the Riverlands, and the mountains of the Vale sure don't compare up to what you speak of." Pieter said smiling.

Galahad walked up beside the man. "I will try also." The small stall holder quickly ran back then through up two bows and three arrows. He passed the bow and arrow to the two men then nodded his head quickly in the direction of the 'knight'. Kebra strung the bow placed his first arrow on it and then looked at the other man, "Ready?"

Lucas rolls his eyes. "Fine, fine, you win. I'll make you breakfast." The young Blackwood's eyes wander down the stalls, then fix on the large stadium in the near distance. "Are you going to fight in the tourney, Lord Olander?"

"There was a day when I would have leaped at the chance, to earn a name for myself, for glory and honor for my House and for the North," Olander said, and shook his head. "No, those days are well behind this old man, Lucas. Besides, it wouldn't be fair to beat down all those aspiring young knights and lordlings, would it?" he managed with a smile.

Lucas smiles back. "Don't worry, Lord Olander, I'll beat them all for you."

Olander continued his stride, but looked with an amused curiosity to his young squire. "Lord Terrence has granted you permission to enter the melee, is it?"

"Well... I haven't asked, exactly," Lucas admits with a shrug, "But why should I have to? I'm thirteen, nearly a man grown."

"The key word there being nearly. As much as your height claims otherwise, you are still a boy, Lucas. You may only fight in the melee if your father gives you his permission, because the gods know that I will not. There will be men in there who will break your arm or your jaw simply because they can. There is no finesse in the melee, no skill. It's just a bloody, brutal brawl."
