"No," Yancey says. "You have plenty of architects and stonemasons. You are required here."

Owen Corbray arrives at the tower of the Hand. He is given an audience with the Hand once Lord Royce leaves. "My lord Hand", Owen says with all due respect, as he bows before Smallwood. They had met a few times since Owen's promotion, and even though they were on friendly terms, he still addressed the Hand formally.

"No," Yancey says. "You have plenty of architects and stonemasons. You are required here." A look of anger appears on Howland's face for a second or two, his face is red though he manages to reign it in. "I see," he says simply. He turns and leaves. In the hallway he greets Ser Owen Corbray with a simple nod before walking on.

"Corbray," Yancey greets him in his typically brusque tone, "What is it?"

The Hand's guards scoff at the man. "Kevan who? The Hand's a busy man."

"Kevan Rivers. I would like to speak to him on a rather important matter," he says, lifting a number of nobility papers.

"Wait," the guard says, pointing at a chair. Nearly an hour later, Kevan is shown up to the Hand's study.
"Yes?" The Hand asks.

"My lord hand," Kevan said bowing. "I come to you as a humble servant of his grace and yourself. My own son fought under your banner during the recent war; I am, to some, Kevan Rivers... but to a few, I am known as Kevan Sunglass, the rightful heir to the lands Lord Barclay holds now.
My son is a very capable with the sword, and wishes to bring this Lord Barclay to justice personally, after he competes for the White Cloak of the Kingsguard," he says, bringing out a number of documents.
"These papers show my claims to be true."

Yancey gives the papers a cursory glance. "All know House Sunglass died out twenty years ago. I do not see how you can be one."
The Hand looks through the papers, looking to see who they were written by and exactly how they prove that Kevan is indeed a Sunglass.

"These are documentation of birth, from my previous Maester, servant to Sweetport Sound. As far as I know, I'm the only other remaining man of House Sunglass, save my son," he said, bowing his head respectively.
"I was taken away during the prosecution of my kin, from the man you now hunt: Lord Barclay. My maester sent me to Maidenpool when I was a small boy, when the men came. My son has fought with his grace in battle, and now competes for the White Cloak. He intends to assist in retaking Driftmark after the contest.
I also have something... something to prove my truths further," he said, removing from his neck an amulet. The amulet was made of solid gold, and in it's center was a large topaz, in the shape of a star.
"It is an heirloom of my house, my lord hand," he said, standing tall.
